Just fucking rotate Mind Control Tech. Literally one of the most punishing cards ever printed. No one will ever miss that card. Fuck that.
So you can mindless flood the board, when you are ahead? Good idea...not.
Let's be honest, if you face swarm decks you play removals and not MCT. If you go back with your mind to January 2019, when ZooLock, Midrange Hunter, Odd Paladin and Odd Rogue were rampant, there wasn't a single deck using that card (maybe some weird Odd Warrior lists run one copy of it, but that's all): no, you preferred to use Dragonmaw Scorcher, Primordial Drake, Psychic Scream, Volcano, Reckless Flurry, Spirit Lash and such.
There's a reason that little shit got banned from arena months ago: having 4 minions on board is not flooding, is spreading and actually fighting for the control of it.
So many wins with so many classes... I'm truly amazed.
My only golden hero is Anduin (666, so ironic lol), followed by Rexxar (413), Valeera (189) and... that's it. All the other classes are below 100 wins.
One reason of these records might be the fact that for the first year I played mostly in Casual mode, whereas I don't go there since June: playing stupid stuff at rank 5 is a lot more rewarding than doing it in Casual.
I guess I'll have to grind a lot to get even a single new portrait!
It perfectly pairs up with the event that occurred this summer: I live in CEST time zone and it was live from 1:00 am to 8:00 am or so (I don't remember it perfectly, but it was in deep night).
I guess that if you right that comment it means the situation is the same to you now, right?
Unfortunately there will always be a portion of the player base that will be shafted by the scheduled time, so it's better overall to "rotate".
The eight mana slot has been the sweet spot for evolves and such for ages, but this is probably one of the strongest pools ever. I say probably only because The Lich King is no longer in standard. It's a fair point to raise that Mogu probably would be considerably weaker as a 6 mana 3/3 or 8 mana 4/4 even if it kept the discount mechanic simply because it'd roll into considerably worse minion pools.
Another solution would be to consider just friendly minions for its discount effect: it will still evolve into an 8 drop, but it will come much later and its cost won't be reduced below 2

