Coming out of my hole to say Keylocker is a phenomenal game, definitely up there for favorite things I played last year. It's very weird and rough around the edges, but the things it does properly it absolutely crushes. I recommended it to quite a few people before, but now that its free to pick up for a bit there's no reason not to try and give it a shot.
It has been a while since I played Minecraft :D Need to get back to it as some point! I can attest Biomes O' Plenty is a great mod that adds so many varied biomes to your game! Must have! ;-)
To me they seem like mistakes a human WOULD do tbh, and I think the background is too.. sensible to be AI. BUT ultimately it's impossible to say for sure.
This COULD be an AI image that was then worked on by a real artist, which is honestly the most likely (and depressing) option.
Everyone seems to think they are suddenly an AI image expert these days without understanding anything about it, but that's nothing new.
Clark Hellscream made an entire Video about this. The Hearthstone Cards have the Mana on the wrong side, while the back swirls are switched in Tyrande's hand, there is no plate for the meat and a few other small details that wouldn't have happened if it was a real drawing.
Doesn't look AI to me. It looks like a rough painting that didn't have any fine details added. Maybe Tyrande's face is, but I don't see any obvious AI artifacting.
Well that's it really, if you needed any further evidence that something systemic is wrong with hearthstone, just look at the massive list of buffs and nerfs that are coming our way merely a week after launch.
Of course theyd have to do it, because the current expansion is pretty much the shittiest Ive ever experienced. Its hard to even believe theres a new expansion going on.
After the starcraft set, I thought it was fairly unanimous that people just wanna play good cards and have fun. If youre gonna just print underpower cards and keep nerfing the cards everyone wants to play, then eventually people just kinda dont wanna play hearthstone anymore, and that's pretty much my sentiment after repeated nerfs to decks I like playing, in favour of the current crop of cards that are objectively inferior but yet are supposed to be the new shiny thing Im required to like. Id love to ask someone in management what's all this lower power level strategy in aid of?
As for the buffs and nerfs itself, Im not entirely sure what to think about it. Do we even want quests to be viable? Whens the last time it was good and did not attract loads of unwanted hate?
Alright, so... hopefully my final update to the set.
Previously, there were 11 cards that used AI art. I always wanted to go back and change them because AI art is a very controversial thing, and even though a lot of people may feel like using them for a pet project where I make no income from them is not a big deal, and I get that... I know some people simply don't feel that way. I would much rather not be part of the problem, which is my from this point, I am proud to announce that as of today, my expansion is officially 100% free of AI art!!! The only gameplay change as a result of this is that Ringside Physician is no longer an Undead (in addition to being a Draenei). Otherwise, the cards are all the same as they were before.
Underfel Rift also give me an idea. I can combine Underfel Rift technology with Starship technology to buff Blackmange Cannon so that now you can keep your original Hero Power in addition to also having the cannon. Very good for Pirate decks since you want that weapon. The mana cost for the ability can be shown underneath the dormant cannon just like they do for Starships.
And with that, I am now hoping that my work on the set is finally complete!
Well, as soon a I finished modelling a friend's child played with the printer's height adjustment so I will need to calibrate it again. Might take a while till I have the time to do it properly :p . On other news, been back de Payday 3 and having much more fun than before while playing short 30 minutes bursts when I have the time.
About the hero list suggestion, I included my reasoning why I put those heroes in those tiers and also I'm saying that it is ultimately on each alliance to come up with their preferred list of joiner heroes based on what they think is right based on their experience and informed decision.
I know that Mia has been vocally advertised online and in most "rally leader hero" guides for years now, but I dont exactly agree with that. Simply based on my own experience. Im not saying she is bad at being used like that, but there are caveats to it and not just "Mia, any Star Level, and Widget level = good". No. But I dont actually list "Rally leader" heroes by generation on purpose, because this area is extremely subjective and reliant to a unique situation of every player and i really dont like the lists flying around online without and further explanation because it gives people a false sense of what they should do in their unique situation. Thats why I just try to explain what they should be looking out for and decide for themselves.
Similar with her being a good or bad joiner hero. The chance for the skill to trigger is a problem. You see it in a vacuum, and thats nice and all, but you should look at it from a real situation perspective.
While when she triggers, the damage boost is amazing, but when she doesnt, it is as if you used Charlie. And it might average out and in the end be on par with the S tier heroes, but that is the problem, how are you going to achieve that it does average in the end? You would have to have everyone using Mia, so that all rallies would be eventually averaged out, otherwise unlucky people could keep getting into a rally in which the skill didnt proc and others into rallies in which it did. So with that added RNG, I simply cannot recommend her as one of the best joiners because in my experience it is
a) difficult for everyone to join with her properly, and even if they did, they might still come as later joiner and her skill wouldnt matter and you would create "uneven" rallies for the purpose of averaging them all out,
and b) it just opens a can of worms of "if this RNG hero, why not this RNG hero?". It is already difficult enough for an average alliance to get their players to listen to the basic instructions, adding this "confusion/chaos/uncertainty" on top of it is not advisable,
and c) from my understanding (not personal testing), chance based skills do not stack as flat passives do. They might, at best, increase a chance of it triggering. So then you add another layer of complexity and the need to monitor every rally if only one Mia is being used for the joiner bonus because if two or more are, then your total damage will most likely be much lower.
But I am returning to what I said at the beginning - ultimately it is on every alliance to agree on a hero list based on their preferences and the ability to have their members follow that list or not.
Same goes for the reason behind A tier heroes - yes, they provide about 40% less bonus than S-tier heroes (15 vs 25), but that bonus is a flat increase without and RNG and that is still pretty good. And there is an added "bonus" that most players who are not spenders will not even have these heroes at 4-Star, meaning they will not have a Level 5 skill meaning they can be overwritten by a later joiner. If some of your whales have them at Level 5, you can just talk to them and ask them not to use them, if you dont agree with it. But better a 9-12% increase than nothing.
First, amazing guide! I link this to all my players who are interested. There is one part of this guide that I disagree with an makes a headache for me - because our hero joiner policy doesn't align with your suggestions.
Mia is an S class BT joiner hero. Statistically speaking she delivers 25% attack boosts. We 100% encourage our players to join with Mia. In later generations, maybe she could be pushed down to A class, once there enough flat attack boost heroes, but even then probability is probability; I'd still be okay with her displacing a flat attack hero.
Beyond that, the A class heroes should all be B class. I sure would be annoyed if someone displaced a 25% buff with a 15% buff. The current A class heroes shouldn't be used as joiners period, unless they're 0 star. Philly gets kicked from our rallies unless he isn't hitting top 4. However, we get pushback from our players saying 'the guide you provide lists Philly as A class'.
I really liked the game from the start when it was fresh and new and plenty to do. But sadly, the game model as built around a HUGE grind which I believe is the reason the game failed. There were probably other reasons, but surely this was one of them.
Maybe they build it with WOW nostalgia in mind and thought the oldschool grinders would love it, but i think they grossly miscalculated and this is the result. Sad, but oh well.
Unsurprising that his contract is not renewed, because microsoft is the kind of scum that would get rid of community managers that earn the trust and likability of its customer base.

Everything You Need To Know About Bear Hunt in Whiteout Survival
Hi, thanks for the kind words.

In my case, I started 3D printing so I have been focusing on that as a way of making some extra cash and enhancing some of my Tabletop Games.
Will probably try to finish Sparks of Hope and maybe start South Park, the fractured but whole.
Hopefully my printer stops needing supervision so I have more time to game
