I personally don't run him, and I am sitting in legend right now using bomb hunter. He isn't necessary, but I do think he's good. If you play him and he does nothing, you were bound to lose anyways. At worst, he is a dead rock in your hand in the earlier game. He is always game swinging when you can play him.
Mossy Horror, also helps you in the druid match up
This.
You don't say which archetypes are giving you trouble, but Mossy is good in a surprising number of situations -- not just Druid. I love it holding this guy in hand while a Rogue squirts out a board full of Lackeys, for example. And those stupid ogres in Wall Priest -- no problem!
I thought I'd have to save up gold to buy the entire solo content, but I came into 12 bucks and was able to purchase the last two chapters yesterday. So happy. Now I have 4 chapters beat with at least one class, and am excited for Chapter 5 on Thursday.
Side note: How is it that I can beat Dalaran Heist chapters but I can't even come close to the final boss in Rumble, Dungeon Run or Monster Hunt?
I like most of the heroes actually. I also find the evil league members and their comments at times hilarious. I have to laugh every time dr. Boom says something about the townspeople even fighting them and that calling their group evil was bar pr ..
My list doesn't include (anymore) Flark, because is reeeeeeeally slow. It's strong only against warriors, against any other class is just a problem in your hand. In the majority of games you will lose when the opponent will take control of the board, Flark doesn't help you to recover from this situation. So, I really prefer having another useful card in the first part of the match (stay on tempo) than having a card that will help me if I fail. It's like Rafaam for the Zoolock, can save your (hopeless) situation when you have almost lost the game, the difference is the draw ability of Warlock. With Zoo you can just use the hero power and have another card, Hunter can't, so better having only good cards (again, my opinion). If you really want to use him there is no way else then magnetising other mechs on the bombs, everything else (like Mossy Horror) will be such a bad card in every other moment of the game. The combo venomizer and missile launcher, in normal condition, is played before Flark, because is more reactive.
[...] You end up with a problem then of the person that creates it first dictates how it evolves on the site, at least without a crazy amount of moderation.
[...]There are plans for more tools to help people find actual useful content and there will be incentives for people to make good guides.
[...]Ultimately, people should be allowed to use the site to share their decks and keep a record of decks they enjoyed playing. I think HearthPwn did a very good job with that, it just needs more powerful filters to let people find good content easier. Content discovery is going to be big here instead of simply deck discovery.
While I respect your opinion a lot and certainly understand why you want to go the same way Hearthpwn did I really hoped that this site would go into a complete different approach concering the deck database.
I know that the moderation amount for decks would be larger than before, but if you prevent dupe decks it would not only be in a size that humans could handle, it would also give the option to involve the community more with moderation. Imagine it as a kind of wiki, you have a comprehensible deck database and a community that cares about the content.
Creating a huge deck database and trying to code scripts/tools so that the visitor of this site might find a deck he would like is not only the harder task (in my opinion Hearthpwn failed on that task which is why I stopped posting my decks there), it's in the long run also the wrong way (in my humble opinion of course). There are still enough other sites going this approach, so if you have the chance to build something new - why try to build the same thing others already have only a bit greener with more dots?
Concerning people allowing to post decks they enjoy just provides to the same problem - bloating the database. If the deck is already in the database, they can comment there like "I love this deck, played 10000 games of it" and follow any changes the original poster adds to the guide. And in any other case, he could create a new deck copy and just change 1 card which might be the same deck with the same strategy but with another tech card which could lead into 29 different iterations of the same deck. You see, even if you approach my suggested way, the database would still be huge but with a very high quality.
Just forcing quantity with finder-tools for the database is nothing new and not innovative. Maybe most people just want another copy of Hearthpwn because they were happy with it and you just want to do that. Well, then go for it and I if it is like this I wish you the best luck with it.
Just my 2 cents and maybe no one cares what I have written here, but if only 1 guy agrees it was worth typing it ;)
IMHO what you say is wrong because this isn't an encyclopedia. This is a place when we come to share our own decklist. Our personal version of an archetype may be different from the most popular version, and we want to share it. If we do as you said, there would be place only for one populare netdecked version, while in this way there is place for everyone.
I think its old Hearthpwn ideology with creating/sharing as many decks as possible to garner an achievement or accolade. As long as outof.cards doesn't do any sort of achievement system, or recognition system - I believe the filter feature is the best way to weed out those that don't create guides.
I would think it's against the rules to target other people on the forums. You can express your opinion without putting a target over someone's head. If he wants to make 100 decks so be it, that is his choice.

