How does Wardruid Loti work with the quest completed? Will you get all four?
Yes. The hero power works exactly the same as Keeper Stalladris, and as the boss in the Dalaran Heist.
If you want to see it in action there are a number of clips on YouTube from various streamers who had access to play the new stuff against each other recently, go check them out.
Wow, only 3 Stars in arena? Reno decks are totally a thing, especially when you get Zephrys in the first half of the draft. Reno himself saw a lot of play there aswell.
This dude is insane in arena! And not class restricted either. Prepare flamestriking priests and pyroblasting hunters
Yes, that's exactly the plan, even if you can't draw Glinda with the HP you can play Glinda, shuffle a copy in your deck and hope your opponent doesn't have removal, since in theory you can do this an indefinite amount of times eventually Glinda is gonna stick on the board and allow you to do the combo (supposing you have ways to kill off your baleful bankers)
Hello everyone now we saw all the cards I want to hear what you guys think of the picture as a whole, which cards you think are good and which one are bad, this expansion is all over the place for sure but we saw some very powerful stuff and very meme stuff so let's start.. btw your cards don't have to be legendaries.. yes they seem the most impactful but also a common 1 mana 1/2 in unguru [Hearthstone Card (firefly) Not Found] ended up being played the full 2 years it was out so it's not all about late game legendaries!
I will start:
Top 5 best cards:
1. Siamat - seems like the Zilliax of the expansion it's so flexible and has probably some use in any deck that is either midrange or control, specially in mage that can cheat him out with [Hearthstone Card (elemental invocation) Not Found] or quest shaman that can get all 4 of his keywords.
2. Hyena Alpha - remember Emerald Spellstone? this card is too similar to it and the price? having an untriggered secret on turn 4 this card is gonna shape the meta for sure, and to top it off, you can dig for it with Master's Call.. it's not like midrange beast hunter had a turn 4 play anyway.
3.Garden Gnome - you see the card above? this card is almost the same but treants instead of beasts the trigger is also extreamly easy and it's something druid has always been doing token druid is already strong and if they can fit around 2 more big spells in the deck I am sure they will cause this card is that much powerful.
4. BEEEES!!!- another druid card? yes, I think this card is really powerful by how versatile it is not only it's a Shadow Bolt that when it overkills it leaves tokens behind, it can trigger your own lifesteal, overkill and deathrattle effects if you need to.
5. Weaponized Wasp- you are kidding me right? this card is insanely powerful and even more with the shaman quest, it gives shaman so much reach and removal.
honorable mentions: Impbalming - it's a single target removal for 4, this card is probably the most underrated card of the expansion YOUR DECK DOESN'T MATTER if you have TEMPO, you might not even draw the imps and if you do.. you have life tap, this card is insane and will push warlock further.. it's not like control warlock ever has a problem of lacking options in hand or draw.
Beaming Sidekick - reminds me of Kabal Talonpriest how good was that card VERY good, now this is neutral, costs 2 less has also good stats for a 1 drop and just gives 1 less hp, priest will really like this card, as well as warlock.
top 5 worst cards:
1. Desert Obelisk - this card is such an atrociously bad card, if you are copying a card so many times and it costs 5 why you aren't copying Leeroy Jenkins? this card is so bad it's not even a meme card.
2. Generous Mummy - you are getting 2 mana discount deal for the body but at which price? this card is just very similar to Millhouse Manastorm and it's not even a battlecry, not only do you get a downside but it's hard to get rid of the card from your board, every time you would get this card from Diseased Vulture you will be extremely sad.
3. Making Mummies- this quest is SO bad it's not only the only quest that can't be expanded upon cause reborn is a SOU mechanic only the reborn minions are mostly mediocre, and paladin didn't even get a good ones you need to run around 8~12 reborn minions in your deck for this to be good.. and.. the reward? it's not even that great. and the WORST part about this card is why does a good guy practices necromancy? and even worse a murloc good guy???
4. Desert Hare- we have [Hearthstone Card (microtech technician) Not Found] in boomsday this card is worse.. just why.
5. Living Monument - TBH didn't find many other atrocious cards so I am complaining about a pack filler that's how powerful this expansion is.. btw why buff Conjurer's Calling with this card?
Honorable mentions: murloc support in paladin and totem support in shaman- yes those are bad NOW but they cards seem to have uses... seem to be a set up for a future archtype in the classes.
I never play Warlock, Mage or Priest, and they all look relatively weak, so I hope I don't get those.
I'm lacking a good number of Shaman and Druid cards, so if I get those, I'll have to break the bank to make a deck out of them.
I LOVE burgle Rogue and Tess, so I will be over the moon if I get Bazaar Burglary.
Making Mummies actually doesn't seem too bad. From what I've seen on the pre-release streams, Kripp had a lot of success with a Mech/reborn build, often able to complete the quest very early and snowball a lead with infinitely buffed mechs.
