I can see this working in some sort of Aggro/Zoolock. You can use it as removal and you want cheap minions. And if you play Rafaam after the Shuffle you have more legendarys in your deck.
Solid body, big effect for a 3 mana minion and great in aggro or midrange shaman. I'd give it a solid 5 stars. You could compare it to SI:7 Agent, slightly better in my opinion.
First I was thinking the same, but the flexibility of SI7 Agent together with coin on turn 2 and that he can be comboed with every card makes SI7 Agent slightly better
Why noone mentions that card has been worded as [Hearthstone Card ("cast") Not Found] not [Hearthstone Card ("play") Not Found] which would change everything, even expectations.
I mean, someone said above, it is relevant to what new spells mage will get. No, That's not about that. It is relevant to what new minions Mages will get.
Maybe Felhound Portals and even Bombs which warrior adds to your deck. Casts when drawn cards are also "casted" spells.
Puzzle Box of Yogg-Saron completes this quest single handedly. ok this way is too slow but I guess you understood what i mean.
As i said above the reveal page, They all should work to complete quest mechanically if they worded the quest true.
If mage gets a card like Servant of Yogg-Saron, and the expansion has some spell-casting neutral minions, it could be a little problematic. a new viable Mage deck is coming i guess. I'm saying "problematic" because of infinite-value issues back in old hearthstone days, and nowadays.
I'm expecting to see a spell card for mages like "Cast [Hearthstone Card (Arcane missles) Not Found], Mirror Image and x" which casts 3 or 2 different mage spells at the same time. We saw where Reno Jackson's mage powers are coming, simply from scrolls.
Even if you can complete this new Quest fast enough, the reward is just too slow and unreliable for Wild purposes.
And even in Standard, putting it in its most favourable environment, Miracle Mage, will just translate into a winmore card, since it won't cover any weak spot.
Oh, I haven't bought the Heist so I couldn't know that. But at least in my runs, it happened they could have avoided lethal and just ignored it. Like, they have 10 HP left and I finished my turn with two minions who have a combined sum of 12 attack points. My opponent had one minion on board and the "destroy a damaged minion heropower". So, instead of sacrifizing his minion and kill one of mine with the heropower to prevent lethal, he went face, played some random cards without any impact and lost. Similar things happened when I threatened letahl and they used to burn spells to go face in stead of killing my minions... Really stupid AI it seems.
There are so many possibilities that I think hardly the game may run out of ideas (just look at how many interesting and funny new mechanics were presented in each competition on HearthPwn).
Team 5 is probably stuck with the need to implement new things and some balancing issues.
Anyone knows if the time-limit (60 and 40min each) for getting the Golden cards is overall or just gameplay? Ex. is the time counted when I choose treasures as well? Can I play 2-3 bosses, take a break and come back later without the time is running?
I don't know... looks like Ungoro all over again. That is, 1 quest ends up completely broken because people find a way to abuse it (caverns), 2 or 3 are okay-ish Tier 2 (waygate, fire plume) and the rest is for the memes. So far the new warlock quest seems okay (maybe it helps Control Lock to become a thing again), the mage one is for funsies only. And honestly, I don't like so many legendary cards being not competetiv, they are too expensive for that. Don't get me wrong, I like to play fun decks and even took a marsh queen deck to ladder last year because I pulled a golden copy from a pack. But in the end most of us want to play the well performing cards and getting those is harder when there are less of them. Hopefully the rest of the new quests are better and / or get enough support to find a place in the meta.
Mage HP is essentially Primordial Glyph without the Discover; not sure I want to put in the effort for it.
BEEEES!!! should be great for a Token Druid, though.
I don't think BEEEES!!! will be great for Token Druid since those bees would die as soon as you cast unless the minion they attack has 0 attack power. I think the other 3 also will attack even if the target has 1 health.
Corridor Creeper-type cards are in wild so this can't help Standard token imo.
Thanks for guides guys! I have one question though. Are there any chances of getting banned for doing this? It would be my first time and I just want my account to be safe :)
If you change your address to Mexico, it's not likely that you'll be banned. However, it's EXTREMELY likely that you'll be deported to Mexico by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, so be aware.
I mean, it's a children's card game. They'd probably just put you in a cage with the other children instead. As a gamer, you're probably living without soap/toothpaste anyway lol
On a more serious note, I've been helping people using this method since boomsday and no one has gotten banned yet. It's perfectly safe :)
This card seems simple at face value but it's actually really interesting. It's a 4 damage removal card that summons tokens to do the damage. Looks like you can target your own minions as well, so i wonder what sort of situations would call for such a thing. The only other time minions can bypass taunt is when their target is automatically/randomly determined by some effect.
This could have synergy with cards that buff minions when they are summoned, or are buffed/triggered themselves by summoning minions like Knife Juggler. I can see people playing aggro with this already. That could be a potential 8 damage for 3 if a Knife Juggler survives or is played on the same turn. Plus they are possibly beasts, so there's that whole aspect of synergy as well.
I think the archetype for this card largely depends on the lackey production (something Thrall is supposed to be bad at?). A true aggro deck isn't running EVIL Totem. Ever. Sludge Slurper on T1 to get a lackey leaves you overloaded so T2 can't be a 2 drop. If you drop the lackey it's unlikely to live. Anything else you play there (assuming it's not a lackey) means you have to wait until T4 to play this. Seems much more likely to be part of a quest and/or wock and/or control build. It's an incredible value but not in an aggro way.
While I don't disagree with the general sentiment, I think it depends on how you're using the word aggro. At the moment most of the successful aggressive decks have a fairly weak curve, with only murloc shaman and zoolock containing enough 1 and 2 drops to reliably curve out. Rogue, token druid, miracle shaman and even mech hunter run few-to-no 1 drops and oftentimes don't make a play until turn three. With that in mind, I can conceive of a scenario where a more mid-range, but still aggressively oriented lackey-shaman deck emerges similar to the way most rogue decks operate, especially if the set contains more synergy cards.
That said, the current crop of shaman lackey generators doesn't inspire much confidence. Maybe the last set in the rotation will have a good one. Having a card that generates two lackeys like EVIL Miscreant/Genius makes a world of difference.

