In general: the champions' Level Up effects are instantaneous--i.e., "faster than burst". A good example of this is the Jinx + Rummage combo: if I have 4 cards in hand including the aforementioned, I can play Jinx, then at any time I can play the Rummage spell at burst speed. Even though the latter action will end with me having 2 cards in hand, because there was an instant halfway through the spell where I had 0, Jinx flips. Other significant Level Ups including Darius, Teemo, Lucian, and Thresh.
Side note: I'm still not convinced that the above is a good combo, as Rummage is unplayable without at least 2 other cards in hand so there are a lot of times when its a super awkward topdeck (i.e., when your Jinx is already flipped and you just want to burn your entire hand every turn), but I have 3 Jinx right now and not a lot of other support cards so I'm running it.
There is no evidence this is currently implemented for Hearthstone. But "differentiated gaming experiences" has me worried in what way they want game experiences to be different, especially when it comes right after "curated recommendations for in-game offers".
I mean everyone call it "confirmation bias" but it's literally impossible that I find it only on HS and not in Magic arena, Runeterra, ESL, Shadowverse where drawing and random are not that "precise"
well, actually that would make a lot of sense, but not in the way of "reward".
If the system understood that you are willing to invest money, they could also use it to trigger you buying that one pack more, bc you are missing dust/that specific card etc.
Climbing almost legend, but then....too bad you didnt make it. You might be buying new packs to get that new deck to counter what you lost against those last matches.
1. She Who Wanders only obliterates followers, not champions
Dammit, this has tripped me up several times already. I really should remember by now that it doesn't affect champions.
Do you remember what the last card was? Maybe it was another Jinx. :p
That actually sounds like a plausible explanation. Either that or my 10% margin of error might have gotten the best of me and my opponent actually played their final card during combat. But as I said, I'm pretty sure I remember Jinx being killed, battle animation and all.
I think so too. So we have 6 cards that change your spell power (2x Clockwork Automaton, 2x Daring Fire-Eater and 2x Arcane Amplifier) . Obviously when they all cost 1 mana and are in your hand you have a lethal turn.
A number of possibilities:
Both automatons are 1 mana: (1+1+1+1+3+2 = 28 dmg)
1 Automaton is 1 mana and 1 Amplifier: (1+5+1+1+2 = 20 dmg)
Add the possibility to use Elemental Evocation or Galvanizer and we have some serious chances of getting an OTK or TTK.
Without galaxy and just collecting cards we can get to 18 dmg for 9 mana. That is better than a pyroblast, and also better than 2 fireballs and a frostbolt (=15 dmg for 10 mana). Using Galvanizer twice, and the two Elemental Evocation we again have 20dmg for (3+3+1+1+2)=10 mana, and a board.
But apart from this it can also be useful in other decks, just as Azure Explorer. Most reno decks use it because of the dragon / discover traits, but the spell power can also be used. I like the versatility here.
OMG. Another thing Google is gonna spoil. Google is a shitty company overall. Everything it touches, becomes tracking, advertisement, abuse and violations of human privacy. Sad times for Blizzard esports.
As some of you remember, War of the Dark was a brilliant April 1st joke inspired by recent MTG set.
I want to notice that some of the predictions turned out to be not far from truth.
We actually got a large number of Hero Cards: total of 16 if we count different Galakrond forms.
Also it seems that in the final chapter of Galakrond's awakening both League of Explorers and League of EVIL have to battle with Galakround. This counts as "two teams banding together" to fight elder "destructive power".
Yeah, I know it's a huge stretch. But anyway kudos to our fluffy prophets.
I don't normally bother to try and climb too high (If I get to 10 I usually stop), but I've had a surprising amount of success with my Wild Overload Shaman so am currently sitting at rank 12 - might try to push to 10 but pretty pleased with how it's turned out this month.
... and now comes the hard part in figuring out how this would work mechanically ;).
I'm not a fan of the idea, personally. An extra mode with more players in a CCG inevitably messes with balancing and all kinds of rule-related questions.
Plus, as in any game with matchmaking, it divides the playerbase. This may not be much of an issue if we can trust Legends of Runeterra to thrive (which I do), but ideally, I'd rather have as many players as possible in the queue for the main gameplay mode so we can get matched even better with similarly skilled opponents and minimum waiting times.
Don't get me wrong, it's not that I think it wouldn't be fun. But I do think the cons outweigh the pros in this case.
As someone who played a lot of WC3, I don't think I'm picking this one up. For "direct remake with no real updates/changes beyond graphics," the game has to be something I can't currently play and I can still play the original WC3 just fine when I get the odd compulsion to do so.
[Game] Card Treasure Hunt (The Resurrection Attempt)
Wrong guess, though most of your reasoning is correct.

Hey, good news everyone: you can flip a table in real life, you don't need VR for it!
Out of Cards Reviews - Galakrond's Awakening #3
The irony in The Fist of Ra-den is that Shaman is the class that splits the cost of spells with Overload, hence diminishing the power of the weapon.
Non-Overload spells are typically too cheap or board wipes, suggesting that only a Control Shaman can make the most of the weapon.
At least, with the current spell pool.
anyone hyped for the wc3 remaster?
They won't add specific (side) missions for Silvanas and/or Jaina, as far as I remember.
Don't know, where I got that info though.
anyone hyped for the wc3 remaster?
Huge WC3 fan here. Together with WoW, it's the reason why i still play HS.
However, as appealing as Reforged looks, it is indeed just appearence.
Not enough for me.
New Shaman Weapon - The Fist of Ra-den
I like to point out that you can do something the turn its played, attack for 1. This could mean removing some big threat on the board.
[Game] Card Treasure Hunt (The Resurrection Attempt)
This is tricky because if my reasoning is right there's about 3-5 cards this might potentiality be. I'll start with Scion of Ruin?
Line 1 - descent (as opposed to descend) mean from DoD + wings = dragon or other flying minion
Line 2 - one and many meaning one card that generates multiple copies
Line 3 - again being dragon, plus Scion (or other red dragon) appears in Molten Breath
Line 4 - must clear or Dragon Breeder(s) can produce a ton more.
anyone hyped for the wc3 remaster?
Can I ask where you found that information? A quick Google search gave me nothing.
At any rate, I will still be buying Warcraft III: Reforged. WC3 is one of my favorite games, and my original discs do not work anymore.

Seems a little bit slow but for sure it will bring us some funny Trolden moments.

Your standard ladder climb (January 2020)
I find the number of rogues on ladder a bit too high atm so I have switched to casual to try out some elemental stuff using the new mage card.
