Been playing vs friends and found this out when his 18/9 Darius hit on of my minions which had a barrier and still killed my nexus.. I assumed i was able to buy myself another round because barrier negates damage to that unit. In my mind i took this as "if something hits it it deals no damage". This was not the outcome. I lost. And made this to warn others. I lowkey hate that feature.

She is almost useless. Even if you run three it is as if you only have one. The power you build up doesn't stay on the others and unless you have her in your opening hand she takes to long to power up. And even if she does level up there are normal none champion cards that could do her job but better with half the resources put into them.

Wrathion, the Black Emperor By Sindragosa

Works like a minion-only, Chromaggus, but adds a 1/1 copy instead. [Hearthstone Card (Toggwaggle's Scheme) Not Found] a minion, then get a lot of 1/1s. Can work with both Quests, which is the comp this week as of writing. I like this, but it might just be my rogue talking.

Shu'ma, Maw of Ruin By Sylicas

This minion intrigues me. You play this and it sleeps for 2 turns. You have to keep the enemy minions alive in order for this to work. But when it wakes up and the effect triggers, it still can't attack. That can make this a target to kill. I question its effectiveness, but flavor is here.

Freeze Priest anyone? While I am really confused about the Battlecry, the Hero Power catches my eye. Which I return with a hateful gaze.  Stall and more stall. This would make Convincing Infiltrator pop up with 3 health. Much more manageable than six. Plus, you get to pick it! That every single turn. Let us hope this it not made in the future for I will rage quit.

This + Into the Fray or Armagedillo = value. Math so easy, my sister could do this in her sleep. Taunt Warrior can make a swift comeback. Load the board and then you have a gnoll wall. I like it.

Millhouse, Infinity Storm By IlBelTia

I reached 10 mana though. Why do I have to wait 5 more! Assuming you survive that long in the late game, this can be potentially good. You can pump out spells like a mad man and Yogg to the moon. Holding Evocation that long can give you a lot more value. Spell Mage shall enjoy.

Simple question hopefully with a simple answer. I'm relatively new to the game as one might imagine and I'm just completely over burn decks at this point. I don't mind aggro, hell I don't even mind all the elusives I face, but the burn decks imparticular have just about turned me off playing because it's all I ever see.

Hoping someone more experienced here could help me make a deck or point me towards one that is good at countering the burn decks. I'm not trying to climb super fast or anything, I'm just tired of lulunavoidabledamage all day. It's not fun being on a hard timer from turn one >>. Thanks for the advice in advanced, I really appreciate it.

I think the Description written by creators for cards submitted to the WCDC should be shown during the Finalist Voting phase too. If anything, that description is even more vital during the Finals.

Having in mind the new extended duplicate rule, I'd like to ask you what's your opinion on disenchanting the bad legendaries that you have.

Since you are now guaranteed that you won't open them again (soon), do you think it's a good idea to disenchant the ones that never saw play? I'll gladly D/E my second Millhouse Manastorm which I opened again right after I D/E him in first place... 

Not that I need dust for something specific but I ask as for the general "good practice" advice. Because previously it was to keep the legendaries no matter how playable are they, so that you don't open them again if you open more packs from that set. 

Furthermore, I'd gladly D/E any 4 non-playable legendaries to craft one T1 legendary from the crafting guide.

Greetings there! I'm here to present you my version of how I would change Paladins's Core Sets. I'm jumping the bandwagon a bit with the changes after seeing some other people trying their reworks and generally accepting classes may need some updates.

This time, I've put crossfire onto Warrior. While it's very hard to actually do them, please don't think I'm going to make changes for literally every class, altough if I get bored, I might do in near future. Also chose Warrior this time because they have some of the worst cards in the entire game at their disposal (hello, Warsong Commander), aswell as invigorating the class with some new tools.

After today patch Hearthstone Deck Tracker doesn't work anymore. Anybody else?

Yesterday, I played my longest Legends of Runeterra match ever, clocking in at over 40 minutes in Constructed format. I was using a Lux & Heimerdinger deck, my opponent played Lux & Karma.

By the time of about round 7 or 8, my opponent played an Unyielding Spirit to save their Lifesteal Radiant Guardian. In the following turns, I tried to remove the unit twice with Detain and Hextech Transmogulator; both were countered with Will of Ionia.

Luckily, my Luxs and Heimerdingers afforded me with enough board presence to keep things under control, but at the same time, my opponent had a free block plus 5 Nexus health each turn, so I didn't manage to push any meaningful damage through.

The scales started to tip in my favor at about round 15-20 when I used my own Unyielding Spirit first on Heimerdinger, then on Lux. I also managed to amass a good amount of top-end Heimerdinger turrets and killed my opponent's Karma with Final Spark twice.

In the end, after a hard-fought battle, I won the game with one huge attack in the final round, after which I would've won anyway because my opponent had emptied their deck.

I was just wondering if anyone has been playing around with Dragon + Murloc menagerie builds this season and would be willing to share their deck.

I had a Play 3 Rogue games quest today and decided to build around Candle Breath and Skyfin.  It was actually a lot of fun, but my list felt pretty clunky.  So I was wondering if anyone here had a build that they've been optimizing for a bit that I could try out?  (not looking for a competitive deck)

My initial list was this (murlocs early and dragons late) and I only played 3 games against other memers so I didn't get a feel for what was weak/what worked (although drawing a murloc late felt really bad, as is tradition):

I don’t play a lot of HS nowadays, mainly due to the insane lag on mobile. It came to a point I can’t even finish a game without exiting and re-entering the app, and most of my games are ruined.

Does this happen on LoR as well? If not, I might consider playing it instead of HS just for the ability to actually play the game.

