Most folks at Reddit say that their dust gets reduced to zero but not negative. So you actually do get some profit if you spend the dust before it was taken.

Knowing Konami, I have a funny feeling that this game will be filled with whales who normal summons Aleister, which is a shame because I do want to play the digital version of Yugioh without having to rely on ygopro.

Yeah I’m at 5.4 because I crafted a Golden Magister Dawngrasp, so I wonder what they’re gonna do.  I wish they’d let me keep the dust but I doubt it

What about Shudderwock?  He seems really good as every token he finds is effectively a triple.  And its a tier 2 card meaning he can just stay down on 1 and farm triples then just discover and sweep the lobby as long as there is one token.

I feel like I made a mistake spending that 8k dust right away…  But I have more than enough dust so I guess if they take some of it out of my total remaining I’ll be okay.

EDIT: Based on what some people are saying on this thread, those who got it twice actually saw the pop up twice.  I only saw it once so maybe I'm okay and won't have any dust taken away.  Unless I had extra because some cards shouldn't have been refunded.  But again, should be okay either way.

At least we can be sure that this is the one of few things that will be fixed without us waiting months for it.

Did it say what will happen if you spend all those extra dust though? Would you end up with negative dust, that would be interesting.

Good news, IMO you're quite wrong.

Taking out Rapid Fire is a huge blow for Odd Questline Hunters. Most of the games where they're winning are when they draw at least one Rapid Fire. As for Pirate Warrior, I don't think it's enough but Even Warlock stomps Pirate Warriors and with Odd Questline Hunter nerfed, I can see Even Warlock becoming more popular.

As for your take on Sorcerer's Apprentice nerf, I understand that some people would be sad to see this card go but not only that it's broken right now, but it's also very design limiting. This means with new cards, Sorcerer's Apprentice can only get more degenerate from here so the nerf is necessary.

Trust me. If you've ever played against an ignite mage, you'll know why this is justified. It is the pinnacle of the "Am I dead?" deck.

Almost certainly brukan. Even before this meta, it was clearly the better card. Or at least if both are in the same deck, brukan has the better win rate by far. In terms of late game, definitely brukan. Just more value than bearon any day.

Still, its perhaps better to wait until 25th before doing anything rash. For all we know, both could be unviable.

Not making sense has never been a reason that applies to Hearthstone, especially for new things, especially nowadays.

I hope they are removing all the problematic (ultra-rare) existing treasures and passives to make room for this new stuff.

Also, this new keyword seems awfully confusing for those of us who can't even understand the concept of a second (and third) page of decks in our collection.
