Welcome, fellow achievement hunter.
Ever since the introduction of the rewards track, each expansion has always brought us a handful of achievements to complete in order to gain more rewards: while some of them are relatively easy to complete, some others may take some time or a proper set up. In case you're wondering what's the best way to gain all that sweet sweet XP locked behind Voyage To The Sunken City's achievements, do not fret, as we have the answer you're looking for!
In this guide we'll focus our attention on the Sunken City Demon Hunter achievements and provide at least one way to complete each of them so that you'll be able to get closer to the end of your reward track.
Novelty: starting from the Voyage To The Sunken City Achievement Guides, we're introducing the Related Achievements criterion, which basically goes to show if a certain achievement has a strong relation with another one (be it from the same class or from the Neutral section), and therefore if they are beneficial for each other from the completion point of view. All in all, it says if you can hit two (or more) birds with a single stone!
Disclaimer: as always, all expansion achievements can be completed in Ranked Standard, Ranked Wild, Arena, Casual & Heroic Duels and Classic - Casual Standard, Casual Wild and Tavern Brawl will not count towards your hunt! Moreover, we'll always take Ranked Standard as the default game format for our strategies: if we happen to have some strategies or particular interactions belonging to other modes to highlight, we'll be sure to specify it.
Here are all the achievements we're going to complete together:
- Cult of Personality - Summon 75 minions that cost (5) or more with Hedra the Heretic.
- She's All Thumbs - Refresh 100/200/300 Mana with Green-Thumb Gardener.
- Started from the Bottom - Play a Bottomfeeder with 10 or more Attack.
- Twice in a Blue Moon - Deal 30/60 damage with Moonbeam.

Sunken City Druid Achievements Overview
A nice set of achievements for Druid, as both Cult of Personality and She's All Thumbs ask you nothing but to play respectively Hedra the Heretic and Green-Thumb Gardener in the best possible way - for this reason, you should not find these two achievements difficult or frustrating to complete.
Regarding Started from the Bottom, it's a rather easy one-turn-and-go achievement: while you'll need a decent setup to get it done faster than normal, you won't lose your mind over it!
Edit: guide updated with the Throne of the Tides Mini-Set achievements.
How to Complete the "Cult of Personality" Druid Achievement
- Requirement: Summon 75 minions that cost (5) or more with Hedra the Heretic.
- Speed Rating: 3/5.
- Related Achievements:
- Druid's She's All Thumbs.
- Neutral's Upside Down and Turned Around.
- Neutral's Amalgam Aquarium.
- Neutral's Shale University.
- Neutral's Rock, Paper, BLADE!
- Neutral's Treasures Once Lost.
- Neutral's Army of Azshara.
You can basically read this achievement as "Play Hedra the Heretic as if you wanted to win games and have fun": if you see it this way, you'll understand that we won't have to go crazy in order to complete Cult of Personality.
For this reason, here's a Big Spell Druid with lots of juicy spells and some bouncers for even more progression points.
- Amalgam of the Deep can give additional copies of Hedra the Heretic or, in case, any other Naga with an achievement waiting for completion (Green-Thumb Gardener, Queen Azshara, School Teacher).
- If you manage to target Amalgam of the Deep with another Amalgam of the Deep, you'll get to choose between three minions belonging to different tribes, therefore progressing Amalgam Aquarium.
How to Complete the "She's All Thumbs" Druid Achievement
- Requirement: Refresh 100/200/300 Mana with Green-Thumb Gardener.
- Speed Rating: 3/5.
- Related Achievements:
- Druid's Cult of Personality.
- Neutral's Upside Down and Turned Around.
- Neutral's Amalgam Aquarium.
- Neutral's Shale University.
- Neutral's Rock, Paper, BLADE!
- Neutral's Treasures Once Lost.
- Neutral's Army of Azshara.
This achievement can be completed in pretty much the same way of Cult of Personality, and therefore the deck you see below is also the same: Hedra and Green-Thumb Gardener work very well together, so there's no real reason to split them up.
How to Complete the "Started from the Bottom" Druid Achievement
- Requirement: Play a Bottomfeeder with 10 or more Attack.
- Speed Rating: 4/5.
- Related Achievements: marginally Neutral's Seashells by the Seafloor.
Started from the Bottom may require a bit of setup, but with the right luck you can complete it in a single game, which is a remarkable upside in our book. In order to complete this achievement as soon as possible, we'll go in on Dredge synergy, and in particular on Aquatic Form.
