it depends on the meta which one is better i would argue since its a fast meta and for example aggro rogue is a top deck that has a lot of 1 health minions stealthed the skipper version might be better.skipper was a rly strong card before the expansion and it remains very strong.even in grandmasters everyones playing the skipper version even casey who came up with the nonskipper version even tho grandmasters decks are more control than aggro.
its a very powerful card and i wouldnt be surprised if it would get nerfed especially after pure paladin is on the rise again after falling off previously.however theres a new nonpure libram paladin on the rise with penflinger pyromancer even knife juggler that looks very promising possibly better than pure paladin at least in high legend that doesnt run braggart.
I believe ASol will have lvl up requirement of spending x amount of mana (or sth like that) on celestial card, much like heimer with turrets. ASol will be control shell for Targon region i think.
The only way i can picture a Mistwraith deck working is through Iceborn Legacy But since Iceborn Legacy is a slow card now, i would not get my hopes up to pull this combo off consistently.
Maybe to Iceborn Legacy? Here's what I've got so far, but I wonder if Ghost or Might might not just better splashes for their ability to squeeze in some last minute nexus damage.
Not sure how to proceed, but I'm more than happy to hand over my next turn to you if I correctly guess.
Nah it’s fine, I’ll pretend I passed my turn. For future reference though @R, the one who guesses the previous riddle is the one who formulates the new one unless they willingly give it to someone else or stay inactive for like, a week or something
Yeah, unfortunately I was probably right about Soraka’s support cards being in an expansion before her. But maybe that means Soraka has so many support cards that they couldn’t all fit in one expansion!
Interesting read - I just started a week ago and had the same Idea in regard of the Undying. So far it works well for me through different stages - but there is room for some changes because I am lacking some cards like Ruination which I have to collect yet. But in generall it is fun to play if the mulligan and the pressure of this deck works for you.
Greatest opponent so far are all the Freljord decks with massive freeze abuse
Have a look - and thanks for the content. I maybe have a try with the Bilgewater cards.
Your decklist brings back fond memories of when I was starting out and looking for clever ways to fill holes in my collection. :-)
If you're running SI + Ionia ephemerals, you definitely want to try to incorporate 3x Death Mark -- that's such a strong tempo play, especially if you combo with a Darkwater Scourge. ...Honestly, for this particular decklist you might want to try just dropping The Undying to just focus on ephemeral synergies; combo decks get inconsistent if they are trying to incorporate too many different elements. For reference, here's a very similar deck from user Checkct--he uses Kalista for her L2 ability to spawn scourges and The Rekindler, but Zed should be a fine alternative.
I feel Risen Mists is just a bit too expensive for what it does. Sure, it is a good adition to Mistwraith concept but i am afraid it won't make it much better unless it gets more support.

So, it's a fancy Discover effect? Very hard to judge at this point without knowing the full set of Celestial cards, though the flexibility of Discover in Hearthstone makes it a pretty good effect. I like the parallels between of Lunari Priestess and Solari Priestess - that's a nice touch.
Playing Kingsbane Rogue I discovered that Secret Passage will cause Shadow Reflection from Valeera the Hollow to not leave your hand at the end of your turn. Furthermore the Shadow Reflections becomes a reflection of Secret Passage. I think it is because the Shadow Reflection returns from the ‘passage’ after your turn ends so the hero power doesn’t remove it at the end of your turn.
This gives you an extra shadow reflection next turn OR infinite secret passages (one every turn if Its the first card you play each turn).
No idea if this is of any use in some weird combo deck? Probably not but it’s a weird interaction anyway
The Reptari tried to make their way into Un’Goro, and had even gained a small foothold in the outskirts of the crater! But then, a lone Tortollan stood up and shouted, “OUT OF MY JUNGLE!!!” HIs bravery inspired his kin to push back and expel the Reptari invasion.
I was playing a mirror match against a Bomb Warrior, and we were hitting each other in the face all game long. That is, until he played a Blastmaster Boom and filled his board with boom bots. Well, I had no other choice but to play my own Boom, play Whirlwind, and BRING ON THE BOMBS! Mwahahaha
(I won, by the way. My Blastmaster Boom absorbed most of the bomb damage lol)
I dunno, I think 1 mana cheaper than Scarmaiden is pretty nice. I think everyone's really overestimating the challenge inherent in Behold.
All you're doing by keeping an 8-cost card in your mulligan is accepting the likelihood of early-game tempo loss. It's not the end of the world. There are all kinds of slow decks with little to no early-game tempo, and they do just fine. Sacrificing early tempo for future value is a time-honored, successful strategy in CCGs. Have you noticed that they put Behold in the region with some of the best mitigation and AOE damage? Maybe there's a reason for that.
If you evaluate every card as if it's going into a perfect curve tempo deck, you're basically ignoring half the game. Not to mention, having a critical mass of Regeneration (Troll Ravager AND Scarmaiden Reaver AND whatever else) will be utterly back-breaking for any opponent who's not running The Ruination.
I don't want to entirely count out the Behold mechanic, but not even the best control decks in LoR have been able to run more than about six 8+ cost cards. Troll Ravager is right on the borderline where that many triggers is enough to make him work most of the time, but the early game Behold synergies are going to be inconsistent. If you throw Trundle into the mix, you can boost that effectiveness for synergies starting around turn 6 or 7, but if you're up against a serious aggro deck that might be too late for a 3/5 with Regeneration to mitigate enough damage to win you the game.
I would argue that the Freljord has actually been surprisingly weak when it comes to low-tempo early game strategies. Many of the best cards in the region are burst speed buffs, so fighting for the board with early game tempo is actually pretty important and the region looks a lot more like a midrange region with some random ramp tools than it does a control region. I think that's a big part of why it has only recently emerged as powerful - much of the metagame for months was dominated by serious control and aggro decks, and the midrange content in the Freljord was outclassed. To the extent that it saw play in control and combo decks (e.g. They Who Endure Spiders, Ezreal OTK), Freljord was a bit player, not the star.
Maybe that changes here - like I said, Troll Ravager is right on the borderline of reasonable, and the critical mass of Regeneration in this set may make it easy for the Freljord to get value out of units over multiple turns and last into the late game. But so far, I think the region has had a very midrange "fair fight" vibe to it that makes losing the early game an automatic loss.
