Because of the dumb combo thats why. Priest can't have nice things because of Divine Spirit and Inner Fire, should have just HoF the piece of shit cards and be done with it.
I really like your presentation. How is it going so far?
And I wonder whether you really need so many value generators (Zola, Barista Lynchen, Expired Merchant, Soulwarden)- wouldn't a few more small minions win the early game, and feed the Eye better? And what Budget replacements would you suggest for Vek'lor, Brann and Barista Lynchen?
I'm a huge fan of the original game art which definitely drove some interest into playing. The look has improved so much over the years and is without a doubt better, but there's just something so special about the 3 poly trees and feet that look like bricks.
Then, of course, there is just so much more customization in the gearing, even if we know what the BiS stuff is.
I've had much enjoyment so far grouping up with others, trading to obtain better gear, crafting bags for people, and just having a million people around. Phasing really screws up the live game =/ Oh, and we don't feel like heroes yet which is also awesome. I hate how cinematic everything is in the current game, its almost too flashy. I don't need all that stuff to keep my attention.
Anyway, if anyone is on NA Herod Horde, <Recycled Content> has room, just give someone online a holler. No clue what the end game plans are.
Most likely answer: they already had nerfs on the schedule, and they were scared of how strong the aggro combo priest could be. Leave aside the philosophy that has always dictated their actions in the past (give it time, see how it pans out). Leave aside the fact that the meta hadn't even had a chance yet to get hostile against aggro priest and come up with counters to it.
They were already doing other nerfs, so they made a hasty decision to revert the Extra Arms nerf alongside other much-more-deserved nerfs to decks that have had their (very long) time to shine.
And the nerf really did completely destroy the deck, as expected. Priest can go back to being garbage tier again; Blizzard hates you guys.
Edit: Oh, and it was also a very cheap deck, so almost anyone could have crafted it if they wanted to spend the dust. Other super powerful decks are more limited in their scope, because not that many people have all the cards (Reno mage, control warrior, pocket mage, etc) - so maybe they have a lesser impact naturally since not everyone can afford them.
Playing wow for the first time! I just wanted to experience the crowded servers, building community and explore the world. Maybe even encounter some characters from HS, that i love!
I picked an ork warrior but i allready regret being mele... Can‘t reach the boars quickly enough.
I doubt i ever will get to the point of playing raids and stuff but who knows
Well from memory there was an issue where Collins' Dad would not permit him to continue streaming while under his roof. So Collins moved out and ShadyBunny streamed to help Collins afford a place to live and pursue his streaming dream.
Note this is just my understanding of the events, and may not be entirely accurate.
I despise the current state of HS so much. All the meta decks are so dull to play. These nerfs made the meta even worse than it was. Warrior is still here, the stupid mana cheat murloc paladin is still here, the ridiculous druid quest is still here, float 4 mana in first 4 turns to make a 10 mana play on turn 5, Highlander Hunter is pretty much the only normal deck to play against
I’m thinking just avoid using corrupted blood for another card. I’ve been using Hakkar a lot, and it can do a good job of forcing your opponent on a timer (since basically no decks run anything to get rid of the card), while still giving your opponent a chance to silence, poly, etc. Making it a guaranteed thing with Rush, while only affecting the opponent doesn’t seem like that great of an idea.
If you wanted to do a neutral loa, I’d say Rezan would probably be the best bet, since he’s one of the most important ones to my knowledge
I was hyped for a hot minute, but then I took a deep breath and thought about it. I started back in November of 2007 and played like it was a job for a long, long time. I'm talking about 50+ hour weeks WITH a full time job. Wake up, eat, go to work, come home, eat, play WoW, sleep; repeat. I watched and experienced the game change throughout the years and I finally stopped playing it "for real" back in Warlords. The past was cool because it was new. Reliving it now though seems super disingenuous and more like a waste of time than anything else.
And honestly, I can't go back to the original character models!
Well, I don't want another Patchy, so I'll think of something in the morning.
Also, I'm just gonna throw this out there: The other idea i had for a free legendary was Zul (from WoW, unlike Khun) as a high-Attack low-Health Rush minion with "Overkill: Shuffle a Corrupted Blood into your opponent's deck." Something like 7 or 8 Mana 5/2. Eventually I dropped the idea because it seemed to be a BIG counter to any control deck, even if Elysiana started to be played as a counter. Do you think it's an idea worth salvaging?
