• Top Saviors of Uldum Cards That Pack a Punch or Fell Flat

    Quote From DoubleSummon

It's still the worst one flavorwise, since when paladins, or murlocs are necromancer?

A lot of the time in media, mummies aren’t just considered to always be evil. To me it makes sense flavor wise, paladins are waking up mummies so that they’ll help defend Uldum.

Wow, very glad I got King Phaoris, Reno the Relicologist and Armagedillo from my preorder.

Btw I find it very weird that many streamers thought the paladin quest was gonna be very bad just because you "have to play 5 bad minions". You can easily complete the quest by turn 5 or 6 and start on coping eggs and whelps.

Next: Let's keep up with the weird stuff! A class Witchwood legendary.

  • Interesting video: Just how expensive in dust is the meta compared to previous?

This expansion everything seems to be prepared so that it makes the game more expansive. Most of the neutral legendaries and epics are crap. There's only ONE neutral epic that sees play. So you have to craft different class legendaries and epics for each different deck you want to play. Only zephrys and siamat go into multiple decks, other than that everything has its specific place. The costs are obviously high and this way of printing epics&legendaries makes it even worse.

  • Card Interaction: Pressure plate and Conjurer's Calling

A handy rule for triggered effects is to always check whether they occur "when(ever)" or "after" they occur. A "when(ever)"-trigger occurs immediately, prior to the thing that triggers it (Explosive Trap, Vaporize), an "after"-trigger occurs after the event that triggered it(Rat Trap, Flame Ward).

That said, when in doubt it's always worth testing weird interactions, especially with cards that are worded in an unusual way, because Hearthstone isn't the most consistent of games and brevity is often chosen over specificity.

  • Card subtypes in the search Engine

I was wondering if you guys could add "Quest" and "Secret" to the list of card types in the search engine. They're sufficiently different from other spells to warrant a separate filter and especially the latter would be pretty useful considering the number of secrets in existence as well as the fact that dedicated secret decks are a regular occurrence in wild and standard alike.

  • Help me refine a Strongholds concept

Well the first thing that came to my mind after reading your Post was Blackhowl Gunspire ...

So i guess these "Stronghold" Cards should always work like some sorft of Defense ... maybe like this:

     - anyone know how i can link this one so it shows up as the real card and not just the link ??

    I realy like this Idea!!

  • Nine Golden Portraits Celebration

Congrats!  I just got my golden mage and shaman this week.  They're my first golden classes since idk ... Old Gods?

Druid has never been truly dumpster tier in HS history until now so I'm forced to play new classes

I like the idea of dormant cards providing bonuses. First of all, they already exist in the game (warlock Q and some PVE stuff), it provides an extra balance options (takes up one board slot) and stays visible at all times, so neither player forgets they r active.

Now the balance and effects and possible counter play, that is a different story :)

I think blizzard should for a while now make the economy much more user friendly, either increase the rewards, or increase the quality of the rewards by that I mean:

    1. Make epics more common playing for 5 years, I did pre-order some expansions I have all commons and rare in some, but not even close to half the epics in any expansion except classic in which ai still miss 7 this is insane, I barely missed any daily quest since I started I would expect to have at least all classic by now.. But nope.

    2. Make the rare or better card a discover, gwent did that's it's awesome makes you more likely to get what you want, feel less rng in packs, less bad about bad legendaries, avoid dupe epics.

    3. Common disenchant gain 10 instead of 5 or/and rare disenchant gain 25, all other rarities have a 1/4 ratio, it would greatly help players craft what they want and make the collection more sane (hs is hell for f2p right now)

    4. Use the class levels like in overwatch have them drop loot and scale endlessly, I currently have 9 classes at 60 yep..  Why not just use a system that is already in place, seems like a forgotten reward system.

    5. 3 wins=20 gold nuff said.

  • Priest in Saviors of Uldum

    Quote From Erodos

Priest has one of the strongest decks right now with the combo priest. Amet, Psychopomp and Injured Tol'Vir are all crazy strong cards. It just seems to be another expansion of Divine Spirit Inner Fire being the only viable win condition.

Sure it is strong and a good win condition, but i also tried a Quest / Wall Priest without the Divine/Inner Fire Combo and it was decent - sure not the best and if you play against Murloc with the Nuts opening you will almost loose everytime (if the opponent is always going face) but i also managed to win games vs AggroMurloc, AggroRogue where i was down to 5 health and stabilized.

With the new cards like Sandhoof Waterbearer you can heal up pretty good and building a wall and resurrecting your Walls will crush Aggro decks.

Also not bad against warriors, because his Mass removal (in standard at least) is limited to Brawl because Warpath does not help against High Health Minions :)

I will upload the Quest/Wall Priest Decklist later and put it in here so you can see which deck i mean

    Edit:

    - But if you wanna win fast or at least play fast games with Priest the Combo Priest you mentioned is the easier/better way to go !

Probably the strongest thing about Tomb Warden is the fact its a mech, so you can discover it again.

  • Here's some art, make a card! [Legacy Game]

Reminded me of a mimic. Looks like a weird stone cube monument thing, but then when you get close it breaks camouflage and reveals it's gigantic mouth.

A spell that summons one or both wolves as tokens. Preferably give the wolves different effects, don't make them identical.

  • Solving the Saviors of Uldum Gameboard Easter Egg

Well i alway played or at least tried to play other songs i know - but now i can do this!

    Thanks

  • Nine Golden Portraits Celebration

    Quote From Elemeno

Hi all!  I just wanted to take a minute and celebrate completing 500 wins will all 9 classes.  I just finished Paladin using Quest Pally, which also lined up with my 7000th overall win.  I know many others have many more wins, but this is an exciting milestone for me, so I thought I'd share.

Anyone else hit an important HS milestone recently?  Any upcoming?

    Cheers...

Congratz man, i personaly am still working on a few golden Portraits but i guess with only 19 wins away with druid its not going to be long before my next golden Hero Portrait :

  • Interesting video: Just how expensive in dust is the meta compared to previous?

Well at first i thought that this expansion would be expensive for me because i liked a lot of cards and i always want the cards i like :) - but i almost got everything i wanted out of my packs so it wasn't that expensive for me.

Of course if you're F2P or simply just want to craft the best ladder decks it could be expensive - at least Highlander Mage ;)

  • Top Saviors of Uldum Cards That Pack a Punch or Fell Flat

I think Zephrys the Great should have a place under the top cards ....

And i personaly would never have thought that King Phaoris would see that much play and become viable even for a ladder deck :) - this was quite a Surprise for me - but i also thought that Highlander Hunter would not be that great and as it turns out it is pretty darn good :)

And i said from the beginning that Making Mummies would be very good :)

Like Spikeridged Steed, the token isn’t also collectible. Unlike SS, it’s for Paladin only.

    Next up: this!

I haven’t the slightest idea what this is, so go nuts

  • Pikatwo's Dragon Highlander Hunter - Masters Tour Seoul

This deck is sooooo much fun to play.  I only saw a bit of it in the tourney and decided to craft it on the spot.  I had to craft a few legendaries but ultimately couldn't craft Octosari.  I replaced Octo for Harrison and Tracking for Explosive Trap (fakes a secret mage if drawn early and helps with early aggro).  Even without Octi, I rarely feel that I don't have enough cards in hand.

I do not know what this means

    Really? The "OwO" stereotype?

  • Top Saviors of Uldum Cards That Pack a Punch or Fell Flat

You could be right with that.

I think the term you are looking for is "bad luck".
