Most of the times you will want this to hit something big or something specific, but since it is random and you need spells to make the trigger it feels pretty difficult. I don't like it.
Blood To Ichor and of course Mortal Coil are the first cards that come to mind. I think this is not as good as Mortal Coil, but certainly better than Blood To Ichor. Strong in Arena, won't see much play in constructed unless a Zoo deck suddenly pops up. As far as I know Warlock don't run Wandmaker so that is not a consideration either.
but still, a low stat dragon is not impressive, if they didn't retain the stats now that would be something.
The thing is, the most impressive thing is usually in their card text. Just imagine a 2 mana 2/3 with [Hearthstone Card (Alexstrasza, the Lifebinder) Not Found]'s battlecry, or [Hearthstone Card (Ysera, the Dreamer) Not Found]'s. Plenty of dragons have an effect like that that can swing the game.
Yeah, I guess I can see this, I guess I need to check the current pool of dragons
Yes, I'd like to see some examples of this content employees and players deem inappropriate. I hope nobody is planning on changing all female characters that are showing too much skin or something.
the thing is...if workplace conditions actually do improve then that's a good thing. The point isn't to inject moral fibre into Bobby Koticks gelatinous spine, it's literally just about having the workplace actually be a safe environment, and if the only way to get there is to hold the company's profits hostage then so be it.
I like removing the Finalist Voting stage, however I also feel you would need to adjust how voting works too. Looking at the Transparency Reports, you see that some cards had 50 votes (those who submitted early) vs people who only have a handful (submitted at the end). The cards with more votes are more representative of how a card is received in the community than a card with only a handful of votes. The Finalist Phase currently fixes that as all cards can be seen when voting starts.
To fix this, no voting should be allowed until the Submission Phase is complete. This way, every card would be in when the voting commences and all cards could be seen by all who vote. Now, this would segregate people who only have time in the beginning of the week to cast their vote, but would give everyone equal footing.
Submission Phase -> Voting Phase -> Winner
As far as expanding the rating system, I don't think we need that. I can't speak for everyone, but I already take all three potential categories into consideration when I vote on a card. Are some people going to vote a 1 star to a good card? Probably, but they'll do that in an expanded system too.
TLDR: I think the only change that needs to happen is removing the Finalist Phase and separating the Submission and Voting phases into two distinct phases. If that happens, all cards that are in the comp will get equal representation.
mmm doesn't seem bad but it feels incredibly slow, in earlier turns you just want to drop the beats I think, not drop this, and in later turns this seems terrible.
yet you were the one to immediately strawman me as a horny coomer just because I stated that I dislike pointless censorship.
Not to mention, as I've outlined above already, this has nothing to do with the workplace issues meaning that if any form of censorship or revisionism is taking place it would essentially just be leeching off a legitimate issue with real world consequences.
If they aesthetic changes come up on their own, that's fine with me, we can have a conversation about that, but if indeed comes as a direct result of the lawsuit and it's slimy and disingenuous.
Rokara was my favourite card from Forged in the Barrens, and this is easily my favourite card from United in Hearthstone (and probably the most powerful quest reward).
I think you can play a deck that pretty consitently makes way to Antonidas, my problem is that at 8 mana you can't do much than drop it, and maybe you need to help the board so the random fireballs go where you need to.
This has some potential, but it won't ever be HUGE until late enough in the game that your opponent can probably deal with it. Still, it's SI:7 and it demands removal.
I feel pretty good about how I was able to keep up with rating the cards this reveal cycle. I've rated them all now and I'm pretty sure I've commented on them all. Looks like a pretty decent set coming up. I'm excited to try and make a Lady Prestor deck and a boar deck work out. Who cares if they are good, I just want to have a fun payoff.
New Mage Weapon - Celestial Ink Set
Most of the times you will want this to hit something big or something specific, but since it is random and you need spells to make the trigger it feels pretty difficult.
I don't like it.
New Warlock Spell - Final Gasp
I honestly have no idea what my almost 2 months ago self wanted to say here.
New Neutral Minion - Lady Prestor
Yeah, I guess I can see this, I guess I need to check the current pool of dragons
New Hunter Minion - Stormwind Piper
Mm seems too slow and does not have a tribal that works well on hunter.
New Hunter Spell - Aimed Shot
And you can even split the kill command damage here.
New Hunter Minion - Rodent Nest
I feel that this should cost less and have 0 attack. It's weird for an egg (I know it's a nest but still) to have attack.
Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick Calls Original Response Tone Deaf, Responds to Lawsuit
Yes, I'd like to see some examples of this content employees and players deem inappropriate. I hope nobody is planning on changing all female characters that are showing too much skin or something.
New Hunter Spell - Devouring Swarm
Elwynn Boar support.
DreamHack Beyond Begins, 3 Hearthstone Tournaments Plus Free Forged in the Barrens Packs Available
Now requires level 10... but anyway: "Codes are gone for today! Come back tomorrow!"
New Mage Minion - Grand Magus Antonidas
Spell damage doesn't affect the fire balls. The power level of this card are reduced because this.

Judge the consequences, not the intent.
When Clones Attack!
The decks are random each time, so that would be a lot of work for them to make them visible each time you select a class

New Druid Spell - Sow the Soil
Seems better, an attack buff for all your minions in swarm decks can be a winning strike.
Cap'n Rokara
Rokara was my favourite card from Forged in the Barrens, and this is easily my favourite card from United in Hearthstone (and probably the most powerful quest reward).
"I am NOT too young to fight!"
"FROSTWOLVES!"
This character is awesome!

New Druid Minion - Wickerclaw
The big downside of this is playing it turn 2, at least if has high health but I dunno.
The Juggernaut
Exactly what Pirate decks needed: Inevitability! LOL
This card is insane!
New Rogue Minion - Loan Shark
Great card for evolving kappa.
Actually pretty good, especially since you can draw it and trigger the deathrattle with that new spell.
New Rogue Minion - SI:7 Informant
This has some potential, but it won't ever be HUGE until late enough in the game that your opponent can probably deal with it. Still, it's SI:7 and it demands removal.
Prestor's Pyromancer
The other people commenting here didn't read the card. It doesn't say 'this turn'.
You can play this on turn 2 and then a Combustion on turn 3 at 6 damage, or instead play another one on turn 3 and a Fireball on turn 4 for 10 damage.
Read the card, guys.
United in Stormwind
I feel pretty good about how I was able to keep up with rating the cards this reveal cycle. I've rated them all now and I'm pretty sure I've commented on them all. New Warlock Spell - Dreaded Mount
I don't get it. Why not just "summon a Dreadsteed"? We had Giggling Inventor summoning OG Annoy-o-Trons. This should be the same thing.