Where as Hearthstone Arena synergy is extremely important this game has no synergy of any kind.
Not to get off topic, but what?! Extremely important eh? Not even close. That is like the furthest from the truth statement iv seen in a while.
If you don't want your 12 wins I guess it doesn't matter right? There is very popular add on's that help with Arena picks that looks at your deck synergy giving each card different rankings. Highly used, there are a few versions. One will be below.
I think part of the issue also might be the fact that with ALL the free CCGs out there, Artifact having a price point isn't a good decision.
Definitely a factor. It's thing if you pay and get a full collectible card game with minimal grind and lots of content. It's pretty bad when you have to pay $20 just to play and then just get slapped in the face with what's basically a f2p business model requiring you pay even more for you to actually enjoy the game fully. Basically payed up front for the privledge to pay some more...
Flark is your last ditch effort. Once you've ran out of cards (which is usually the case around turn 7) you drop him so that you can magnitize the four bombs with your top decks to get that last bit of damage in.
Don't cut him, if that's what you were wondering. The reason he seems lackluster is because you're usually in a losing position when he comes into play.
So... I can finally post again in the community since the thing of linking twitch with my HearthPwn account that I never did. Very glad about that, and Hello again :)
I have been stuck at Rank 8/7 for the past month and it is killing me. As much as I like to play Bomb Warrior and Tempo Rogue, I'm trying to get my golden Hunter hero.
I was able to grind up to 10 with Mid-Range Hunter, then got stuck. Since then I have been playing the hell out of Mech Hunter. But I am still getting stuck at Rank 7/8. And here is where I am wondering about the tech in my deck: I've been using Boommaster Flark but I do not find him to be that useful. Whenever I drop him, Flark gets taken out quickly, as he should. But I find myself trying to find ways to detonate the Goblin Bombs he creates. The only consistency I have found is by dropping the Venomizer + Missile Launcher combo for a board wipe. Has anyone else been able to make use of this card?
For my part, I tried to watch it once and could not tell what was happening at all. It was not a viewer friendly CCG, and if you aren't attracting viewers, you aren't attracting customers.
That is very true also. The 3 board system bloated the experience and made people popping into streams become confused. I do wonder what they are going to do with it in the future. Based on Valve not asking for feedback and Richard Garfield being off the development team I think the game is dead in the water. The game barely has 190 players a day which is extremely bad. Not sure on the website's rules on putting external links but here is one to check the players every day.

Darkest Hour/Alarm-O-Bot Midrange Hybrid
Do you have Fel Lord Betrug? Seems like a strong card for this attempt at a control lock?
Standard or Wild tags
Well for now you can see from which expansion are the cards, the moment you see a wild expansion card.. it's a wild deck.
Please prevent deck spammers early enough, don't let it degenerate like on Hearthpwn

Easiest Alex of the year.
I managed to get this thanks to my boy Bob, giving me Alex, and then letting me discount it to 0 mana.

On the final match topdecked it while I had 40 damage on board.

Really cool Deck!
I swichted Boomreaver (cause i dont have it) for Yasera and it works fine.
but does anyone have a better Replacement?

I think this will be far better, like Flux has said on stream a few times, because they're not just focusing on Hearthstone.
What was your first impression of Magic when you began playing?
I've always loved Magic, I just think it's too expensive to keep up with, hence why I use MTGO for Commander and Duels/Arena for everything else.
I even use the OLD Duels games (2012/2013 to be exact) so I can play Archenemy and Planechase respectively.