- Play and kill Bottomfeeder.
- Dredge it up with the likes of Aquatic Form, Tuskarrrr Trawler and (no one saw this coming) Living Seed (Rank 1).
- Living Seed (Rank 1) is a great Beast tutor and also a valid alternative to Dredge, but you should play only one copy of Bottomfeeder to guarantee the draw.
- For the same reason, beware of Bottomfeeder-Moonlit Guidance shenanigans: you do not want more than one copy floating around in your deck!
- In case your opponent will ignore Bottomfeeder, taunt it up with Stockades Guard or Mark of the Wild.
- If you follow this guide, you'll need to repeat the process 4 times to have a 9 Attack Bottomfeeder.
- Play Azsharan Gardens and then play the 10 Attack Bottomfeeder.
- Wild format note: a Spell Druid with Oaken Summons can Recruit your Bottomfeeder each time it dies, but the facts that this card costs 4 mana and the unit doesn't have Taunt make this strategy less appealing than the Dredge one.
- Wild format note: Survival of the Fittest shenanigans are very interesting - more expensive, but perhaps way quicker.
How to Complete the "Twice in a Blue Moon" Druid Achievement
- Requirement: Deal 30/60 damage with Moonbeam.
- Speed Rating: 3/5 in Standard, 5/5 in Wild
- Related Achievements: none.
Let's be honest: when Moonbeam was revealed, every single veteran player thought about Malygos Druid - the card seems to be designed exactly for such archetype. For Twice in a Blue Moon, we advise you to go to Wild, as things will be exponentially easier there.
- Draw your deck.
- Capture Coldtooth Mine will always draw Maly, acting as a useful tutor.
- Play Malygos and summon additional copies of it with Germination/Solar Eclipse shenanigans.
- Get as many copies of Moonbeam as you can.
- Moonlit Guidance and Nature Studies have a chance to help.
- Cast all the Moonbeams you have, possibly in combination with Solar Eclipse.
- Be sure to not kill your opponent before being done with all the Moonbeam casts: sometimes you may want to target minions instead of the enemy's face.
However, we are aware that not everyone owns or is willing to craft Malygos, so we tried to build a "Standard Malygos" Druid: it's less efficient, it will complete Twice in a Blue Moon at a significantly lower pace, but it won't cost a lot of dust and, more importantly, it will still get the job done.
- The combo is Guild Trader into Guild Trader into Moonbeam for a total of 10 damage per cast.
- If you add a single Talented Arcanist to the mix, the damage dealt will increase to 14.
- School Teacher's Nagalings have a chance to Discover additional copies of Moonbeam.
- Although Nagalings are not spells, they do cast them, so their Battlecry is still affected by Spell Damage buffs.
- Both School Teachers, Nagalings and Talented Arcanists have synergy with Brann Bronzebeard.
- Wildheart Guff is not necessary but highly recommended.

Comments
"She's All Thumbs" appears to not progress if I've already played Guff. Is this a known issue? I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere.
Edit: Or actually, it's no longer progressing at all. lol, whoops.
That Hedra achievement is just a pain in the ass. If you don't try to win and just aim to play maximum amounts in Hedra, you get easily derailed by everything: opponents killing you, finding Hendra and - most of all - finiding her too early and playing cheap spells, that later give you 2- and 3-drops, that just take space on the board and don't progress the quest. It's a cheap achievement and it could've been 40-50 minions easily.
Took a few tries (and a seemingly willing participant) to get the Bottomfeeder achievement, but I got there! Thanks for the deck!
Surprised you didn't mention all the neutral Handbuff cards you could use with Bottomfeeder.
Aside from wild stuff like Costumed Entertainer and that one Anubisath guy, you also have the one Handbuff guy from Alterac whose name eludes me.
From my experience it's pretty hard to get the same minion to die repeatedly without it being silenced or polymorph because most players are just unaware dicks who think you're trying to pull some crazy OTK
Thanks for the help on the Bottom Feeder one. I was working through iterations of something like that deck but hadn't quite gotten there. It took me 5 tries to finally get an opponent that I could complete the process. Darn Rogues kept sending it back to hand and the pesky Priests kept silencing it.
Oof, rough to hear you had to go through such annoying matchups, but I am glad you pulled it off in the end