Getting a lackey on board with Shaman is *much* harder than activating combo with Rogue. Even if you play Sludge Slurper->Lackey->Wasp as a curve, you offset a lot of the tempo gained with the lackey by overloading and of course you need the lackey to survive for this to even work. If Shaman had great Lackey generators than maybe I'd agree with you, but at present, no.
New Warlock Spell - Impbalming
I can see this working in some sort of Aggro/Zoolock. You can use it as removal and you want cheap minions. And if you play Rafaam after the Shuffle you have more legendarys in your deck.
Decent card
New Druid Spell - BEEEES!!!!
Cool flavour and the card on it´s own is also pretty nice. Good addition for Aggro/Token or you use it as removal!
New Mage Spell - Raid the Sky Temple
Very cool - and i think it has lots of potential to be "Meta-Defining" - but i guess we will have to wait and see.
I like it !
New Shaman Minion - Weaponized Wasp
This seems pretty good so far and maybe we will see more Lackey producing cards from Shaman that could make that card even stronger!
New Neutral Minion - Questing Explorer
This seems like an auto-include in any deck that runs a quest. For sure with the shaman and warlock quest at the very least.
New Shaman Minion - Weaponized Wasp
First I was thinking the same, but the flexibility of SI7 Agent together with coin on turn 2 and that he can be comboed with every card makes SI7 Agent slightly better

Servant of Yogg-Saron helps to complete this quest in wild. Archmage Vargoth also casts spells.
Maybe Felhound Portals and even Bombs which warrior adds to your deck. Casts when drawn cards are also "casted" spells.

I won't be so surprised if mage gets a new minion like Servant of Yogg-Saron. It is even be the Reno Jackson himself like Swampqueen Hagatha's Horror.
New Mage Spell - Raid the Sky Temple
In Wild, outclassed by Open the Waygate.
Even if you can complete this new Quest fast enough, the reward is just too slow and unreliable for Wild purposes.

Three New Cards Revealed - Mage Quest (Raid the Sky Temple), Weaponized Wasp, BEEEES!!!
It is "cast spells", not "play spells".
That means Archmage Vargoth spells also count, Servant of Yogg-Saron also counts Casts When Drawn cards also count (Felhound Portal).
I don't think it will be slow. I mean, if the "cast" word on the card is truely worded, those cards should work mechanically.
New Mage Spell - Raid the Sky Temple

How to buy the pre-order (or anything) cheaper within Blizzard Shop without any problems/illegal actions?

Three New Cards Revealed - Mage Quest (Raid the Sky Temple), Weaponized Wasp, BEEEES!!!
BEEEES!!! has to be one of the best removal spells ever printed. It's going to be an autoinclude.
New Druid Spell - BEEEES!!!!

With Floop's Glorious Gloop you also have some opportunity to get some extra mana, which in turn works with the new quest Untapped Potential.
This is a very cool card design for druid.
New Mage Spell - Raid the Sky Temple
I can't really see this being competitive but who knows. It seems fun though for sure.
New Shaman Minion - Weaponized Wasp
Good card when you control a lackey, basic 3/3 beast when you don't. I can see people complaining about this.
New Shaman Minion - Weaponized Wasp
