I want Spell Druid be a thing this time because I love Crystalsong Portal. I've tried it in a Druid deck that relies on summoning treants with spells like how our lovely friend Rexxar does it with his companions but it didn't go well.
Please Blizzard, Let me use Crystalsong Portal before it leaves standard. :(
This is too much Divine Shield and Divine Shield target cards. I feel like there should be cards like Rallying Blade, Bolvar, Fireblood or Light's Sorrow in standard. That deck needs some cards that doesn't exist in game right now. Maybe in the 2nd expansion of the year or with the upcoming Adventure, who knows.
Well, Who am I to judge Team 5 at the end of the day...
I wonder how Imprisoned Sungill and other dormants will interact with Righteous Cause. If it counts summoned while it is played from your hand or not, i mean.
btw, Isn't Imprisoned minions supposed to be demons or am i overthinking it ?
I mean, Who the hell imprison a little murloc and why ? :|
Somehow, I've skipped the one token restriction part but I can't rework that card because it loses all of its flavour if i do that so I want to craft another one.
Flavor text: "Illidan was born with amber eyes, at the time a sign of a great destiny - however, that destiny brought him an inconsistency."
It is a League of Explorers card which the Discover mechanic has firstly arrived to Hearthstone. However, even if it has discover It works different than it and gives you other two choices instead of the choice you make.
Outcast effect will make you discover minions instead of spells and will make you draw 2 minions that you didn't choose.
I couldn't find better place than Boomsday Project because it is a legendary spell. I know that Legendary spells of boomsday project have some relations with the legendary minions and shares a Lab theme but I really wanted to create a Legendary spell for this Competition so here it is. :)
Rejection of the Gift works different against all classes. You can see tokens at the spoiler below. If you destroy a Legendary class minion, it will give the Destiny of given class below.
Card Tokens
Show Spoiler
Druid Hunter Mage
Paladin Priest Rogue
Shaman Warlock Warrior
Demon Hunter & Neutral
For example, if you destroy an Archmage Antonidas with Rejection of the Gift, it will add a Destiny of the Magic to your hand.
All of the Destiny cards have permanent effects except Destiny of the Hunt. I didn't want to give permanent effect for neutral legendaries just because it is more common to appear in games and also didn't want to give permanent effect against demon hunters because I think that it is more flavourful with this way.
I'm also open to all suggestion of balancing stuff etc.
Edit: Destiny of the Light should be read as "Your spells that deals damage now also restores health that much 'to your hero'." I will change it after a bit. Don't have time right now. :)
I don't even put this to my deck ! Some 10-mana spells will do the trick. ;)
That's the card you don't usually put your deck but get its benefit just because it exists. I like this kind of cards. Also I like vice-versa too. A high-cost minion with crap body but powerful battlecry or something. Like Keli'dan the Breaker for example. Since there are mechanics like King Phaoris and Evolve, it is the best way to punish and reward your plays both.
You can have 5 Gatherings at the same time so why don't you create five 8-hour-long Gatherings that will give you 40 hour of Firseside Gathering time ? My sleeping hours a bit weird and I can't know when I will be awake so I did as i described just because to guarantee my Gathering. :D
You can spare it for the whole weekend and wait for it. :)
Ah for your question, It is between April 3rd - 5th iirc.
That deck was quite rare to see but so powerful and successful and easy to make you at least diamond rank. I assume that this change was a bit needed because there are so much ways to summon Spiderlings and everytime they come, They are buffed as hell. I guess they want to decrease its earlier power level and even better at late game which is quite reasonable when i think of that deck.
So, Crowd might not know about Iceborn Legacy's power level because, you know crowd only follows their leaders(streamers) and netdecks most of the time. If that deck did shined with some popular streamers, You could see some QQ threads around reddit or somewhere else that calls Iceborn Legacy should have been nerfed to the hell.
Baku and Justicar will upgrade your Hero Power to give +2 Attack, while Genn will do absolutely nothing. (Source)
Finley will be able to offer the upgraded Demon Hunter Hero Power. I think it's implied that OG Finley will offer the Basic Hero Power as well. (Source)
The wording is sort of vague, but I believe you won't be able to use Demon Hunter in any Dungeon Run style adventure. Any adventure that has you building your own deck is fair game. (Source) (As an aside on this one, I believe they've said in the past that they don't intend to update the Dungeon Run style adventures with new cards. Each is intended to be experienced 'as it was', so to speak. I don't feel like trawling to try and find a source for that one, however.)
Well, We finally got a new class in the game, I was waiting for this so long and I had some stuff that I'm looking forward to do when a new class produced.
I always liked the class interactions with another classes such as like Burgle Rogue and Steal Priest. I'm always a fan to play with other classes cards with another one because there are some weird and funny interactions with their cards. So one of the first things that i will do is building a Burgle Rogue and a Steal Priest to play at first days of the expansion since I will wait for crafting some cards to see how the meta shapes and a lot of changes that Priest will get, it will be quite nice to play at first days and I believe that it feels quite new with Demon Hunter release and Priest changes.
Secondly; I really wonder how it will be to play Arena with a different class than we had before. I will rush Arena runs with Demon Hunter as much as possible even if it sucks. It will be also quite refreshing after those years.
Thirdly, I can't do anything unless Blizzard offers it but I really wonder how it will be to play two-class Arena runs with Demon Hunter + Some other class. Demon Hunter + Warlock might be great, Demon Hunter + Rogue could be great aswell. I really wonder how they will interact with each other.
Fourthly, It is more like a request but I really want a Tavern Brawl Overhaul. I mean, like in Fireside Gatherings, There could be some options and brawls to choose and there are so much kind of Brawls after those years. It will be like choices of 5 that rotates every week. First week for example as;
