So here's the deal...

The solo adventure was available on my EU account before the legendary quest appeared. I dutifully completed Ch 1 but didn't receive the quest reward. Now the quest is displayed in my quest log but I don't know how to activate the reward - I've defeated the final boss again but it makes no difference.

Has anyone had a similar experience or, better yet, can suggest a workaround?

 I greet you, before i introduce the dragonslayer concept to you, i want to explain where i got the idea of making the archtype. I was digging some old files in my PC for boredom reasons, then i’ve founded a custom Dark Souls themed expansion i created back in 2016, and one of the archtypes i created for this expansion was the “Dragonslayer”, wich was focused in discarding Dragons to gain huge Tempo boosts. The classes that used the Dragonslayers was Hunter, Paladin and Mage (If you’re familiar with the Dark Souls lore, you problally know why those classes were chosen and what they do).

 After taking the nostalgia shot, i thinked to myself: “You know what, i think it is worth to recreat the archtype”, and then did it, and now i present to you, the Dragonslayer archtype!

 What are the Dragonslayer and they do?

The Dragonslayers are a group created by Dia the Time Breaker with the inicitial goal to hunt all the evil dragons on Azeroth, but one day a mysterious scientist joined the organization, and gifted them with a new powerful artifact: The Dragon Essence Extractor, wich had the power to absorb the soul of a Dragon and transffer to someone else. Then the scientist convinced them that Dragons are a plague to the world, and they should be exterminated, and the Dragon Essence Extractor( i’ll call it DEE for short) was the weapon that would help them achieve this goal.

 Them the Dragonslayers, equiped with the DEE, went on a vicious hunt againts the dragons, capturing them, extracting its power and then discarding them. The main target was the Blue, Green and Bronze dragonflight, for they powers mixed very well with the classes of the organization (Paladin, Hunter and Mage). Paladins gained the limited power to control time, hunters gained the power of the wilds, and mages unlocked their full potencial with huges amount of magic power.

The Constructs

 Aloung with the DEE, the scientist also created construct dragons to increase the powers of the Dragonslayer’s armies.

  But amoung the constructs, three of them standed out, they were alot more powerful than the others, and also had the natural power of absorbing the essence of other dragons. Those constructs are: Kalysera the Rooted, Sethgos the Crystallized and Masthormu the Infinite.

 And now with an unstoppable army of constructs and the power of three dragonflights, they marched with a single objective: Destroy the dragon kind.

 There’s more lore and history i created for them, but i’ll just writte the basic for now, if people show interest, i might writte the rest. But enough lore, let’s talk about the cards. You should expect a VERY HIGH POWER LEVEL!

The Hunter set

 Hunter’s Dragonslayer focus in destroing their targets as quickly as possible and uses powerful early game plays to gain advantage and then uses their big weapons Kalysera the Rooted and Dragonslayer Orn to finish the enemy hero. In resume, they are the aggressive bunch of the Dragonslyers.

The Mage Set

 Dragonslayer’s mages focus in acumulate Spell Damage and finish their enemies in one shot, and to achive this, they use a lot of survivability and draw to reach the combo turn. They play similar to freeze mage, but in a more fun way.

The Paladin Set

 Dragonslayer’s Paladin are the control part of the group, but they play a more active control style, like Renolock and Cubelock, i know some people don’t consider those as control decks, but those are just labels, and i personally think they deserve the control label. Back to the set, they main thing is removing minions and summoning big dragons, with the ability to use time in their favor.

The Neutral Set

 Turns out, the mysterious scientist was actually Nefarian! He’s working for the Dragonslayers, creating and cloning dragons for them out of the dragons they slay. Something is different about him, but i’ll only explain what it is if i writte the full lore. The basic support consist of a mix of construct dragons and dragonslayers that provide support for all for the dragonslayer archtypes.

 And that was the Dragonslayer concept, hoped you guys liked it, if more interest is shown, i’ll writte the full lore behind them and maybe even created an entire expansion based around it. And now a little trivia and clarifications about the Dragonslayers.

- The cards that discard Dragons will ONLY trigger its effect if you discard a Dragon, so if you have no Dragons in your hand, they will be nearlly worthless. And in the case of spells and hero powers, they can only be used you have a dragon in hand, otherwise you can’t even cast them.

 - As i said in the intro, they were based on my Dark Souls expansion i’ve made back in 2016, so they share some of its flavour. The mage part was inspired by Seth the Scaless, the betrayer of the dragonkind who usessed crystals to create his magic. Hunter was based on the Silver Archers and Paladin on the Silver Knights from Anor Londo.

