nerfs odd hunter quest by nerfing a common, sneaky bastards Microsoft will be proud
apprentice nerf seems because of Drekthar? like yes its a problem but cmon, its like they are saying "hey spells costing 0 aint no problem but the girl being cheated out of the deck is a problem.
glad that kills otk mage and their almost infinte turn timer
I have said it before, but this patch is building up to be the biggest non-expansion patch do this date. Especially with multiple new features on top of the huge ammount of content BGs, Mercs and Duels will receive.
I hope these are wrong. Those nerfs help aggressive decks against rogue but not others. Rogue still has too much card draw and too many ways to deal massive damage from hand (Garrote + Guild Trader or Edwin + Mr. Smite). The nerfs mean you have an extra turn before they chain cloak into Scabbs.
Mage has the same problem. Too much card draw and damage from hand with Mozaki (previously the quest-line). Nerfing Incanter's Flow slows them down a bit. I hated the United in Stormwind meta at lower ranks because it was mostly quest-line mage and hyper-aggressive decks that countered mage (face hunter inparticular). Those nerfs would boost hyper-aggro. I hope it would subdue rogue and mage enough to let other decks be playable.
Instead of increasing Wildpaw Gnoll's cost I would be much happier if they fixed the interaction with Maestra. Wildpaw Gnoll is a good pay-off in a thief deck that runs thief cards like Swashburglar, but instead Maestra is used to discount Gnoll and it feels wrong. They could change Gnoll to say non-rogue cards.
Definitely didn't expect the August Celestials to be distributed this way.
Chi-Ji I always thought would be for Rogue, but Mage kinda fits.
Yu'lon I thought they'd save for the addition of a Monk class but Shaman makes second most sense.
Xuen I definitely thought would be Paladin.
Niuzao (The Black Ox) being for Hunter makes the least sense to me, 100% would think he'd be associated with Warrior.
My guess is that these associations were made because Rogue, Paladin, and Warrior already got their Lunar New Year skins. All of these look really cool though!
Rapid Fire is listed as a card buff, but it is of course a deck nerf for Odd Hunter. Which is a good thing, since that's one of the Wild decks that you run into way too often, along with Pirate Warrior.
That Rokara buff is neat. The armor total on Hero cards was an underutilized mechanic (only Dr. Boom, Mad Genius had a different amount), so I'm glad to see them experiment with that.
Oh, you posted a new version while I was writing this XD
I think your later iteration is the best one so far. Alternatively, you could use a variation of the first version which makes minions cost 1 instead of 0 (and maybe it could cost 6 mana instead of 7)
AeroJulwin
The last version you posted is very cool, but linkblade is right about it being a better The Runespear. That card was garbo, so I'd go with it anyways.
BloodMefist
Both are cool, but I like Orb of Dominion a lot. Maybe it could depict a mirror instead of an orb, though.
BasilAnguis
I think my favorite card is Ring of Purity (Silence Priest yay), but for goodness sake, change its name because it reminds me of this.
Saint's Skull is a close second for me. linkblade's criticism about consistency is kinda right, but considering you have to pay 5 mana for it I'd probably say it's not that big of a deal.
As per the feedback, I incorporated the "first minion only" stipulation into the second version, then brought the cost of the Locket down. There's no way it needs to cost 9-Mana in this form.

Wailor - I prefer the 5-Mana Horn of Cenarius, the one without the Durability requirement. Wisps are beings of energy, so that's a good flavor-connection with unspent Mana. I don't think the weapon being "infinite" is too big of a problem, given you have to skip half your turn or more to fill the board up with Wisps. You've also kind of lost out on hero attacks, too, so you don't break the Horn. That can be a significant tradeoff, and helps to balance out the card.
AeroJulwin - That art is so cool, with the waves on the cover of the book. Nice find :) …I kind of just realized how much this spits on The Runespear. The Runespear is garbage, but this is that but blatantly better and costs half as much. My opinion of the card has been damaged by that realization, because otherwise your card is awesome :(
BasilAnguis - I'm not a fan of Saint's Skull for two reasons: A. It will completely bog down the game, 'cause the Priest will have to decide what to do after every every single spell cast; and B. You built your deck a certain way on purpose, so you're likely casting the spell you want to cast already. Ring of Strength can get abusive real fast, so that's a No from me. That leaves Ring of Purity, and while I don't like that you have Silence on the Hero Power (that's a big Fuck You tech against the Paladin), it does need a little something more to be an impactful Legendary.
BloodMefist - I don't find Gaze of the Void compelling, although the art and name are great. Maybe it's the Discard, maybe it's because it "only" summons Voidwalkers; I don't know. Orb of Dominion seems like it could be rather frustrating to go against, but it's the better card in my opinion.

That's Xuen, the White Tiger, he's an August Celestial (Part of the Pandaren pantheon essentially)

Kinda disappointed to get another Druid hero over a Hunter or Priest (or DH) hero, but it's really lovely looking.

I hope this does not pop up when it would not actually affect quest progression. That would get annoying.

If I'm conceding, it's because I have no interest in continuing the game, I'll play another, but good on them for thinking of it... eventually.