  • For example, any Dragon may appear in their human form (assuming they have one)
  • We will also accept characters who stray outside of canon, but make sense in the context of an expansion - for example, Ragnaros, Lightlord

This week linkblade91 wants us to imagine what some Legendaries would be like if they were a little less Neutral.

Just for the sake of discussion, what are your wish lists for Paladin?

For me, here are cards I would like to see in future expansions:

• Early/mid game draw - The best draw engine of Pally is Lay on Hands which cost 8 mana. Compare that to Battle Rage and Skull of Gul'dan, it is significantly weaker.
  • If they want to create a class identity, maybe make the card draw a Libram.
    • Spell: Libram of Insight. 6 mana. Draw 3 cards. - Sprint with Upside -or-
    • Spell: Libram of Insight. 4 mana. Draw 2 cards. - Slower Arcane Intellect with Upside
• Un-situational Good 1 drops - Imprisoned Sungill is a decent card, but isn't as impactful if you aren't running synergy builds. Maybe something like:
  • Minion: 1 mana 1/2 with divine shield. - A sticky minion turn 1, as a possible buff target turn 2.
  • Minion: 1 mana 1/2. Battlecry: Summon a 1/1. - 2 tokens to contest the board. Can synergize with existing cards like Righteous Cause
• More libram discount cards
  • Minion:  1 mana 1/2: Battlecry: Reduce the Cost of your Librams by (1) this game
  • Spell: 3 mana: Draw 2 cards. Reduce the Cost of your Librams by (1) this game

Before going hiatus from HS,  Paladin used to be my favorite class (particularly Mid range paladin before standard started). So my wish list leans towards that archetype.

So I just recently started playing, and I stumbled across a deck build that I really enjoy, but I’m curious how effective it will be as I go up in the rankings?

The deck focuses on using units from the Shadow Isles and Ionia. I use a lot of low cost and ephemeral units, combined with cards like Phantom Prankster, Neverglade Collector, and Scuttlegeist. The result is a deck with the main focus of allying my units to die, so that the enemy takes unblock-able damage; as well as buffing units in my hand and deck. I also I have a lot of Evasive units and spells that deal damage to enemy units. 

My questions are:

How good is this kind of play style as you get higher in the ranking? What are good counters for this kind of deck, and how can you keep from being countered?

The reward for this quest used to be called Ramkahen Roar didn't it or am I just dreaming that? Now apparently its called Pharaoh's Warmask in my collection. Not any functional changes to the card but I never saw this mentioned in any patch notes ever. 

...Since this comes up, and its not really a straight-forward process.  If anyone has a better explanation let me know and I will edit; if any Moderator could sticky this thread it would be appreciated.

1. In the menu section, click on "Deckbuilder" (between "Decks" and "Expansions")
2. On the far right, find the "Import" button.  Paste your deck code into the adjacent field and click "Import".
3. After a short pause, your deck should come up.  At the bottom, give it a Name and an Archetype and click "Save".
4. Your web browser should take you to a new page with your new deck like this: https://outof.cards/legends-of-runeterra/decks/537-battle-scars
5. On that page, find the "Copy BBCode" button and click it.  The code will automatically be copied to your clipboard.
6. In your forum post, paste your clipboard's new contents into your post.  (Alternatively, if you remember the number from the URL of your deck's page, you can manually type it out then highlight it and click the "Runeterra Deck" button to make the code on-the-fly.)

While you're writing the post it should look something like this except with square brackets instead of squiggly brackets:

Again, that's the best way I know.  If anyone knows a simpler way I'd love to hear it.

I'm not saying he needs a nerf, or that he's OP, or anything like that. But he is awfully annoying. :P

What champs do you find very annoying even if they aren't actually broken.

I am struggling mightily against any half-decent SI player, and looking for some general advice on how to approach them.  I've tried to take various approaches against SI decks adjusting for previous ways SI players have beaten me, and it's gotten to a point where I'm losing a majority of SI games one way or the other.  

A major part of the problem for me is trying to "play around" Vengeance and Ruination primarily since I've gotten burned by either building powerful units to see them wiped away with a 7 mana fast spell.  Also, finding myself falling behind by holding onto big units, trying not to overextend myself in the mid/late game (knowing that they can drop a Ruination once I've gained control), as they are amassing & building up units through value plays like Ravenous Butcher or Chronicler of Ruin + The Undying/Cursed Keeper, Shark Chariot, and Barkbeast, etc.  

Most of my wins vs SI are with Noxus/Ionia hyper burn, applying as much pressure as I can early and hoping my early draws win me the match in the first 6-9 rounds which isn't fun or gratifying.  Sometimes I'll simply disregard the existence of Ruination, hoping the other player doesn't draw one and get away with it but I lose a lot of games this way too.

So I recently started playing on mobile. I’ve enjoyed the game, but I want to get some better champions. I’ve earned a few champion pods, but it keeps upgrading them to champion wildcards. Are there any sure fire ways to unlock champions? Can I use wildcards to buy new ones?

I know it can be beaten (mainly by shadow isles ... ). I know there's way around it.

Still, why is such a toxic mechanic in the game? Wether it's op or not (I personally think that buffs are the main problem in terms of those decks being op), playing against mass elusives is EXTREMELY boring, anti-fun and generaly just toxic.

Even if you play the perfect counter deck, if they draw the right buffs at the right time, you'll lose,  no matther what you do. I just played a game where my opponent played Solitary monk on 3 and buffed it +9/+9 with triple Take heart on turn 6 after blocking 1 of my attacks. Unless you play instant  removal from Shadow isles (Vengeance, which would still be a stretch on turn 6) or some gimmicky spells like Purify or Noxian Guillotine, there's is no way you ever ever win that game as any decks even if you play and draw perfectly. 

A mechanic LITERALLY based around avoinding any kind of interactions with your opponent should NEVER be a viable part of a card game.
