Hearthstone is a game, and as a Game Designer I know that the game must be fun for anyone involved.
So, even if something is not above "50%" winrate but makes the player experience bad it will/should be changed.
At least that what the designers should do.
The issue with that comes in the form of the cliche "Fun is subjective" statement.
You will never be able to ever make a card or deck that everyone likes playing against.
You also have to consider which players are actually not liking to play against any card/deck (I'm not just talking about the standard format DoD meta) vs those that are ambivalent vs those that like playing against them.
Lastly, where do you draw the line in the stand that disallows just any 'Not fun complaint' to get chucked at a card/deck/class? I for one really really dislike how overly saturated the priest class is with removal options, as well as dislike how disgusting warlock can get with every other expansion when getting some super value generation machine. Does that mean that just because I dislike those two things that I am entitled for them to get nerfed simply because I don't consider them fun?
I have played this once. I have had it played against me 7 times. All 8 times it targeted the minion on one end (left or right) and went into the next minion adjacent. Not once has it looked random and gone to the open end of the board.
Anyone see it go the "wrong" way?
If you target a minion on one end, it can jump only to the only one next minion, then next etc.etc. It does not jump randomly.
I’m already bored of this expansion. I either play 5 Shamans in a row or GaLaKrOnD decks from other classes. I hate when they base expansion after a card and then everyone plays nothing but that, just like with C’Thun and Old Gods expansion.
The Shaman decks also lose to Zoolocks. The Invoke cards having the ol' Odd Paladin effect in Warlock generating two 1/1 imps can help push damage quick. I haven't played a lot of Zoolock just yet, but I've beat every Shaman I faced with the deck. Doesn't mean Shaman doesn't need balance, but it's another option if you're finding nothing but Shaman opponents.
Considering that they buff cards when they want to refresh the meta, and that we already have a (possible) meta-refresher coming in January in the form of the single player content (which, much like the old adventures, will award you with a total of 35 or so new cards), I wouldn't expect buffs before late February/March, if at all.
I'm betting we get a hero card for all the "good" classes in the adventure

I'm pretty sure as long as you target a minion o nthe far left or right, there is no randomness involved. That only comes into play if you target a minion that is between two others
There are a few more cases where technically a card could fall into multiple of the current tribes. Chromaggus should be a dragon and a beast I believe, since he’s a core hound with dragon dna. Skyfin could probably be similar. If they ever implemented an undead tribe there’d be a good amount of crossover between the other tribes already, a plant tribe could have a bit of crossover as well. As with demons, something could become part demon I believe, like Illidan. Largely the reason why there isn’t much crossover is because they’re specifically trying to avoid it I think.
One way they could do it for the tag would be to have each one have a 2-3 letter way of shortening it, like Bst, Dmn, Mrl, etc. That’d definitely give enough room for two (maybe even three) tags to fit on a card

