  • Hearthstone - Omnislash Update

Omnislash has been around for several years creating content for Hearthstone with streamers like Kibler, Firebat, and Zalae, among others, but they've decided to shift gears.

To better focus our efforts, we are transitioning away from content creation and streamer representation, and will be committing all of our efforts to a data platform for players of all types.

For now they are going to be focusing on data tools for gamers/streamers. It's sad to see them go, but I'm interested to see what they create for us.

  • Mutliple tribes card

I think the best way to go about it is to create a card (or a few of them) in an expansion where it makes sense thematically and do something like this:

It would keep the design clean (ish) and wouldnt take up much of the card's text space, leaving room for some options.

  • Legends of Runeterra - When is Beta Gonna Be Here?

One Reddit user, MysteryMTR, commented on how slow Riot has been with any information about the dates for closed beta for LoR and a couple of Devs popped up to comment. They don't give us anything definite, but at least we know they're working hard on getting it ready as soon as possible! [source]

This is a good point, and from the outside I can imagine this being confusing or frustrating.

Underlying everything we communicate is the principle that we don't want to promise anything that we won't be able to deliver on. I think we've all experienced that as players, and Riot also has had to learn that lesson as developers.

As we're finishing our core game features for Launch, we also have to develop the capabilities to release those at quality, at scale, reliably and consistently. As more of the game is complete, we'll be able to more confidently predict when we'll have releases ready for players. But until then we're mostly just comfortable with the types of broad strokes that you've seen in our roadmap.

Exact dates WILL come, but we're not quite ready to announce anything yet.

I'm not going to confirm dates for you but I will say we are here, watching, reading, and working hard to make sure you can play your hearts out. We get happy every time we see players asking to play more. There's a lot of work to do to make sure we do well for even more players. Alas I will leave you with a "Soon ™"!

  • Clear the Way doesn't work with Swarm of Locusts

    Quote From Ushinomimi

And you know other quests that summon minions on board? Just checked with "Learn Draconic" with Unexpected Results Card Image and it work in the same way , if you have no board space dragon dissapears, can't check "Toxic Reinforcements" as i don't have them, but i suspect they work the same way too.

that's not the same, because the the quest completes after the spell has finished (because the mana only counts as spent after the spell resolves)

the actual Hunter Quest works this way to the point where it will interrupt an ongoing Unleash the HOunds to give you the hero power upgrade and only resolving afterwards. There is absolutely no reason why a different quest with essentially the same requirement doesn't.

I just love the LOL/LOR art. They certainly have a shot at this, cause art and lore/universe is half the battle, look at HS. Gimme more!

  • Eternal - Promises By Firelight Spoilers Dec. 14

We have a couple of new spoilers for the new Eternal expansion, Promises by Firelight. One from late last night and the other from just a few minutes ago. Both revealed by Scarlatch via Discord.

  • Hearthstone Balance Changes Confirmed For Next Week

I mean, Faceless needs another minion to clone itself and don't have the Choose One versatility so a nerf to a 4/3 seems fair to me. And class card only adds a point to the "design pool".

  • Quest Trading - Play A Friend!

    DONE

  • Dragon Mage

The greed is strong in this archetype

  • Clear the Way doesn't work with Swarm of Locusts

    Quote From Ushinomimi

Well, just checked and it worked as intended. Swarm completed the sidequest and wasted it because there's no place on board for 4/4. Don't know what you are talking about.

except that is literally  not how any other quest in the game works. All quests (so far) interrupt the current action on completion to ive their reward, which means that so should Clear the way...but for no reason at all it doesn't...because the game devs probably can't even write their own name consistently.

  • Eternal - Promises By Firelight Spoilers Dec. 13

The Zealous Artisan looks like a solid card to me since it can play a good weapon from your hand on the same turn. The problem is that it doesn't fit most of the Oni decks since most of them are agro.  It might see some play in some general (and slower) Rakano decks.  I sorta wish that he was 4 cost instead of 5.  Oni need something a bit more "unfair" to compete with other decks in Throne and Expedition formats.

Sunset Stone is a great card for Elves. I just wish that the card was Feln instead of Xenan since there are only a few elves in Time and most of the Elf synergy are in Feln (as well as some of the stronger and playable elves are in Feln).

  • Hearthstone Balance Changes Confirmed For Next Week

It should be much worse than Oasis Surger because Oasis Surger is a class card

  • Hearthstone Balance Changes Confirmed For Next Week

Corridor Creeper is a very apt comparison - they need to nerf Faceless Corruptor out of existence they way they did Corridor Creeper

  • Hearthstone Balance Changes Confirmed For Next Week

The data doesn't bear this claim out - Pirate Warrior and Galakrond Warrior both have over 50% winrates on HSReplay, but against Shaman they're both around 44% winrates. I don't mean to say that your described experience with aggro vs. Galakrond Shaman is dishonest, but in aggregate most people trying what you're saying aren't having that level of success because Shaman has so many rush minions and so much reload potential.

  • Eternal - Balance Changes 12/4

Interesting enough, the Torch change really changed the meta a lot since so much decks relied on it.  HotV deserved the nerf. It was a very powerful and overused card (and some decks still use it even after the nerf but not as much).  Desecrate seems stronger being fast but not everyone runs that card anymore.

Overall, those balance changes had much more impact then the previous that they did a week earlier.

  • Clear the Way doesn't work with Swarm of Locusts

Yeah got dissapointed by that as well, hope it gets fixed next week as well..

Quests complete mid interaction, usually trigger, they need to add an a exception for this quest.

  • Clear the Way doesn't work with Swarm of Locusts

yeah its pretty stupid because [Hearthstone Card (Clear the way is activated) Not Found] but you don't keep the griphons because you have 7 minions from the locust

  • Clear the Way doesn't work with Swarm of Locusts

    Now THAT is disappointing

  • Descent of Dragons Treant Token druid

Great budget deck! Didn't have 2 Anubisath Defenders, so just took a second dendrologist - still works nice!

    Thank you!

  • Hearthstone Balance Changes Confirmed For Next Week

    What is the side-note?

    Take my wife, please.

  • Clear the Way doesn't work with Swarm of Locusts

because this game is designed by idiots

  • Dragon Mage

I've played with this deck since Day1 and it was seccess and fun to play with, but ther are too many shamans in ladder recently. Anyway you are free to try it
