Well more fuel for the Quest Warrior is the obvious point here. At least it's 7 mana and will be a lot slower than current quest warrior which is a good thing. Could even incentivize a control Quest Warrior where the quest is completed a lot later in the game. We've seen how that's turned out in the past though, but maybe Nellie here could turn that around with her 1 mana pirates you get to choose
Very cool design for the Colossal mechanic and this guy is also a beast, so there will be beast synergies there too. I'm sure Wildheart Guff will love to include Colaque
Will be interesting to see how many good mechs return to standard with the core set. This is one of those cards that require the Dredge mechanic or it's way too slow for the reward. Definitely seems like the "sunken" and Dredge mechanics are more value/control orientated which is always welcomed.
Probably going to be my favorite card out of the expansion. Love the art, it's so adorable and the anti-aggro aspect with good stats is gonna piss off all the aggro decks, and I love that too 😁
This guy is going to be scary throughout it's existence in standard. Might even restrict the design space for holy spells. The fact that it's a 2 mana legendary also means it'll be very easy to play him and weave in some holy spells to buff the other minions on your board.
We'd have to wait for the core set changes to see what other holy spells Paladin will get
So this spell can't really go infinite and we'd need more mana reduction, so right now it just seems like a worse Libram of Wisdom which honestly is a good thing
Probably a bad card at the beginning of the expansion when everyone wants to try Dredge decks but it's still decent disruption regardless. Putting a card back into the deck doesn't trigger deathrattles and it's a good temporary removal with a body
It'll be great if we get a "sunken" murloc and it's decent with the new Gigafin. Muclock support hasn't been a thing for a while, so definitely welcome it back
Sir Finley, Sea Guide will be bonkers in Quest DH, if it's any good next expansion. And good thing they get this as a much cheaper replacement for Glide. Will definitely be paired with Ambassador Faelin and other "Sunken" cards
As shown in the reveal video, if your opponent removes the main minion, it's not that good. It's a creative design for a board clear but not that exciting for a legendary minion. I did like how the stats are swapped for the appendage. Might see some experimentation if warlock's other board clears don't perform well in the new meta.
Really great value card for control decks. Still requires some Dredge cards but I'm sure we'll get more cards with that mechanic and I'm fairly certain we'll get a Dredge card that also draws the Dredged card.
So I've played against this card already in Tavern Brawl and have to say it's pretty lackluster. Was easily able to remove it without triggering it's affect, so it's probably best to play it on an empty board when your opponent can't remove it with minion damage.
It's probably a good tech card against Ramp/Spell Druid or Quest Hunter, coz they barely play any minions.
Just don't play Blademaster Okani when your opponent already has minions on board, coz then he just soft taunts your opponent to kill it first
Very cool colossal design for this legendary. Also mentioned above, there's many ways DH can summon Xhilag of the Abyss earlier than expected. Also a good colossal minion to get from Ambassador Faelin, but ofc we'll need to wait till we see them all before deciding which is the best one
OMG, Flipper Friends is the cutest card of the set, the tokens are even more adorable!

lol, at this moment in time (19th Mar) Druid has gone full casino with 777 mana cards
Here's a full image of this super creepy murloc

Will 100% see play in standard...till the 2nd expansion of the year is released.
Discover a spell for mage is always an auto include. Quest Mage might even be forced to run some minions for once, that will be a sight.

Seeing the pirate tag makes me cringe, but guess we'll be getting more pirates anyway seeing as it's a sea based expansion.
Simple card to showcase the new mechanic, will probably see play in Quest Warrior but that's it

I like how you describe it, I was thinking it's more along the line of Gigafin's Maw is actually Gigafin's ass 😅

Lots of Dredging happening with this guy