Each set have their lots of broken cards that see too much play until adjusted by Blizz in the following weeks of a release. This one is simply the Corridor Creeper of its expansion, if you will.
It's the most broken and clearly in need of a nerf deck i've ever seen personally since i've started playing in witchwood. I'm curious if any other deck thats been nerfed in hearthstones history is more clearly erroneous out the gate than this. I seriously question their playtesting team that thought this was fine.
I don't think we would really need anything like this, I mean how could something be both a demon, and a murloc, except for the fact that we have pirates. Pirate is not a species, it is a career (kinda). Though even if we don't need it I still really want something like this in the game, it would make deck building do much more interesting and it would really help tribal decks to get better, it could also make multi-tribe decks possible, which would be insane.
Do we need this? Not really, except for maybe a few cases with pirates.
Do I want this? Yes. very much.
Will we get this? Probably not, at least not until there is a nice way to fit that into the tribe box. Maybe at some point the devs will do some work to change how the cards are laid out to make some more room for the tribal tag. But that probably won't be for a while.
Your post is a bit hard to read to a big add covering half the screen for me (I tried on multiple engines).
Yes. I made a thread about these ads in the middle of posts, but it got lost in the sands of time. Flux said he would try and fix them but that hasn't happened yet.
I'm surprised that you don't have Stowaway in this deck given all your shuffles. Also, I found that Waxadred is sometimes too slow for the incredibly fast decks like Token Druid or Zoolock, so some teching may be required.
The whole problem is that it's only been 3 fucking days. Within 3 days, one deck has become so unbelievably strong that it has plagued over 50% of the current standard ladder, and the number is increasing. Even in mirrors, it's no longer about who can outplay the other player, it's about who can Invoke the fastest and play Galakrond first. There is no actual playmaking skill, it's "draw your deck, play Galakrond and hope your opponent doesn't". This is why combo decks are universally hated as well; they have no gameplan other than to survive long enough to play their combo to kill you, while you have no input in the matter. Control decks can be played around since they need to kill you as well, and therefore they cannot afford to run absolutely every removal tool. Combo decks, on the other hand, are able to do so, and as such have less outplay opportunities.
And besides, what's wrong with net decking? The whole point of the game is to win games to rank up; if it wasn't then Blizzard would give you stars for losing as well. If this is the case, then why shouldn't people net deck? It's simple logic: there's a strong deck, another deck rises that can beat the previous strong deck, people start playing that new deck because it beat the once-popular deck, now that's the strongest deck. While any deck has it's weaknesses and worst matchups (except for Galakrond Shaman), if those counter decks get smashed by other decks, there's no incentive to play it for the one favourable matchup, even if that matchup makes up over 50% of the ladder. This is the lifecycle of any game with a meta, not just Hearthstone, and if you can't grasp that basic concept, maybe you should take a step back from making sweeping statements and learn common sense. Galakrond Shaman is so unbelievably busted that their popularity as skyrocketed far and beyond what other decks can do to keep it in check.
People aren't complaining because their decks are losing to Galakrond Shaman, they're complaining because the ladder has been overrun with the same deck a million times over. The last time the ladder was so plagued was during Year of the Mammoth with Razakus Priest, but even that had decks which countered it. Galakrond Shaman creates an environment that is not fun and doesn't incentivise people to play. There is no longer any skill based on learning a deck to learn how to play the counter matchups, it has become a game of who can play what first. Not only is this a problem for the community, but this is also a problem for Blizzard. If people stop playing because the standard ladder is so plagued and the wild ladder isn't much better, people will shift over to Battlegrounds or quit the game entirely, both of which reduce the company's profits. This is the best move to appease the community and keep their revenue intact.
I like those nerfs but [Hearthstone Card (Galakrond, the Tempest) Not Found] summoning 6/6s instead of 8/8s breaks the Battlecry effect x1 - x2 - x4 of the five Galakronds and I'm not sure Team 5 is willing to make that change.
This is fairly common in custom cards, but there are a few problems that affect this idea. Namely, there's what CursedParrot said about how there's very little space on the tribal tag on any card. Just "Elemental" by itself already takes up pretty much the entire space it has. This same thing also affects some preceding cards though, namely the fact that Patches would be a "Demon/Pirate", the phoenixes could be classified as "Beast/Elemental" (if the tribes were to go in alphabetical order) potentially (as could Arcanosaur). If Captain Cookie were to ever make it into the game, he'd most likely be tagged as a "Murloc/Pirate". I do believe that Team 5 has probably experimented with this idea multiple times, but for right now, the Amalgams are a very easy way of accomplishing the same base purpose.
I do believe that adding or taking away tribes will become a thing at some point, as once again, I think Team 5 has most likely tried it in some capacity at this point. I'm not sure what the biggest problem with it is though other than just possibly "awkward implementation" and the requirement of tribal synergy to be prominent in order to work.
I have a feeling Dragon Mage will be a viable deck post-Shaman nerfs. The most likely variant is probably going to Highlander due to Dragonqueen Alexstrasza, Reno the Relicologist and Zephrys the Great being phenomenal cards. However, just to test the waters, I'm going with a good old Conjuror Dragon Mage. Here is my version:

Not running Mogu Fleshshaper with either Mutate or Evolve seems like a mistake currently. But maybe that will change with the nerfs next week.