Cart Crash will be great with Demon Hunter for my tastes for example and Everyone needs to wait Team 5's justifying to play their favorite Brawl. If there would be options and overhaul to the Tavern, it would be quite nice for everyone i guess. Oh, ofc some of you might say that "Who the fuck cares brawl, I just play to get my free pack." it is also another taste of play, I am none to judge you but I find it funny to play extra brawls and some adventure runs from time to time.
And lastly, Do a lot of Theorycrafting with Demon Hunter, from shittiest to best one. I will try every card of it even if it just crap on paper. I mostly want to try it in Wild with older cards. I really wonder how they balanced the class with older cards (I guess they didn't care a bit but I really don't care aswell because it is wild, Everything can happen in any time. :) )
So, What you guys are looking forward to do ? Will you skip this milestone of CCGs and keep playing your main classes ? or will you jump the train ? Are you looking forward to do something with new class ? Let us know ! :)
no matter what it will be played widely on launch even it sucks so hard because it is the first new class/region that has been introduced after those years of CCGs, even MTG didn't do that in those years. It opens a lot of deckbuilding slots, new interactions, new identity etc. but Team 5 really wants it to be played in the first "tournament" after the expansion release, it is obvious. If the class sucks, playerbase probably continue to play with it no matter what but if it sucks, it can't be in tournaments and it will be a bad marketing strategy for them :)
Comparable to Possessed Lackey but without Voidlord or Doomguard, its nowhere near its power level. Also, because the deathrattle summons a demon from your hand means you have to first draw the card which makes it fair enough.
Getting Pit Commander is obviously very good. But with so many Zephrys the Great around, this may not be as optimal as thought. Especially since it has no deathrattle itself, means its just a one taunt, not adequate protection against aggro decks.
Also, this card allows your opponent to get a card off your hand. But its massive attack is bafflingly good. If there's no spells for it, either take it down and lose a minion, or face tank 8 damage. Wonder what person tested this card and thought 8 damage would be remotely fair on this minion.
More like;
Comparable with Voidcaller (..ehm.. look at the texts and catch another inconsistency sadly) but without Mal'Ganis its nowhere near its power level. Voidcaller has also demon tag which means it can summon itself from hand but Fel Summoner can't, which might be sometimes good, sometimes bad. It was bad when you want Mal'Ganis on board but it summons itself so Fel Summoner might be better than Voidcaller because it will bring the board what you want instead of bringing itself.
I know this is a bit of early for asking these questions but I think that maybe i missed some answers of them around web and maybe you know some of them so I wanted to ask here. If you know any answers or any information that has been answered by development team, please share with sources. Also, if you have some questions like me, just ask it. I will add it here if it is an unanswered one.
I will edit the post if we got some answers with source.
I will spare them on titles as; Standard and Wild.
What happens if we play Justicar Trueheart with Demon Hunter ? I mean, Will there be an upgraded Hero Power for Demon Hunter aswell ? I'm asking this because we see some cards that interacts with upgraded hero powers like; Sir Finley of the Sands etc. So I assume we might see some in future aswell.
Another question for Upgraded Hero Power. What will happen if we use Baku the Mooneater in an Odd Demon Hunter deck ? Also will Genn Greymane and Even-cost archetype be completely useless for Demon Hunter ?
It won't probably but, Will Demon Hunter can use one of the MSoG's crime family cards ?
Misc. This question is a bit personal question and more like a request with the hope that someone from Blizzard reads here just because I love to play Dungeon Run, Rumble Run etc.
Do we able to play older adventures with Demon Hunter. I mean, I know we can play with constructed decks in some adventures but i meant the dungeon-type adventures and we will be offered to choose demon hunter to start withor not.
Also, It would be so nice if older adventures such as Rumble Run and Dungeon Run have future support and get some offers for newer cards. I'm playing Dungeon runs from time to time and it is really sad to see that There are not cards that released after Kobolds & Catacombs.
While comparing this card with Reno the Relicologist You guys are skipping that Reno the Relicologist has an instant effect, so if minions don't die, you can ping or use another spell.
This card doesn't guarantee how it deals damage. I'm not saying here you can't set the things up for your favor but pointing that it is still an "At the end of your turn" effect which can do absurd things thanks to rng.
Card is good, I'm not saying it is a bad card but comparing it with Reno the Relicologist bothers me a bit. I personally think that an effect like this doesn't need a condition, if it has been a battlecry, then it would need a condition in my opinion. I'm in the same boat with Blizzard at this time.
I want Inner Fire completely deleted. Divine Spirit wouldn't be problem without it, but i really got bored to see that card after those years and we will continue to see it in Wild + Standard. :(
yeah, probably like The Darkness, if the opponent discards a candle, you re just doomed, same with magtheridon i guess.
If your opponent doesn't have 3 rooms on board, just don't play him. Transforming warders also make magtheridon stay dormant completely and your opponent will have only 6 rooms for the game.
I want Spell Druid be a thing this time because I love Crystalsong Portal. I've tried it in a Druid deck that relies on summoning treants with spells like how our lovely friend Rexxar does it with his companions but it didn't go well.

I feel like some Divine Shield synergistic cards are missing for the Dragon/murloc archetype in standard with

Well, Who am I to judge Team 5 at the end of the day...
You guys seem to forget about Blade Dance while evaluating Inner Demon.
I mean, it is basically "Destroy three 8/8 minions and still do 8 damage to the face." Edit: for 10 mana.
it shouldn't tbh.
One thins your deck, the other one doesn't.
One is controllable, the other one is just random.
I wonder how Imprisoned Sungill and other dormants will interact with Righteous Cause. If it counts summoned while it is played from your hand or not, i mean.
btw, Isn't Imprisoned minions supposed to be demons or am i overthinking it ?

Good addition for my King Phaoris.
