2026 is gonna be an amazing year, though. This is exactly why 2019 was such a blast -- the previous year pulled back on the power level after a huge power spike, and that paved the way for a fantastic post-rotation meta.

Without shadow of a doubt, got to be the worst expansion paired with an even worse miniset.

Now, there should be some method to this madness of team5's current strat of lowering power levels, and Im guessing its because it makes it easier to balance wild, introduce legacy cards into standard without buffing them, and perhaps allow more design space. But this is getting absurd now, because nothing is changing, all the mechanics are either boring or too weak, and overall hearthstone just isnt all that interesting.

I mean, just look at the current meta. The best deck without a doubt is fyrakk rogue because its also the only deck that has a blow out turn in the form of scoundrel into ysera, or fyrakk bounce. Behind this is either starship warrior, starship DK, starship dhunter...we get the pic. Your aggro deck choices is either pirate dhunter or quest warlock, both of which does decently against rogue, but shits itself against any of the control/starship decks.

Mixed in with the constant events (seemingly we are never allowed to have a week without one), the ridiculous monetization that practically abuses whales and a straight middle finger to everyone else, the fact is that hearthstone is waning my interest quickly. One more shit expansion and who knows how much longer anyone can take.

Okay, finally the miniset is upon us. Cant say how much more I can take out of the current standard.

Beast Speaker Taka - Its not flashy. The only good thing about this card is that its a 7 drop, which most decks tend to want. The beast it will summon is pretty much forgettable since you have to forgo the battlecry. Basically, its just a big thing that summons a big thing. Most of the time you'll get destroyed way before any of this becomes relevant.

The Egg of Khelos -  Cute but useless. Even if we can imagine the innumerable things we can do with this i.e. gorm, umbra, repeated board clears, theres just no reason to believe that it'll ever be relevant. You will most likely get destroyed way before the beast comes out and on the off chance it does, chances are good your opponent rids it with one card while you look sad.

Herbivore Assistant - Might get beast hunter and quest/aggro druid up a bit. Normal but does the job, especially rush as a keyword being so important in these decks, assuming these decks are even playable.

Devilsaur mask - Its a mage card. Why? Because mage can discover it and only through there will this card ever see any play.

Following Demonxz95, I have also replaced the AI images in this expansion with artwork created by humans :) I've also replaced the human-made artwork of a few cards with more fitting pieces.

While I was at it, I've also renamed the keyword Outsized as Undersized. I, a non-native English speaker, thought "outsize" meant "surpass in size", working similar as words like "outmatch" or "outplay"... But I was wrong, as both "outsize" and "outsized" simply mean huge, which is exactly the opposite of what I was going for. I think the new name makes much more sense.

Finally, I've made some balance changes. Namely, I added the Demon and Elemental tags to Sierpes and Radiant Lightjaw, respectively; and removed the Combo trigger of Noxious Scolopendra (it compared too well to Apothecary Helbrim).

Just got into Megaman Xdive offline this month and finished it as well as Tears of the kingdom. So I can say it has been a great month for now.

Also got Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour wich is better than I expected. And 3D printed some Mice for my switch 2 mouse as the straps leave my hands aching after 20 minutes.

The last achievement I had was for 200 kills in Hide and Seek mode, and my friend group I normally play with refused to help me grind for it. :(

But I got it in the end by just going ham on public lobbies all day long.

I've even thought of making a thread specifically for people showing off their fully completed achievement list/platinum trophies which could double as a way for people to find people to help grind certain achievements with.

That would be a great idea. Have helped 2 or 3 times someone with those kinds of achivements but it can be really hard to find someone willing to spend that time grinding. Naruto Ninja Storm 2 (Online) and Payday 2 are the ones I remember the most helping. Payday 2 being the one I spent the most time on. Some achivements requiere a lot of time and good team mates (at least back then when the bots were horrible, do not know how well they do now) at the same time

New update! Great I haven ot played in a while, but thought the game was abandoned

I finally started Baldur’s Gate 3, and it’s completely wrecking my schedule. I told myself I’d only play for an hour or two at a time, but that never happens. I’ll start a conversation with an NPC, make a choice, end up in a fight, and suddenly it’s 1AM. I haven’t even scratched the surface yet, still in Act 1 and I’m already overwhelmed by how much there is to do. It’s a game that makes you want to explore every little corner just in case you miss something cool. I can see this one lasting me months.

Had some free time so finally got to 3D Print some more stuff, nothing for tabletop games yet (other than some props for dnd) as I still have some problems with "big" stuff in my 3D printer.

During last month I was able to get a full time job and I am not as pressured on making buck with the printer and got some more "Stupid stuff" done than I would have done otherwise (for example, that "device" to charge your phone in any plug and let it rest there or my NES cartdrige switch card holder or page marker)

Other than that the usual suspects and got into Tiny Tina's Wonderlands wich I have had for a long time but never touched after Borderlands 3 just dissapointed me.

Main Story and sidequests were pretty fun!.

Also got into Mario Kart World (Got mirror mode unlocked) and Mario & Luigi Brothership. Other than that, I had a job for a friend paid with a nintendo gift card so I upgraded my TLOZ:  BOTW and TOTK to their Switch 2 editions and been having some fun hunting rare monsters I missed for kilton and in the case of TOTK getting those final shrines thanks to the new GPS system. I got bored after finishing it and was not feeling it for looking all the missing shrines (around 25) but time has made me willing to keep going.

This game is astoundingly good and I highly recommend everyone give it a try.