Nobody else seems interested in it, but I wouldn't mind Hack the System. I enjoy playing Warrior (I know, sue me) and I think it may be able to work.
If so, you have to get pretty lucky on a lot of axes to make this work. You will be burning through your deck at light speed, so maybe it's more reasonable than it sounds, but having to draw Glinda specifically off Tome of Origination seems like it's going to cause some inconsistencies. Other than that, it's cool that there are other wincons in the deck. Looks like a really solid Plot Twist Warlock, will definitely try it out on launch.
Like all Murloc decks, you need to build up your board early in the game while constantly applying pressure, and therefore it seems like Tip the Scales, because it costs so much, will only be used to refill your board. It's not like Call to Arms where it's going to be used to push for damage or cement your position on the board.
Tip the Scales seems like it's the card to get you back into the game when you run out of steam, similar to how Underbelly Angler is used as a refill generator so you don't run out of garbage to vomit onto the board. I like the inclusion of Nomi, because after playing 2 Tip the Scales you will definitely have basically almost decked yourself, so it's like the final push for lethal. Cool deck, will definitely try it out on release.
My first thought but nomi is one card and a minion. The tiger version would not be able to have the same consistent mechanic and need much more cards. My guts say this one is better. It might loose to massiv board clear or wall decks but i think overall performance should be better.
I am trying different cards, including Sunreaver Spy for the same mechanic. And the spy tbh is crap in this deck, extremely clunky. I expect hyenas to be much better due to Beast tag (Houndmaster is literally a monster) and multiple bodies.
It also possible i will have to adjust the deck with more Secrets, for this synergy to be consistent enough.
I was one of the many led astray by the mess that is Innkeeper. Half adware, half marketing, all garbage. HDT is superior in all ways and hopefully continues to improve.
If you just re-downloaded it, I recommend looking into the plugins and extensions!
I don't normally post here, but I might as well share my recent match with you. So a little while ago I started a standard game, because I wanted to try out Whizbang's new deck recipies and play with the SOU cards. I landed on an old ress priest deck and faced a tempo thief rogue opponent.
The game started off very slowly. Neither of us had an amazing start. Minions were played off curve, there wasn't any pressure going on and the opponent even decided to play Leeroy Jenkins on turn 5, because I guess they didn't have anything better to do? Anyway somewhere past turn 8 things became scary for me, because I couldn't deal with Hench-Clan Thug. Since the rogue ran a thief deck, they generated a lot of priest cards and one of those was Temple Enforcer, which made the thug even harder to kill. I kept it cool, I killed the enforcer with my Batterhead (which was already on the board) and Zilliax. But I just want to show you how lucky my opponent was and their luck didn't end up here.
Later in the game the rogue silenced my Witchwood Grizzly, their thug was a 7/10 and they had a Spellbreaker on the board. I attacked the Spellbreaker with the bear (it became a 3/6), traded my other minion, Injured Blademaster, into the thug (making him a 7/6), cast a top-decked Power Word: Shield on the bear (made it a 3/8) and cast Mass Hysteria, so that both minions could attack eachother and kill themselves. I then healed myself to 6 with the hero power.
The opponent plays Hench-Clan Burglar into a 4/4 Edwin VanCleef, I clear their threats with my last Hysteria and heal myself to 7. Leeroy was already played, so I didn't have anything to fear. WRONG. Apparently my opponent was lucky enough to get Gladiator's Longbow and even though I played [Hearthstone Card (mass resurrect) Not Found] and summoned a grizzly, the opponent's other randomly generated card was Mortal Strike just to bypass the bear and kill me.
Honestly, I'm not even salty, just slightly annoyed. I tried to play well, but it's kinda stupid to lose because RNG said so. This was one of those moments, when I really despised this aspect of hearthstone.
I've got the Supreme Archaeology and at first I was disappointed, thinking that the mana cost for drawing cards will be zero not the cards.
Now, I see a good potential, at least for meme and fun decks and yes with Rafam can be a deck like this. I hope we will find a list somehow good also for winning games :)
Damn you guys make me look at this second bundle .... I can already feel the disappointment that half of my wishlist is missing. Crafting week 1 is soooo bad
Quest Coming up! Do you think it's good already?
Yes. The hero power works exactly the same as Keeper Stalladris, and as the boss in the Dalaran Heist.

Frightened Flunky- Stonehill Defender, for warrior, costs 1 less mana, 1 less stat, we know how good is Stonehill Defender, nuff said.

So, about the Glinda combo, tell me if I'm wrong:
If so, you have to get pretty lucky on a lot of axes to make this work. I hoped, and it was the 2nd one I unpacked. :(
In fact I barely unpacked any legos I wanted. Long road to get all that I wanted from this xpac. Very disappointed :(