 - All dragons used by the Dragonslayer are either indoctrinated constructs or slaves, none of them are helping on purpose.

 -There’s quite some references in the set, can you spot them all?

 -There might be some errors in the cards, if you saw one, please ignore it, i’ve maked and remaked a lot of cards, and if  fix every single mistake on them, i’ll take forever to finish the set. I ask the same for typos.

 -Warrior was HIGHLLY considerated to be a dragonslayer, but since i've had no idea of wich direction to give it, i've decided to cut it.

She is basically a 7 mana Miss Fortune. They both do the same thing. They hit everything for 1 damage on attack and both have an extra life. Anivia has her egg and Miss Fortune doesn't need to attack to set off her ability. So its the same thing. Then at level up Anivia only does 2 to everything when Miss Fortune does 3.

Again Anivia is 7 mana. Miss Fortune is 3 and does the same things and has a stronger level up. How does that make sense?

Just made it (exactly :D ) to 8000 in Battlegrounds and then I found the post here from a month ago that from 8000 you are in the top 0.1%?

Anyway, was not so difficult to climb when you play more conservative and you still win the lobby sometimes in that way. 

You only end up bottom of top 4 when RNG f***s you really really hard. 

Hi community! Since BG and pirates (specially with all the buying and selling with Hoggarr) I've realized that the game looks slow from time to time.

I have a good pc but a terrible internet connection.

I'm trying to find is there anything I can adjust to make graphics work faster, googled solutions, read on reddit and watched some vids, but I have still some questions and I was hoping someone here could give me a hand:

How can I know what's really causing the slowness?

Some of the solutions involve modifing the "options.txt" file: is that really secure or could be a reason to be banned?

Could we eventually have an official OoC post about how to make games perform better (assuming this might be an issue with MTG and LoR).

The class was released overtuned to make the class attractable and worth playing, and subsequently nerfed multiple times. Obviously we know the class was built with a very aggro oriented identify, but to less successful degrees has seen some control & big demon potential. The class is still too new to have meaningful OTK potential.

So what do you want to see out of the class in the future? More small minion aggro stuff? More big demons? More weapon support? Something new like handbuffing, better removal, more defensive sturdy minions? 

Tess Greymane is the one for me and many others. Our beloved princess who hopefully one day will be buffed to an actually competitive 6 mana.

Tess is/ was an agenda. I loved the struggle to worship her highness with plays that would make her reign unquestioned (Blizzards and Tirions and Mind Controls, oh my). The trouble was always staying alive to see her ascension

Hey all,

For the sake of the community, I wanted to post this deck here. I was given this deck by a friend in the game, and I started using it in Silver rank. It was so effective (at least for me) that I kept using it all the way to Platinum. I've been playing LoR for less than 4 weeks total, maybe 5 ranked games per day, and I'm already Platinum. I did not track my winrate, but it was very high (as you can tell from that information, it has to be, mathematically).

Edit: It stopped having a positive winrate in Platinum. Win some, lose some. So I don't recommend this deck past platinum. But it was great up until then.

I recalled a legion marauder with the 2 cost retreat card but my Legion Marauder wasnt buffed from my previous attacks. I won anyway, but isn't this a bug?

So I'm desperate to play some of these hot new warrior decks that are storming their way up ladder, but am unsure what my best crafting options are.

I currently have The Boom Reaver, Blastmaster Boom and Armagedillo, plus two of each class epic from the Classic, Rise of Shadows and Ashes of Outlands sets and the cards from the Galakrond's Awakening solo adventure.  I also have a big pile of dust, but the reason for that is that I'm very stingy about what I craft with it! 

I'm looking for advice on what are currently the best legendaries to craft for the class, as I see a lot of different variants of pirate, bomb/control and enrage warrior, all of which seem to use different combinations of the cards listed below:

Grommash Hellscream - appears in a lot of decks, and is Classic, so shouldn't rotate

Ancharrr - seems to be a must-have, but is from Year of the Dragon, so will rotate sooner

Deathwing, Mad Aspect - seems to be less ubiquitous than other legendaries, plus it's Year of the Dragon

Kargath Bladefist - Year of the Phoenix, so will stick around for a good while, but only seems to be used occasionally

Teron Gorefiend - another Phoenix card, and neutral, but seems to be declining in popularity since egg warrior gave way to enrage builds

I also realise a lot of decks run Livewire Lance and Bloodsworn Mercenary,  again cards from Year of the Dragon.

