DoD - Wild Deathrattle 38+ Damage OTK Hunter
- Deathrattle Hunter
- Wild
- Ranked
Deathrattle Mech Hunter with potential OTK combo! I will update the list as it is getting refined.
Combo:
There are multiple combo options throughout the game. There's another OTK involving Boommaster Flark for example. This OTK should NOT be your main game plan. But, should the opportunity present itself (especially vs. Control), these are your pieces.
- Requires 1 tick from Emperor Thaurissan on the following cards:
- 2x - Feign Death
- 1x - Necromechanic
- 1x - Spiritsinger Umbra
- Toxic Reinforcements active at 2/3 Hero Power uses
- 10 Mana
- Play 3 mana Necromechanic
- Play 3 mana Spiritsinger Umbra
- Hero Power for 2 mana
- +2 damage
- Toxic Reinforcements completes
- Summons 3x Leper Gnomes
- 2x deathrattle at summon from Spiritsinger Umbra and Necromechanic
- +12 damage
- Play 1 mana Feign Death
- 2x deathrattle from Necromechanic
- +12 damage
- 2x deathrattle from Necromechanic
- Play 1 mana Feign Death
- 2x deathrattle from Necromechanic
- +12 damage
- 2x deathrattle from Necromechanic
- 2+12+12+12 = 38 damage
Possible Changes:
Deck is currently a work in progress. Here's some possible changes/tech options I'm considering.
Play this guy the turn before your combo vs a high armor control deck. Useful tech if you're running into a lot of Warriors or Druids. 1400+ armor Druid? Buh-bye!
If Aluneth Mage continues to be a major part of the meta (I'm predicting it will), either of these will need to find a home in the deck.
Never underestimate the power of Tracking
If I decide to take the deck in a more Combo focused direction, I might play around with adding in this oft-forgotten card as a means of drawing our Toxic Reinforcements and Feign Death. Just an idea. Maybe I'll make a completely different set list focused around trying to complete the OTK as soon as possible. Hmm... Well I made a deck based on this idea. It's messy, but could have some good meme potential. OTK Hunter Theorycraft
This bad boi paired with Venomizer is a powerful combo that could be extremely helpful to our game plan. Will definitely be tested.
We are running lots of deathrattle, so this card could easily find a home in the deck. I personally don't think it fits in the game plan I am trying to create at this time. But this could easily change. This card can give you additional value, card draw (Ursatron), removal (Spider Bomb), or just additional face damage. And don't forget the potential to pair with Necromechanic! The more I think about it, the more I'm wanting to find a spot for this, even just as a 1-off.

Nice list - thanks for sharing +1
I have gone 15-3 with this on ladder. Thank you for posting this.
after banging my head against the wall in standard trying to find some fun against shaman, this has been a welcome breath of fresh air
Basically strolled my way up from ranks 16-10 in two days of minimal playtime with this deck.
Running a tempo deck with a hidden OTK seems to be, uh... good.
Still struggles with heavy control that can develop a board to pressure you and knows to kill all mechs while maintaining their health pool, but good mulligan/draws with this deck tend to overcome most problems. Another big problem I've faced: board development that heals (like quest shaman discovering Jinyu Waterspeaker... twice).
Hard to get to an OTK when you're fighting just to stay alive, but so it goes.
This has convinced me to finally craft Umbra... Thank you
Reminds me a lot of ChumpHS's N'zoth bomb hunter(1 and 2)(deck code: PUCufgCvPwCiYAD8pYD5KQD86cDAA==)
I am wondering why you aren't running Nine Lives, just thought i'd ask, it wasn't mentioned with the guide either, and since you can play Necromechanic -> Nine Lives and double dip on the deathrattle of something that was already dead, you'd think it would be good in a deck like this, but idk i don't play wild.
Nine Lives is definitely one to experiment with. However in this version of the deck, I think it will be unnecessary. This version is more tempo/face oriented. Controlling the board through mechs and having additional face damage through deathrattles with the potential to OTK if needed.
But I absolutely see the potential benefits it could bring. Not only with some additional face damage, but additional card draw through Ursatron, or removal through Spider Bomb.
Thanks for you thoughts! I will add Nine Lives to the list of possible changes.
