I finally hit legend! I've been playing mostly Standard since 2017, so it's kind of funny that I reached Wild legend first lol. 

It wasn't that stressful of a climb, with the only obstacles being the three straight Secret Mages I lost to whenever I was just one win away (I swear, the Mage class exists just to make my life miserable lol). I was piloting Odd Demon Hunter, an absolutely overpowered deck that I feel a little guilty for reaching legend with it. But hey, legend is legend!

Time to kick back and enjoy being a legend player for one day, since it's gonna be a new season tomorrow. Just wanted to share, and good luck to everyone else on their climb!

If you got to masters by using some meta net deck that someone else made did you actually achieve anything? Be honest. Can you honestly refer to yourself as a Master player?

I have been playing this game since September 2014 but I have never reached legend until this month. I am so grateful for this website, hsreplay, and tempostorm. I love the community here. I enjoy the info on hsreplay, and the free information on top decks for Wild as provided by tempostorm. I wanted to share my achievement with you guys.

every card game has an arena game type that people with good skills and want to get all cards witchout spending thousands of dollars can play to grind there way up there. in most of these games you can get the currency that you spent on the arena run and start profiting is after about 65% of the run being won. in legends of runeterra you only get back the currency that you spent after fully winning the expedition!!!! and you dont get a sinhle extra green essense you litterly end up with 2000. and if you finiah with 6 oit of 7 wins you only get 1000 essense wich means you lose half of it. that it self ia extremly greedy since it will be hard to grind the expedition. but we can argue that it is much easier to get a perfect run in runeterra than other card games. but then you have a LIMITED AMOUNT OF EXPEDITIONS PER WEEK. that is the most greedy and bullshitty thing i have ever seen in a cardgame. seriously riot proved it self more greedy that blizzard with that cheap move. they blocked all our ways of grinding up the full collection of cards and is forcing us to either grind for many weeks or to pay alot of money to get the cards. honestly this is a game breaking experiense for me and i dont think i will take this game seriously anymore since it is such a money trap.

I wanted to know if this was happening to anyone else. I have had a couple games where the game had decided that I don’t want to defend, at key moments where defense is a necessity. It’s led to several losses, even in ranked. It’s not that the game times out. It just skips my defense step entirely. Again, I just wanted to know if this is happening to anyone else and if they are looking into it.

Do something about Unyielding Spirit already! That card is BS and people are finding even more BS ways to use it.

There has always been pros and cons of live card balancing in games when compared to the hands off approach of mtg.

For one, you can unintentionally ruin what has made you game fun by listening to your fans, Gwent being a great example with it's gold update.

Similarly, with it's limited card pool and emphasis on champions,  Legends of Runterra has to be cautious not to make too many archetypes unplayable.

So what changes did we see and what are the meta implications...

1. Stand alone no longer works with Zed, this list want never top tier so why did Riot want to kill this champion

2. Elise is worse because she can't flood the board with brood swarm - again not on the tier list so this nerf doesn't make sense

3. Legion rearguard was an aggro card not a burn card per say, so now Darius and Katarina are worse

4. Badger bear was showing up in control decks, but they nerfed the damage not the toughness, so they made it worse at aggro but still good in control

5. Unyielding spirit still exists so Fiora is fine, even though she was the nerf target

6. Boomcrew nerf was needed and well implemented

7. Grizzles ranger got double nerfed and is now unplayable

Unintended meta consequences

control variants are the only archetypes worth playing mid range and aggro are dead

So no bannerman, no noxious anything that isn't swain

Region diversity will appear healthy, but deck archetypes will all be very slow

Fun for some, absolutely awful for the majority of players 2/3

I have some ideas for what rule sets Riot could implement for Gauntlets and Labs, let me know what you think of them!

1. A max of 3 Regions

2. A max of 6 unique champions (so you could have up to 18 total champions in a deck)

3. At the start of each round, players who had the attack token last round and didn't use it create a Fleeting Relentless Pursuit in hand 

4. 25 Nexus Health 

5. Players start with 1 Spell Mana and a 0/1 in play

6. The Power and Health of all units is swapped

7. The cost of units can be payed for with up to 1 Spell Mana. 

These were just some off the top of my head, but I think they help show how amazing Labs and Gauntlets could be for Runeterra! 

Question is in the title: have you purchased a cosmetic, and/or do you plan to buy one? Are there any particular cosmetics you want to see in the game? I'm just curious if anyone has bothered; I have yet to see something new in my Runeterra games.

