Just to give a bit more info, with the introduction of the Core set, Blizzard added two pack types in the Shop:
- Standard packs (red cover) which appear last in the section entitled "Standard Packs and Cards".
- Wild packs (red cover with vines) which appear first in the section entitled "Other Packs". This section is just before all the wild sets separated by year.
Hit Level 45 without the tavern pass, feels nice. I'm currently sitting at 2,200 gold, and I'm getting frustrated with my progress there. I really wish they'd stop having those dumb golden rares and epics in the rewards track, especially since they can't be dusted. They're just a waste of space.
The achievements I've managed to complete are from Warrior (attack 500 times with pirates, and summon 50 minions from deck), Priest (deal X damage with your hero power), and trade 500 times. I'm close to completing the Warlock one where you redirect your damage to the enemy, but my Quest Handlock games don't even reach the point where I can play Blightborn Tamsin; either I kill them quickly with the Flesh Giants + Battleground Battlemaster, or they kill me first. I'll hit level 50 in the next few days, once the new weekly quests come in.
Oh, and I hope the devs massacre Mage in the nerfs next week. People really should direct their hate for Priest to Mage as well. That class has been degenerate and boring for a while now, with nothing but spell-only archetypes. I wonder why they even bothered printing new minions for that class this expansion. Just kill Incanter's Flow, Sorcerer's Gambit, and Ignite, then buff some other strategies for the class (I hope they do something for Hero Power Mage). I'm sick of getting hit by 18 damage from two Fireballs in one turn.
There are and they even have the 10 pack legendary. I bought a couple and got that MSoG 1/1 Legendary "DR: deal the damage of this minion to enemy minions". The odds of getting a good legendary in wild are pretty low.
Late-game control decks *can* work, but you just need such a really specific set of cards... and the garbage in the starter pools really make them inconsistent.
I made an absolutely amazing Swain / Vlad / J5 control deck in the Viktor lab that drained itself back to full HP and created an impenetrable board presence - but the thing need to wait until Mana 4 or 5, without a mana ramp power, before it would really start switching-on and it was just super inconsistent because the early drops were just so mediocre.
Unless we get character-tailored draft pools, I think the labs will be dominated by aggro / mid-range decks because you just don't have any guarantee of drafting Leviathan or the right combination of sea monsters to make a control deck functional.
I would love to have a "race book" explaining every race's story in warcraft. Even if it is a fantasy story. A murloc chapter, naga, elemental one, etc
I don't understand how an RNG based mechanic "reward skill" it's either you high role the card you need or you don't, either way your depending on luck. I mean do you really need to be skilled to pick a card that say "kill a unit" when need something removed from the board for example?
I'd like to see something like Book of Azeroth, chapters would reward you a Standard or Wild pack, depending on your choice, and would tell a story of Azeroth heroes and villains alike, like Sylvanas, Arthas, etc. I think it would be a neat idea
Roffle is a skilled HS streamer with great insight, but usually plays more meme-y versions of good decks. He prefers having fun over crushing opponents more efficiently.
Although I have not tried these 2 suggestions, I think both Brann Bronzebeard and Questing Adventurer seem like win-more cards in Questline Druid. The Oaken Summons plus Park Panther combination give you armor and puts a rushing minion into play which also supports the questline progression.
The Standard version of Questline Druid runs Mark of the Spikeshell which I really like, but in Wild it is probably not good enough and also considered a win-more card.
In the current meta, the only real weakness of this deck is encountering too many opposing Taunt minions. That is the area where improvements should be found ultimately.
I have a strong suspicion that the Hungry Owlcat is intended as a cheap unit that can be easy support fodder for a Lulu deck. Aside from that, I'm struggling to find a purpose for such a unit in any existing deck archetype.
What do you think of versions with more creatures (Brann, quest adventurers, etc) and no Oaken Summons? Seems to add some more board presence. Just saw Roffle's.
Edit: Ok, Manifest is literally Discover while Invoke was specifically Celestial cards. It was super confusing since the exemplar card included a Celestial pick as one of the Manifest options.
I'm actually completely confused as to what the difference is.

They do have Wild packs to buy in the shop?

I'd love it if they had a Wild pack as rewards or even to buy in the shop.
Would be great for filling in a few gaps and I'd probably actually look at what rares and commons I got when opening :)
edit: there is? Gold spending time!!!!!!

Smaller chunks of story, like Book of Mercenaries. Lore explanations are the only way after play through I know what the hell is going on.

Since the card is dual region with Ionia I think your suspicion is correct.

Wild: Jade Quest Shaman feat. Bolner
Aya Blackpaw should be an autoinclude on every jade deck.
Bloodlust doesn't fit with the deck, and I don't like Lifedrinker if you will not otk the enemy with Shudderwock. Change them for battlecry heal/draw cards. Armor Vendor, Spice Bread Baker, Novice Engineer or Antique Healbot are sweet cards with Corrupt the Waters.
Where is bolner?
