I'm having an absolute blast with the game, but I've avoided deck recipes like the plague. I want to really discover something new like when I was playing HS for the first time. I've basically crafted only one main deck for Ranked Play so far. Unless I'm crazy, "Rally" seems to be an absolutely broken keyword and that's what I've designed my deck around with Demacia/Iona regions. It's working great so far. I have such a bank of dust and gold in HS that I was sort of annoyed that I couldn't craft a Champion that I wanted. But that frustration also reminded me of playing HS for the first time and building out slowly. I'm not ready to start just dropping money on WildCards, and that feels right.

According to WoWpedia, Ra-Den refers to Highkeeper Ra, the titanic watcher boss summoned from Mogu Cultists. In the Mogu language, it means "Master Ra".

They are both thunder/electricity-related, so it could double as a reference to Raiden.

Is Ra-Den an actual character in Wow's lore or is that a subtle reference to Raiden from Mortal Kombat?

Yeah, I really like that feature too. The art is beautiful!

I really love that you can look at the full card art in the game when you click on the eye at the bottom after a right click on a card. It's so pretty stuff!

you don't get any token for completing first token. I just meant that instead of spending 3000 shards to a champion card, just go in expedition. It also costs 3000 shard and 1 champion card is guaranteed. So, Expedition will give you 1 Champion + more. Well you might want to craft target champion instead of a random one but I don't think this is necessary in this game. Wildcards already are doing that.

Sidenote: I have to say, as much as I like the gameplay, I have been disappointed so far at the amount of deckbuilding options for my F2P / 3 hours a day approach.  I didn't expect to get as much as paying players and/or hardcore players, but I was hoping to have more options for budget construction at this point.  Hopefully that will change Tuesday.  :-)

Yeah tuesdays are so important. Also I was just lucky with 2x Katarina, got 1x from noxus capsule and 1x from expedition.

For 2/2/2 champions, some of them don't really be x3 in the deck. Katarina and Darius are examples. You can't even play 3x Darius in a game, even against control. 3x Darius would be a waste of deck slot. Same with Katarina. She already bounces back to your hand after every attack, She doesn't even die while attacking a 30/30. Reason of x2 copies are for only draw chances because normally x1 would be enough.

You can decide which champion is like that by looking their effect. You would like to have probably x3 of Ezreal or x3 Fiora but Tryndamere for example is not a x3 champion in my opinion.

I am struggling only against aggro paladin ... 

maybe more aoe or auspice un the deck?

My initial response was: "just copy existing MtG formats like Two Headed Giant and/or Emperor".  The more I thought about it, though, the less I like this because:

• From a software prospective, its a huge ask.  Maybe as a new feature they introduce ~1 year into the game to reinvigorate fans, but for now I think it's better to focus on launch.
• Along the lines of the above: it will be extremely painful both on mobile, both in terms of for Riot to implement and for players to play.  I really want LoR to rush deploying mobile; its my preferred platform but also I think it's a huge asset that will boost the playerbase and therefore the game's success--especially when the only other significant CCG on mobile is HS.  MtG Arena and Artifact were fools to leave this untapped IMO.
• "Just copying" is usually bad.  The things I love about this game are novel things it does differently than HS and MtG, so if they did do a multiplayer version I'd want them to take a whack at something novel there too.
• The things I've enjoyed about 2HG and Emperor have been the camaraderie with the other players, but its really hard to bond when there is no in-game communication other than emotes.  If this mode is just strangers e-grunting at me, and each round now takes 2x to 3x longer, I don't think I'd enjoy it at all.

Also not sure that for 9-mana the extra 7/6 is that valuable. You wanna play this early and for tempo.

True, 7-drops aren't that good, but imagine playing avalanche on 7, trading one of the avalanches next turn with some hp still remaining and conjuring it, which is still a powerful play. It's not easy to remove both of them, whereas a single mountain giant waiting to be conjured is arguably easier to remove. Giants can come earlier, but the avalanches can still be played as early as turn 5 with elemental evocation. It's probably not the first thing you want to do with this card, but it's interesting to consider when experimenting with an elemental mage build.

That's what I figured - so guess #2 on the same reasoning would be Waxadred.
