OMG, it's so adorable I want one! (heavily biased)
Art aside, it may see some experimentation but will probably only shine after the standard rotation. It's definitely good against big minion decks like Guff/Clown Druid... but that's about it, unless they add more discard support again.
Really great guide on pack selection. Think I've spent too many gems on Revival of Legends but ended up getting The Azure of the Ivory secret pack so many times I managed to make an All Blue-Eyes deck (Seto Kaiba would be proud 😁)
Instead of "Your battlecries trigger twice" maybe make it so "Your Battlecries with a cost <4 trigger twice" or something like that.
There's been treasures in the past that only work on the first minion you play, think Rocket Backpacks. So maybe Battle Totem and Totem of the Dead should be: "The first minion you play each turn...
Very extensive and informative duels article, well done.
Side note: Shadow Word: Void by itself can win games when you drop a 7+ health minion and don't have access to board clears. Blizzard needs to redesign this card coz the nerf isn't fixing the actual problem with the treasure.
You know the card is a problem when a priest can AFK for the first 3 turns and just play this one card and win the game.
All we know is that we wouldn't expect this seemingly innocent Wildheart Guff to be a devoted follower of the Old Gods, but evidently appearances can be greatly deceiving.
🤣This cracked me up, definitely the most apt description of Ramp druid.
Do hope these prediction are right. Always love me some dragons and dragon mage was so much fun back in DoD. The Lady Prestor and Kazakus storyline should be concluded in the mini-set and do hope we get another Onyxia legendary.
Oh btw, prediction for mini-set launch is 10th of Feb. I know I'm right 😁
I'd really like to know if Dean would answer this question in one of his Q&As: Please can you explain how the QA process works for patches and how many QA guys in each team/mode?
My assumption is they only test the "new stuff" added to the game, for eg: the buddies, Dek'thar/Vanndar in duels etc. I'm sure there's also some miscellaneous stuff they test as well.
This testing approach isn't sustainable though and I'd really love to know if automated regression testing is possible in the HS client. Not too clued up on Unity but I'm sure test automation is possible in their framework (as it's becoming the norm for many tech stacks). Regression testing goes a long way to check every single feature in the client, every patch and would help reduce these bugs before players encounter them. Most of these bugs are functional as they appear across all platforms, which means testing on desktop should be enough to find them. Ofc, a sanity test on devices should be done too.
I know this from experience where my software company treats live bugs as major issues. To me, sounds like Blizzard isn't really bothered about them.
Started playing this game yesterday and greatly appreciated the tutorial coz my memory of the yugioh rules were pretty rusty 😅 Vaguely remember playing the RL TCG in school and watching the anime. So far I'm pleasantly enjoying the experience and wow, when I went to the collection manager, I had no idea there were like over 9000 cards 😜 Guess this game is 23 years old after all
So some background to the name of this card: First memed about in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HtvIYRrgZ04 then added as a voice line to Raid Leader. Quite fitting though, considering the origin
All I can say is...
Lol, that build number is Leet 🤣
Trivia time: Onyxia's lair was also a WOW TCG raid deck (Which is actually still have funny enough 😁)

Omg! They finally added the Deathling!
It is indeed Lady Prestor's Staff
DRAGONS INCOMING!

The article thumbnail is pretty accurate too
Excelling timing on this meta update 👍
Been waiting for some good Drek'thar and Vanndar decks to try out

RIP Tamsin Roame 🤣 Horde get offered 3 HPs while Alliance get offered 4

Hunter was the most played class during Rastakhan's Rumble, probably due to Master's Call and the new spell only archetype that was introduced.
Now this is some true nostalgia!
BRM: Everyone! Get in here!
TGT: Who am I? None of your business
GvG: Dr. 7
Did you notice the art of Unstable Magic is a polymorphed Reno, can't stop laughing at that 🤣
Just something to note about the card back Dancing Lion. It was the winner of an art competition last year: https://outof.cards/hearthstone/2611-winner-of-the-hearthstone-china-card-back-competition-the-winners-card-back-is-being-added-to-the-game
Definitely a chunky update to 4 games modes. I'm sure this will keep us busy till the mini-set launch
