I remember being in the spot you are in. The only solution is a long term goal of spending actual money on this game AND shrewd dust management. After years of being a player that was always stressing about dust every time I needed something I now sit on a healthy dragon’s hoard of around 12,000 and have no fear for anything I need.
I stay shrewd though. If anything gets nerfed I dust it regardless. My golden Queen Alex... dusted. If I ever need to use it again I can decide which one I want. I had my fun. Any card that I am currently not using same thing. I dust my last two copies. I can buy them again
As for hitting that button I have to say HELL FCKIN NO. Disenchant manually. It’s a chore but I’ve had it before that the nerf rounds catch me by surprise and I got whallopped on dust refund. Never dust anything that possibly could be nerfed. Dust garbage cards only.
Remember, everyone: they are showing a proclivity to nerf cards more regularly now. Don’t be that guy that hit the button dusting 12 copies of a rare that would’ve yielded you so much more if you just had some patience
Would see play for the statline + Spell Damage alone, but I eagerly await whatever silly combo 1 mana Spell Damage enables. Don't know that it'll ever be oppressive in Standard, and Wild has much better stuff, but I like it anyway.
I also have a hard time stopping myself from using my dust. I usually don't regret crafting stuff but that's certainly not the best way to use your resources. This time i'll be a lot more careful because i can already see lots of nerfs happening. I'll have to play only with what i got from the packs and so far it's only disappointing cards for me. I haven't seen any cards that i can consider a must craft for the archetypes that i want to play so it's smarter to wait.
This does so much for both Priest and Warlock. It helps with their health change theme, helps Warlock with any damage cards, helps Priest damage themselves to then be able to heal up, and lets you get back two minions - they could even be Flesh Giants that cost (0) by that point!
I haven't spent any money on HS since beta when they gave you a golden Mekkatorque for testing out the shop by buying something. This bundle is tempting. Two legendaries... would be a real nice start on the set.
Another classic custom hearthstone mechanic finally realised in-game.
Obviously amazing for any deck that runs a good amount of damaging spells, but I don't know that you start running, say, Rapid Fire just because you have Slate unless you were already going to be running it.
Bells are going off in my head screaming this is the next Priestess of Fury, but I don't think Troublemaker has the same class context as Priestess. First, Warrior already has a great 8 mana play to finish the game with Grommash Hellscream. Second, DH has Raging Felscreamer to curve into a cheated-out Priestess; Warrior can't cheat Troublemaker out that effectively. I think Troublemaker will make more sense once to Enrage package with Risky Skipper, Bomb Wrangler, and Bloodsworn Mercenary rotate out, but I don't think it has the right context to see play in Scholomance.
I'm gonna call it random 5-drop pool nerfing garbage... but I'm always secretly worried that an effect like this will finally be good. Demon Hunter and Hunter both have ways to generate many tokens to feed this, after all.
I think it's adorable that the tokens are all anagrams of the original Animal Companions. Card's incredibly strong, too, so we'll be seeing them a fair bit.
Huh, so I guess that’s why the shop said it had something new in it even though nothing new actually appeared in it. Kind of weird that it still did that though
Lab Partner almost feels like pre-nerf Mana Wyrm: a 1 mana 1/3 that provides 1 extra damage for each spell cast, but the comparison isn't that clear cut. Lab Partner adds the damage to the spells (and only damaging spells at that) while Mana Wyrm adds the damage to itself. I think pre-nerf Wyrm is better as it contests the board much better than Partner. That being said, I still think Partner makes sense in a Tempo Mage deck, but that deck seems inconsistent going into Scholomance.
I think there aren't enough competitive tempo-based deathrattle minions going into Scholomance, but this is a 6/6 on turn 5 that has 2 good deathrattles most of the time. This will be a staple in any tempo deathrattle deck should that arise, I just think it's going to happen in a later expansion.
OH! SHINY! A crafting conundrum

New Hunter Minion - Professor Slate
This is probably my favorite card of the expansion. just so many cool things that can come out of it and in the future.
New Mage Minion - Lab Partner

New Neutral Minion - Animated Broomstick
Ah, I miss when this was Fluffy. This'll see play in Zoo and Token probably, but that's about it.
New Demon Hunter & Hunter Minion - Blood Herald
I'm gonna call it random 5-drop pool nerfing garbage... but I'm always secretly worried that an effect like this will finally be good. Demon Hunter and Hunter both have ways to generate many tokens to feed this, after all.
But no. It's garbage. Surely.