I know it has been said before many times, but you should dust it. If you ever want to use it, whether to complete your collection or deck, just craft it again at 0 net cost. If you dust it now, it is possible to get it again in a pack. Also if you dust it now, you can use the dust to create a better deck, to get more wins, to get gold, to get packs, and to come closer to completing your collection. In the end, it's just logical that you should dust it now, unless if you use it in a deck. Same with Barnes if you have him.
Dusted everything except Dr, Boom .... i have mixed feelings about dusting him ... he could be still viable even tough i do not play warrior that often ... but i guess i will dust him because the Warrior decks i play are mostly aggro ...
You can always dust him today and then change your mind in 2 weeks and recraft him for no loss of dust. Doing the converse will cost you -1200 dust, though.
Warrior quest, as things are right now, is absolutely terrible: the payoff is considerable but you have to shape your game plan so much that the new Hero Power won't make all your efforts worth it. Do you want something different for the last 40 wins with Warrior? Think big, play bigger: Big Warrior.
I suppose you hate Hunter for all the SMOrc shenanigans, right? Then the new quest isn't something you'd like to play for sure.
unsure if i'll go towards quest shaman or quest paladin tho
Obviously you should craft whatever deck is going to bring you the most joy now, but if its honestly a coin-flip between those two choices, consider this: Quest Shaman is tied to battlecries and since every expansion introduces new battlecries, its probably going to continue to evolve and improve over the next 1.5 years (although it will take a hit when [Hearthstone Card (Shudderwock) Not Found] rotates). Conversely, Quest Paladin is tied to both reborn minions and strong deathrattles, so its always going to be restricted to running the ~12 reborn minions it does today plus it is relying heavily on Mechano-Egg, Kangor's Endless Army, Da Undatakah, etc for late game value, so there's a good chance that the archetype won't be viable in standard after the rotation.
I already play even mage. I didput my hero power mage to rest some month ago and diged it out with Tortollan Pilgrim. It´s great to play a diffrent deck and it works.
Lorewalker Cho and Pyros fit in that deck quite well too ;-). And you already did it right. One spirit of the dragon hawk is enough and it´s realy good.
Arugal is a must in the deck. I don´t use the mechs and mountain giants but agree they are good targets as usual. My deck is much more tempo oriented and conjures calling just a nice addition after the "nerf". And i use Tournament Medic. It´s a killer for tempo mages with 8 health. They need to removed it.
Hex lord is nice but not realy good. No space for him left.
I played a lot of Quest Warrior in Standard in preparation for an article we put up on the site - it was not great. Decks with Dr. Boom, Mad Genius were just objectively better.
Having said that, when you got the Quest off and started getting value, it was a lot of fun to run people over. It might be possible to make a consistent enough deck in Wild to at least have that fun, even if it can't stand up to the sheer value other decks can produce.
With my dust I got from the recent nerfs I was able to also dust my Bloodreaver Gul'dan and make it golden. Now I am stuck between a rock and a hard place as I am trying to determine what else I am going to craft. Here's my situation. I am trying to get the last 100 wins with Hunter, which I loathe playing but I want my golden hero, and the last 40 wins with Warrior to get that golden hero.
With that in mind, I am wondering if crafting either of their recent quests is worth it. I have seen people playing Wild Warrior with Hack the System and it looks wicked fun... but I am not sure if I want to spend the 1600 to do it. Then there is Hunter, which to be fair, the only deck that I can play with that class is the Deathrattle Hunter. I'm a combo player and occasionally dabble with aggro. I have the Mech Hunter, but I hate playing it. Anyone that plays these classes and/or the quests, please let me know if they are worth crafting or if there are other cards that work better
Why was Aggro Priest nerfed so fast compared to pretty much all other aggro decks?
Fast Nerf they took way long to Nerf back in the day pirate warrior.

can you tell more on this?
btw I also feel this team is not fair, wasn't fair the last time, and now with dreads...
Why was Aggro Priest nerfed so fast compared to pretty much all other aggro decks?
'Cause priest is doomed to be an eternal slow-combo hero. Period.
I was having lots of fun with aggro priests in wild (not this stupid combo in standard), with things like Shadowbomber, Shadow Ascendant, Spawn of Shadows and Kobold Sandtrooper, but i don't even dare to try it again with Extra Arms at 3...
