I had this thought when I first saw Azerite Giant, and looking at Skarr has further reinforced the thought that I've probably been misinterpreting this wrong the whole time. There's no way that they'd make both of these cards this bad, right? I thought playing an Elemental on 8 turns in a row would be worthy of a Mecha'thun/DK Uther/Priest Questline card, not a vanilla 0 mana 8/8.
My thought is that maybe "each turn in a row you've played an Elemental" counts your highest streak rather than your current streak. Played an Elemental on turns 3, 4, and 5, but had to miss 6? Well, Skarr on 7 will still deal 4 damage minimum for the rest of the game instead of just being reset entirely. Interpreting it this way from the wording is plausible, but it's definitely not obvious if it's true. But I don't really know how else to view it because the cards would just seem unfathomably atrocious if it worked exactly as it reads.
My favourite game of all time. I don't expect anything to come from this aside from a Steam release, but there's a part of my soul that still has hope.
From my interpretation, I think it counts every sequential Elemental played throughout the game, not just each one before this card. Otherwise the peak of the card is basically a Star Aligner, and that's just not good enough. I think the team knows better than to print cards that crappy.
I'm new here, hello. How do I get in touch with your organization? Because I'm curious now and would like additional information. I'm looking for other student services. I enjoy https://edubirdie.com/pay-for-essays because it is the first one that I have found. I can learn from some of the best writers who have ever lived thanks to the high-quality assistance I get when I pay for essays. I value trustworthy research materials and help.
Playing League of Legends with my IRL friends helped save me from depression, but Heroes of the Storm was still probably the better game for me, in my opinion. With team-XP it wasn't as dependent on individual success, and the variety of the maps and whatnot made the game feel fresher longer. Couldn't get them into it, though, and I don't like to play these games "alone", so it was eventually uninstalled. It would be neat to see a resurgence of the game; maybe we can get the OOG team to group up! hehe
I have to assume based on the wording that you cannot skip a single turn playing an Elemental if you want Skarr's effect to remain relevant. Some have wondered "will it just pause the scaling?", and it sure doesn't read that way. And then they show a 9-drop Elemental at the same time; how does that help? You need a bunch of cheaper stuff to make sure you can always squeeze one in.
Maybe Synthesize would be better as a Shaman card.
I don’t know the last time I saw a Mine Rogue. I might have faced one last week, but he was dead before he could combo me, so I never saw a Mine hit the board. I have seen an increase in Waygate Mages though. I was super annoyed by Vexallis and the never ending Conjure Biscuits this one guy had. At that point just go play solitaire!
You're not getting Overloaded by this card hardly ever, is my guess. There are so many Elementals, including cheap ones, plus your ability to Discover them in a few different ways, this card will be really good.
That's potentially 16 healing if the circumstances are right. And he has enough health to survive 4 attacks, depending on targets, obviously. Some decks will want to run this for sure, but other Elemental decks will just Discover this and be happy they found it.
My first thought on looking at a card like this is whether you can use it for lethal. Yeah, in a long, control match-up where you play an elemental every turn for 20 turns or so, this might make lethal, but that's not happening often. On the other hand, just using this as a board clear with some face damage thrown in will still be pretty good. Elemental Shaman is looking better and better!
Team5 printed this solely to encourage players to play midrange elemental shaman, and also because we can already see the problem with that archetype: It gets destroyed by aggro.
This card plugs one of the few holes in that deck, very nicely too. Id imagine this card seeing play, but only in that deck. The overload is way too severe for any other deck to take it, unless the overload is entirely the reason to play this.
But again, you need to respect the lifesteal and this card has all the elements required to be good as a high cost card. Rush, lifesteal, and windfury.
Probably only seen in control, because in nearly all other archetypes its way too slow. But if ever there's a way to cheat it out it'll be completely insane.
Payoff for playing midrange elemental is good, because this card is excellent.
As to whether it can carry the whole archetype that's another question entirely. Because we can already see the main issue with this payoff. You need to consistently drop an elemental every turn, and in 2023 doing something like that usually will get you destroyed by aggro.
We'll have to see whether there's enough good elementals incoming to truly judge whether this thing can fly. From what Ive seen, its likely to end up like pirate rogue at the start of sunken city: Good enough, but falls flat very quickly as the meta develops.
It's our default description when they forget to include a URL on the official reveal schedule since typically, that's what happens when a URL is left blank. They haven't done a great job this reveal season with that schedule, so there have been a few "Blizzard Email" squares. This one ended up being for 4Gamer, a Japanese website.
For clarity, I've updated the last remaining "Blizzard Email" square to Unknown. We should probably change that as the no URL going forward since it's less annoying.

Hopefully I'm wrong, but that just seems like a generous interpretation of the text.

Five Must-Play Games: Full Metal Furies, Celeste, & More!
I have only played one* of these games, so it goes to show just how diverse our "Must Play" articles can be! :D
*Does "struggle through the tutorial area before being overwhelmed by choices and bailing" count? Then I've played DOS2.
New Shaman Minion - Walking Mountain
Lor'themar Theron has a new buddy
New Shaman Minion - Minecart Cruiser
A potential T2 4/5 Rush is going to get a lot of complaints... But totally worth playing as long as there are more elemental support cards around.

Hearthstone Shop Update - New Warrior Hero Skin & More Free Packs
Is it, though? Draining your gold reserves before a new expansion seems fairly devious.

I really like that you can buy more hero portraits for gold now, but man is it turning into a huge gold sink. Still worth it though.

So what exactly does it mean when the reveal happens by Blizzard Email? I've never gotten a reveal through there
