Our minds are one! Put 5€ in, upgraded everything and bought packs for gold for every gold I own over 10K. So I can buy the Miniset or packs for the next expansion. I am loving mercs. I am not getting nearly as much XP as I would in the other game modes (grinding PVE content yields very little), but I don't mind at all. I am missing just 5-6 legendary mercs (crafting them), and I am enjoying the little bits of mercs PVP that I've done + the PVE.
Level 232, as of today. I have three daily quests and two weeklies still to do (that's a sign of how much mercs has dominated my HS time lately!).
This will be highly utilized in any questline build. You just trade it to help complete the quest, and then once you drop Demonslayer Kurtrus, it now becomes an Arcane Intellect at anytime, not just when drawn
This is a little too tough for 1 mana honestly. Thankfully they are limiting the Charge minions and giving out Rush a lot more instead. But this being a common is strange. The fact that you can get a 1/3 shield or a 3/1 punch to an annoying enemy minion for 1 mana just feels really busted.
High cost, but if you set it up right, it could be a "more efficient" Darkmoon Tonk. I was tossing out 3-5 The Rat Kings that never went away. That alone would be a good inclusion for this card.
The fact that they opened it up to Deathrattles as a whole and not restricted it to be from a Beast is what will make this card amazing to include in Hunter builds.
That is the problem, isn't it? Game mode that was announced as PVE with added PVP for when you are all maxed out and want to measure your strength vs others has become a dull grind for coins so you can do only thing there is - PVP, which has extremelly high ceiling of entry in regards to mercs used (if we forget the ai battles). But the PVP itself is kinda pointless as well, since there isnt very many possible combinations or plays you can pull off.
So without any other things going on with the game mode, it basically failed to deliver on its intended purpose. As you said, the Dungeon Runs had better replayability than this.
Imho the bounties need a redo, make them longer, more meaningful and random with more stuff happenning in each run snd with a meaningful reward at the end. Not 5 min speedruns that noone really pays any attention to, because in this state, there is little reason to.
8 mana for 6/6 that will repeat a higher cost card is GREAT! Even with the higher cost this is seriously one of the better minions that Mage has received this year.
What I am really liking about this is that it isn't restricted to "This Turn". That means you can plug it away after you've dropped something the previous turn to make your opponent really not like the board.
2 for 3/2 is not bad. The initial shot to whatever is really good. If your opponent leaves it on the board, there is an efficient minion punching you again and again
This is just ridiculous. The ability to reduce the cost of a card in your hand, combined with Efficient Octo-bot will make Garrote Rogue a little better with the draw AND cost reduction.
I love this and cannot say enough good about it. It seriously has a lot of potential with standard. Not as much in Wild with The Demon Seed being banned.

Crow's Nest Lookout
3 for 4 damage... and if you have controlled the board well, it will be 4 damage to the same minion. It has value, but not over the top.

Remains to be seen. I think it has potential but I don't want to sell it down the river or put it on a pedestal just yet
