This is one of those legendaries where the effects are obviously good, but so generally applicable that it's hard to say what sort of deck you'd want to put him in. Free attacks added to your Invoke cards is great, card draw is great, buffs are great, and a weapon is great! The natural thought, as most seem to agree, is that he would be put into an aggressive Warrior deck, but Galakrond could also be good with Taunts, dragons, or any of the other synergies out there. If I were a new player coming in this expansion, I think I'd start out playing Warrior!

if you have 2 springpaws and this quest in hand, 4 mana would get you 7/7 worth of rush minions instead of 4 1/1's, both options counting 4 summons toward the quest. :D
An almost Zephyrus-like effect, which is extremely powerful. For that privilege, you pay 3 more mana, gain a better body, and don't have the Highlander requirement. I think this will be playable in any slower mage deck.

This seems fair, but not great. I think this will result in a bonus 6/6 from time to time, but the fact that you can't always land the 6/6 on the same turn or during a turn that would best disadvantage your opponent means there's a lack of consistency that could hold it back.
Of course, the best scenario would be a spell like Blizzard or Flamestrike clearing the board and simultaneously dropping a 6/6, giving you the initiative.
You said it yourself: in the end, the golden rule of deckbuilding is "don't but bad cards in your deck to justify other bad cards".
Unfortunately, as things are now (current meta and current revealed cards), Secure the Deck may be defined as a bad card, but could become better later with other reveals.

hsclass-header
We have a special headings with graphics for each class. But to make it work, you have to edit your post in Source Code via the "<>" button in the Text Editor:
Create your post and a header for the class;
for example, format your "Druid" header with Heading 3, which will then in source code look like <h3>Druid</h3>.
Click on the "<>" icon (source code) in the Text Editor.
Search for (ctrl+f) "h3" and find the heading you're looking for.
Replace line <h3>Druid</h3> with <h3 class="hsclass-header hsclass-druid">Druid</h3>;
for hunter it would be <h3 class="hsclass-header hsclass-hunter">Hunter</h3> and so on.
Confirm with "OK".
Save your post.
Done.
Now you get the pretty headings with graphics instead of regular ones :)