First scenario: Sacrificial Pact does not exist - now for Lord Jaraxxus to be played you need a worthy Standard Warlock deck that can actually benefit from him, so let's say a Midrange archetype. However, I don't see one currently and I don't expect it to pop up right now even if Sacrificial Pact is removed from the game. Maybe a good MidLock can be built with the upcoming return of Imp Gang Boss, but in a world where you can get King Krush or even Ragnaros the Firelord for 7 mana + another body, I don't see Lord jaraxxus to be played for 9 mana without having an immediate impact on the game (you technically just pass your turn hoping not to die, which is really unlikely unless you're that fare ahead not to actually need Jaraxxus to win). The biggest problem is that it caps your health total to 15, which is incredibly low since you can't even go back to 30 like with Alexstrasza.
Second scenario: Sacrificial Pact cannot target Lord Jaraxxus - based on what I previously said, it's not that jaraxxus is OP and Sac Pact is holding him back from being played in every single deck. Right now Jaraxxus wouldn't see play even if Sac Pact wasn't card. Moreover, if you change this interaction you'll render a very situational card even less reliable.
I'll make an example, even though it's the opposite case, but express very well what I want to say: Holy Wrath is an incredibly bad card with 0% chance to see play in a "normal" paladin deck. 5 mana draw a card and deal some damage is not good, moreover since you have Hammer of Wrath that (on average) does the same for one less mana. The only upside of said spell is the interaction with Shirvallah, the Tiger (and Molten Giant before Rastakhan's Rumble), which can win you games (OTK Pala has been brought several times to several tournaments, so it's more than a simple meme). Now, imagine a person saying: "well, Shirvallah, the Tiger totally breaks Holy Wrath; the Devs should make it so that this spell won't be able to target face." The best answer would be: "that's a single interaction that won't stay in Standard forever and that exploits a singular card that wouldn't see any play otherwise."
That's exactly what Lord Jaraxxus/[Hearthstone Card (Sacrifical Pact) Not Found] is: it's not that the former doesn't see play because of the latter (and because of Zephrys the Great), or better, it's not just because of that.
The major problem is just that it's a bad card and there are tons of better options: if you want him to see play, you have to make it better overall so that people will accept the risk of being Sac Pact when they play it; and right now, Jaraxxus is by far not worth it.
I vote to have this list added to the top of the thread ASAP. I just got scammed myself, and it turns out the battletag was on that blacklist.
I sent the first challenge, intending it to be a proof challenge, but they accepted instead of declined. I feel like a complete fucking idiot for not backing out of the deck selection.
Sorry to hear that m8. Remember the game doesn't count for the quest unless one of you is below 15 health when it ends, so you can concede any time before then and retain your quest.
Never knew that. I just thought that, like me, my opponent wanted to play out the game.
I'm not sure trading is worth it anymore. I play on NA, and lately it's been taking forever to find an opponent to trade with. Last time I think it took two weeks. Now that I think about it, I was probably too eager to get it out of the way, as it had already been three days, and that left me more vulnerable to getting scammed.
There's a specific thread on Reddit for quest trade purposes too: when you get one, you should create a post both here and there.
Tbh I am never using that thread again, got scammed once and it's enough if I need anyone to do the 80 gold quest I will just trade with my friends who normally play with me with theirs when they have it. Prefer to gain half the gold than to give it to jerks.
That's totally comprehensible, but it's really a shame that you have to get less than you could just because some players are scumbags that want to fool others. Even if I didn't do anything to cause that, I feel sorry for you.
"23 cards from across Hearthstone history have been unsealed from Wild and unleashed by the Headless Horseman! Until our next major update, these cards are stepping out of Wild and will be playable in Standard matches."
We know for sure that said cards will be in Standard till the end of the month, so I guess that by "major update" Blizzard means those which aren't just routine patches for performance or maintenance.
Edit: actually, Chris Attalus (the Community Manager) just confirmed that the Wild cards will stay in Standard till the new expansion (source)
Edit 2: the portraits will be added with Tuesday's patch (source)
I want to know... can i shard everything and then get these?
No.
I quote the article Blizzard posted:
"These cards will be considered "event" cards, which essentially means that they're temporary copies and not permanent additions to your collection. Even if you already own the cards, you'll still receive these event copies. When the event ends they'll disappear, just like the Headless Horseman himself!"
I won't hit you with the "learn to read" line, but man... lol
While I agree with you on this point, you also have to consider that Warrior has premium removals like Brawl, Warpath and Shield Slam, which can deny your opponent's plays for the first turns of the match without the urge of playing minions.
I found Poghouse Manastorm in the Brawl pack: now I can finally start playing chad decks

I'm sorry my friend, but it will last till the new expansion in December.
Well, Zeprhys is so good that even some duplicates lists run it (Quest Druid, Murloc Paladin, Holy Wrath Paladin and, apparently, Mecha'thun Warlock)
So many wins with so many classes... I'm truly amazed.

Ah, yes: I was looking forward for something like this since I unpacked my second Splitting Axe
I've played a few games and here's my question: is just one Bloodlust enough?

Nhaa you didn't get what I wanted to say: you gave me so much stuff that I would be a shame if I didn't even try the game
Too much info to not even try the game

The final combo is Mecha'thun + Innervate + Naturalize so no, it's not a NEW combo.
I just don't get why they brought Corrupt Garrosh: is this a wow lore reference I'm too dumb to understand?
Rexxar's face seems to come from the Looney Toons
Okay, let's discuss it one step at time.

Stop fucking posting on this thread: you just want to scam people! There's literally a thread going on for your behavior.
People like you, who take advantage of others' ingenuity, are a disgrace for this community.
I wonder why no admin has taken a position yet, since we have multiple testimonies and even proofs of his scam attempts!!
