I can only imagine, but I guess it's because the mode is new and bringing a caster with zero experience could lead the other one (Frodan) to explain some interactions that we already know (in fact, I watched the first 20 minutes of the stream and the new guy kept asking questions to Frodan in order to understand what was going on).
It's not something that affects us "experienced" (ope beta has been out for like 10 days, but you get my point) players, but rather occasional players or even new ones.
In my opinion Dragonbane is an insane addition to Mech Hunter: as you can see, if we don't consider Galvanizer shenanigans the only possible options for turn 4 are Explodinator (proactive, since it doesn't immediately affect the board), Replicating Menace (needs a Mech in play, which isn't impossible, but you'd want to make it stick for a while) or 3 drop + 1 drop/2 drop + hero power.
Dragonbane has good chances to survive, immediately affects the board and is a great base to magnetize stuff on: Wargear is good, Venomizer is cool, Zilliax is a nice combo that will see play in Highlander Hunter too.
I think this is a 4 star card: a good addition to every hunter deck even without insane synergy.
I've played a decent amount of Sathrovarr by myself and these are my impressions:
totally of the charts in combination with Shirvallah, the Tiger, but I guess everyone saw it coming. To a major extent it creates a great tempo swing if combined with any zero mana minion that immediately affects the board. That's the reason why I tried to combine it with Mulchmuncher too: the results weren't bad at all, but in order to work you have to put so many bad cards in your deck that it's not worth it.
We're in (Quest) Shamanstone, so if you control more than 3 minion each time you're (almost) doomed (yay Mind Control Tech is a fun card!): in this situation Sathrovarr would be reliably good only if you have just 1 minion in play at the beginning of your turn or if you can somehow end up with less than with considering the 5/5 and the summoned copy. Pretty hard in some situation, pretty ok in others.
If you're behind you can't afford at all to play it: losing an entire turn kills you most of the times, and that makes Sathrovarr kinda winmore in most cases.
Necroing this thread just to gloat and feel vindicated:
"I think with Shaman currently, there's some gameplay patterns that we aren't the most happy with, I think when you do have an eight-Mana minion that you evolved [from] a Mogu Fleshshaper on turn four, that's not a healthy gameplay pattern. I think that's going to be a card going into Descent of Dragons that we're definitely going to keep an eye on.
I think when it comes to some of these effects that cheat Mana and do things like that early on, that's something that we're looking at as a team and we're making sure that these effects aren't ruining your gameplay experience. So, we are definitely aware of it, and we're definitely going to be keeping our eye on a few cards going into the next expansion to see how their power level shakes out." - Alec Dawson
Even if they end up not nerfing Mogu, it's just mighty ironic to hear game devs echo the kinds arguments that get you dismissed as a whiny loser by a certain section of the community.
I mean, that's the nature of an argument, some people will disagree until proven wrong. And since that happened now...I guess I win?
Well to be fair we all lost, since we had to endure this situation until now and we will have to see Mogu Fleshshaper + Mutate for another 1 month and a half
B-b-but there's a guy on Reddit (which definitely doesn't play Shaman, if you get what I mean) that said Mogu Fleshshaper is fine the way it is because there's a chance you can get Hir'eek, the Bat.
On a serious note, yeah it doesn't take a genius to understand that it's a minion that can lead to polarizing turn swings (even without Evolve, which is a problem by itself but it would be stupid to nerf it just because Standard got to play with it once again for a limited time).
What triggers me the most is that, during Rastakhan's Rumble, we were promised more balance changes if needed and now we're back to 1 every 4 months.
Oh well, guess I'll have to put up with being called a squishy mortal till the end of the year then...
I wonder if this will end up a sleeper: I mean, it looks so bad at first glance.
There must be some synergy we don't know yet

That's a clever statement: well played.
Well I personally hope we'll get one Neutral Legendary, a dragon and a cool Common/Rare.
Imagine not rooting for a team with the first HS world champion ever.

Ah yes, Standard mode... Is it still a thing?

Yes, but it does pop both Rat Trap and Cat Trick
Oh yeah: it's been two weeks since Blizzcon and we haven't received any further card release yet.
Even if it's not the same, seeing a review helps to chip away some time and to keep the interest in what will come in 25 days.
Really on point guys.
In that way no one would play ladder then
I've played a decent amount of Sathrovarr by myself and these are my impressions:
It should arrive today or at worst tomorrow, but who knows
Another 29 days of healthy meta game my friend
Priest - Anduin (I'm really looking forward to get the 1k portrait since it looks so badass to me)
Druid - Lunara (will switch to Golden Malfurion once I get to 500 wins)
Rogue - Valeera (no big reasons to change)
Paladin - Arthas (although 1k Uther is dank: I'll decide when it will be time)
Hunter - Rexxar (hands down best golden animation)
Mage - Jaina (looking forward to get the 1k: little tits, big beauty)
Warlock - Gul'dan (not a fan of the 1k portrait, but it's not bad at all: golden Gul'dan looks dank though)
Warrior - Garrosh (fuck that fatass Magni, kinda unbothered by the 1k portrait)
Shaman - Morgl (will switch to Thrall once I get to 1k wins)
Meanwhile in Hearthstone...
Man 10th December better be coming soon cause I'm really losing interest about the game right now.
I don't know if I should laugh or cry.
Right now, basically any Battlecry minion (except for stuff like Ornery Tortoise) is a must kill if you're playing against Shaman
Deathwing, Mad Aspect says hi

Whaat? Seriously?
Quick games, a decent amount of SMOrc and a helluvalot of MRGLGLGL: it's definitely a decent brawl to farm some sweet gold.