So, what should I invest in? I'm looking for fun, competitive decks, but also value for dust. I also subscribe to the philosophy of 'craft decks, not cards', but figure many of the cards I've listed above will fit into a range of warrior decks.

Vlad levels up from "Allies" surviving damage, but that incluides Vlad himself. Imperial demolitionist targets an "ally" but that means other units, not itself.

I apologize I am first time presenting deck and forgive me if I post it incorrectly. I try to get the list on here. As the title says this is bannerman with a Noxian Twist.

The idea of this is to use the effective Bannerman Demacian core to, but use cards like Darius to overpower certain over midrange regions that like to chump block you like Endure and shadow isles. This deck is a bit weak to Ionia and doesn't like Will of Ionia for obvious reasons. Below is my core build, basically subbed out 3 Garens for 3 Darius and 2 Riposte with 2 Decisive Maneuver.

Things I have thought about:
Dropping 1 Darius and 1 Swiftwing Lancer to put in 2 Radiant Guardian
Dropping Laurent Protege for Laurent Duelist or Legion Drummer
I even thought about putting in Purify and 2nd Unyielding Spirit.

How do you take screenshots in LoR? And where is the folder?

Please fill free to discuss the cards you feel are broken or overpowered in any mode of play. I'll start of with unyielding spirit. If you are playing expedition mode where you are limited to the picks you get for your deck, the chances of having a single card that will counter unyielding spirit is slim. Even if you manage to get 1 or 2, there is a high chance that you will not draw them. So, if this happens to you, you are just SoL if you get put up against it because its incredibly overpowered. I cannot believe Riot thought hmm this seems okay...

The current draft game mode for LoR right now is Expeditions, but I think that due to giving cards in buckets it often leads to worse versions of constructed decks instead of truly unique decks. 

My draft mode mode work like this: first, the player chooses 3 Regions out of an offered 5, then they are taken to a separate empty collection and given 65 random cards from each region and 9 Wildcards (that can be used for any rarity). This separate collection and wildcards would not transfer over to the player’s real collection. Then, the player would build a deck of 40 cards with those 3 Regions, using the random cards that they got as well as cards they crafted with the wildcards. After each victory or defeat they receive 2 Wildcards (to a max of 10) and they can adjust their deck. The run would end after 6 victories or 2 consecutive losses, and a second run can be taken after the first one (just like expeditions). The mode could either be played with an entrance fee and then give rewards based on victories, or be played for free with no rewards. 

The point of this mode would be to offer interesting deck building challenges for players, as they would have to change their strategy based on which regions and cards they receive, and use Wildcards to refine their decks. I’m not sure about what the exact numbers of Wildcards and Random cards given should be, but it could be adjusted to an optimal amount that doesn’t lead to too consistent decks.

This is written with full discretion that I also enjoy abusing a good Murloc comp. If anything that gives me more credibility.

Being able to divine shield a huge minion is equivalent to having another minion on the board. When you do the math, even taking a ghoul doesn’t help so much because to do so you had to go down to 6 units yourself.

No one complains about dragons because even if you can shield your comp you went down 1 unit and their attack may not be high anyway.

very simple number economics. Murloc late game is not fun to play against. Either mass div shield or mass poison has to go. Please replace Megasaur with Scalelord.

I’ll start with a disclaimer: I don’t play a whole lot of battlegrounds, therefore my analysis might be flawed.

Anyways, Pirates are great fun! I love both the economy and the buff-when-attacking synergy.

But especially the later is causing some problems imo. Late game pirate builds snowball so incredibly hard from their first attack, that any comeback is very difficult. Attacking second in a mirror is a guaranteed loss. Not only that, you oftentimes lose by a lot because the buffs keep coming.
The same goes for the parrot-deathrattle build to a certain extend. 
Without a huge divine shield - taunt you are basicly Toast In this meta, after losing the coin flip of attack initiative. 

How are your experiences? Have you found a way around that?

Is this kitty a misunderstood real threat or just a worse AFK? I pick her every time because fun is usually more important than climbing to me (i play in low 7000s doing that). 2 of the 6 times I got her I got a top 4 and two of the times I got beat down 8th place due to bad golden draw. 

great hero and I’m glad she is here but she is clickbait incarnate. If you do not roll something good rip. You have to. Unless you are hitting everything you need and are spending the gold like unneeded rerolls chances are you need that golden Rover to catch up!