I want to buy a board or two, but I haven't done it yet. Looking up the music on YouTube has led me to believe I will eventually buy the Iceborn Peak board, and possibly the Slaughter Docks board as well. As for everything else:

• I don't see the value in the guardians, but if they ever hand one out I'll take a Silverwing, thank you.
• My favorite card backs currently are the ones you earn (namely Freljord, Bilgewater, and Demacia).
• I don't need new emotes because I'm fine with just the Hello-Braum and the GG-Shen.

My hope/dream is that eventually we'll see a cool Leona vs Diana board when Mt. Targon comes out, and then I'll just use that one forever. I would also insta-buy a Lissandra board, but that would probably overlap too much with Iceborn Peak.

I would like better Sound cues's for when my Time is about to Run Out it's fairly easy to think about whom i use witch spell tu use on or who i use to defend and lose sight of the timer

I have been a proud member since the beggining  supporting via Patreon for a while. I noticed that the listing of subscription months is missing some of the early months in my profile.

My first concern is that OoC got the money from patreon. (I have the receipts if needed).

Second, not sure if it matters for things like badges, points, etc...

We are not talking a lot of money here, but I just want to make sure.

So as usual (As of now) Blizzard will probably replace Leeroy Jenkins, Acolyte of Pain, Mind Control Tech, Spellbreaker and Mountain Giant with other cards whenever they will be bad (like last time) or decent.. we don't know they made better balance decisions lately so maybe they will make those cards more niche.

Well the main point of this thread is some kind of advice: if you are a long time player and your classic collection is full/almost full, don't open classic packs! , I realize it only 3 weeks ago.. sadly..

Since if you wait until those replacements are introduced, you will get new cards rather than duplicates thanks to the new duplicate rule. also there should be some DH cards this year that will go to the classic set probably at the end of the year so if you have DH cards you didn't get this year and they go to classic you will get them on those unopened packs!

If your classic collection is quite small this probably doesn't apply to you but, with the new rule I guess most players can get a full set of classic common/rares within 3 months or so of playing. so you also might want to wait until you open more of those classic packs you get via quests or tavern brawls.

I don't think there are any top tier decks that rely heavily on the klepto cards (like Pilfered Goods, but playing against those cards is so goddamn frustrating.

Assuming you can activate the plunder effects with reasonable consistency, they're highly efficient card draw (in game where most card draw from your own deck is fairly inefficient) and they can significantly disrupt your opponent. It just seems like a very unfun design paradigm.

Any idea how to add the guy u are playing with? i cant figure out the region they belong to. And i need to insult the bitches using gay decks. Thanks

maybe a little rant here but seriously why are there so many thigns i simply cant react even with a deny in hand.

I know that every Burst Spell is not reactable but why is it every buff AND (so many) frostbite spells

Should that be a thing?

my rant is allready over again tbh (thank god it takes me usually 10-15 sec) but i still think there are a good amount of spells that shouldnt be burst

is there anything riot said they would at least keep an eye on?

Is anyone having problems with audio files on mobile? Starting a few weeks ago, most sound effects are either cut off or don't sound at all. This includes minion play effects, emotes, and a few more. The music works fine and some effects, like the card draw and quest progress sounds, work okay. 

I'm on a Samsung Note 10. Any users of other phones experiencing similar problems?

Hello there people! I saw that this part of fan creations is bare. Like really dusty. I'm here to fix that! This is what I like to call a booster set because no new region is present here. 

So what is the story here? It all began when our good friend Ezreal unleashed the 7 mortal sins onto Runeterra. Well, 5 of the 7 at least. They now spread across the regions clinging to the ones that relate to them the most, corrupting them.

One thing I have say: the SINS are champs here, not any regular ones. I know this is not going to be well received, but I have my heart set on doing this. 

Now that is out of the way, this is just here to put a place to display them. I have ideas, but they are not cards yet. This is just to set up. Remind me to delete this later. Also, if you want to create cards with me, join in! PM me and I will assign you a region to do if you want. Individual cards are fine too. I claim P + Z though. I'll update this in 24 hours or so with cards.

Dont know if this is the right place to post this but an issue occurred  today while playing Expedition. My last win was not recorded and it showed a "failed to connect error" . Im using LOR Guardian app to help me play this game, and it was recorded there .
