I like all of the changes except Barnes. It doesn't fix the problem with Big Priest, it just makes its bad matchups vs aggro worse. Big Priest in general is just an awful deck to exist in the game; it's extremely polarizing and repetitive to play against.
Check out a video from RDU, he hit legend rank 1 with that deck a couple days ago and explains it in depth.
I play it myself atm (rank 1, about to hit legend) and for me the key was greedy secret mulligan and aggressive playstile.
Brann on turn 7 is stupid strong.
Zephrys is allways insane. I use him mostly for swing turns and for lethals of course.
And finally, secrets are hard to play correctly. If done well, it‘s very rewarding but it can backfire. Consider what your opponent thinks and play some mindgames with him. The matchup is also important.
This. I played about 60 games with it to Legend, it's reallly strong as long as you play secrets correctly
Taking out the secret payoff cards (Secretkeeper, Hyena Alpha, Subject 9, Sunreaver Spy) seems sketchy. The main thing that makes Highlander Hunter good is that they can run the secret package to get a fast start, and then end the game as early as possible with Zephrys the Great, Dinotamer Brann or Zul'jin. Taking out those tempo cards in place of a bunch of high cost minions goes against what makes Brann good.
I think Malygos Hunter can work for sure, but I probably wouldn't go the highlander route. The payoff just doesn't seem as valuable as it is for normal Secret Hunter.
I feel personally attacked friend, considering you downvoted all of my decks. Even accused me before of falsely advertising my decks, when I didn't list any winrates or even say the deck was powerful.
You know what other type of people were annoying on Hearthpwn? Hypocrites.
I'm not your friend, I didn't downvote your stuff, and I do believe you thought you had an awesome deck with 10 matches played. I'm not attacking you. I think you are generous in sharing your decks and don't make these silly "80% win rate" decks that are getting uploaded on here. You're responsible and your budget deck ideas are especially awesome and helpful. I have nothing against you. Why do you think I downvoted all your stuff? I have not! I did not accuse you of falsely advertising anything. I said I was tired of hype.
I do think you like picking on me recently. Why are you even interested in anything I have to say. I'm a total nobody. I really think, if you care that much about my opinion, that you should just keep on going with your deck sharing. You are not one of the "bad ones."
Have you seen the headlines with "80% win rate?" That's the shit I'm irritated with. It's harmful.
Still not getting why you think I downvoted your stuff. I actually upvoted a lot of your decks in the budget area because you have some great ideas. You do not falsely advertise and I never said you did. I said I don't like hype
Interesting. All of my decks get downvotes minutes after you angrily respond to one of my comments, and then just a few minutes ago all of those downvotes are reversed?
I dunno, man. I mean, I get what you're saying--I'm a little disappointed in that I haven't really found any "cool" decks on this site too--but it sounds like your post reads like a call to the outof.cards staff to police what decks show up and/or how they are described. I think all these sites are essentially crowd-sourcing the review process, and I think they are depending on that as part of their business model. (Otherwise you're looking at something like a Hsreplay model, where all the "good stuff" is pay-walled off so that they can generate an additional revenue stream beyond donations and advertisement.) That would imply its really up to us community members to be a little more disciplined, resisting the urge to give additional weight to decks from charismatic streamers or click-baity titles and instead evaluate them on their merit.
I'm not asking for a total police job. But this site would be so totally different from Hearthpwn without deck headlines like "80% winrate" then you click on it and see the person won 80% of matches out of 10 or 20 matches.
The community doesn't need to be disciplined. The community is the consumer. The content provider needs to be disciplined first. The consumer consumes the content.
I have found lots of cool decks on this site. Lots. I don't think you get what I'm saying. There are lots of awesome decks shared on here. And they are responsibly shared. There are also a lot crap posts with "80% winrate" as the headline and the deck isn't much to talk about.
I'd like there to be more awesome and less blah.
Are you feeling me now? It's not all bad. Could be better and different.
Just flipped through the first 3 pages of decks, none of them list a winrate in the title.

I would totally play this if it wasn't 23k dust.
Do you have a screenshot? No idea what you're talking about.
Put as much effort as you can into deck guides. It won't always work, but it does make people a lot more likely to upvote your stuff.

Aw, that's cool that he's streaming with his daughter. Also: nice changes, but warrior better be changed as well.
Got Finley as the uldum one
Seems like I hit some pity timers too:
Archmage Arugal
Bwonsamdi, the Dead
Princess Talanji
Stop it. Get some help.
Warrior bad.
Cool deck, gotta love the shenanigans [Hearthstone Card (Shudderwok) Not Found] enables.
You don't get to be a troll, whine about getting downvoted, and then blame the mods in the same sentence.
You reap what you sow.
This is really creative, nice work.
No news yet, I'd start saving gold anyway though.

Might be the most creative deck of the expansion, pretty cool stuff.
How exactly did I generate a ton of fake hype? By just posting a budget deck in general?
I actually went 9-1 with this deck at rank 2.
