  • Well this is an interesting Nature spell for priest. Would've thought this would fit more with Druid flavor-wise but ofc, the 9 mana board clear is always expected for Priest. 

    I wouldn't want to play this when I have minions on my side of the board, so it's more like a catch-up board clear when your side has no minions.

  • Well, this will be fun card, even more so in wild. I'm sure there will be a few mechs in the core set, so Mecha-Shark will definitely see play.

  • 2 mana draw 2 is good, but the restriction is that this spell can only be played in a naga deck, which we don't know if it'll be good yet. You'd ideally want to be playing a bunch of naga, not just 1 or 2, coz you want the consistency of drawing two cards

  • Pretty mediocre legendary, but it is value, so maybe a big spell mage might use this? Highly doubtful as it'd be way too slow. Maybe a small spell mage deck, lets say if Mana Cyclone was added to the core set, it might be good.

  • Oh boy, pairing Twinbow Terrorcoil with Raj Naz'jan would be scary. I'd imagine the damage from both spells would damage the opponent, so possibly an OTK hunter archetype coming

  • This legendary minion will be a menace during it's entire time in standard. Every expansion a good hunter spell gets printed, this guy will become even more powerful. I'd imagine quite a few OTK hunter decks forming due to this terror. Quest hunter is an obvious archetype where this minion can slot in, but maybe a naga/spell focused OTK hunter could rise from the sea depths

  • So basically Embiggen with no minion cost increase. And if you play Aquatic Form you can play both Azsharan Gardens and Sunken Gardens on turn 2. Pretty busted for an aggro/token druid

  • Such a cute and powerful card, considering we have multiple cards in standard like Jerry Rig Carpenter, Pathmaker and Raid Negotiator. We also have Pride Seeker which reduces the cost of this spell to 3. 

    Will definitely see play

  • Crazy draw engine for Druid and a big spell that would synergize with Hedra the Heretic. Worst case the minion with taunt summoned is a 3/3 but this card will likely be in a Guff deck whose draw is decent, so most times the minion will be bigger.

  • Well this will be an auto-include in every druid deck going forward. Extremely flexible and the only time it isn't good is when you play it one turn 1 and don't have the mana to draw the card you want.

  • So kinda like a King Phaoris except you want to play the big spells instead of keeping them in hand. Might find a home in a Guff deck, but a lot of good big spells like Cenarion Ward and Survival of the Fittest are leaving standard.

    Ofc we have to wait for the core set and the rest of the cards to make a proper evaluation of this card

  • I'm optimistic about this minion purely coz the Sunken Defector has charge, and we all know how that mechanic is insane. Other than that, it's probably too slow and won't see play unless you really want to play a dredge DH deck

  • We'd need to see a gameplay video coz I'm not 100% sure if it's just the weapons that get +2 attack, or if the rush minions get it too. Regardless, this is a solid Colossal minion that will see play

  • Well it's definitely got the Pirate and stealth flavor but I honestly don't see what kind of rogue deck would want this card. It's 5 mana which is a high price for rogue, even if the Sunken Vessel is a Cast When Drawn spell.

    It's playable and may see some experimentation, definitely not OP for an epic

  • Wish these lackluster effects were printed on rare cards instead of epics 😓

    No idea what deck would utilise this, but having to play 3 spells just for a 3 damage AOE in the late game is bad. Most of the time minions will be too high health and wouldn't you just play AOE spells to remove minions instead of playing this?

  • So if Miracle Priest with Bless is playable in Standard, this legendary will see play, and it'll be terrifying. 

    It will probably break wild too, but I see it as a high skill, high APM card similar to what APM mage was before the Sorc nerf

    5 stars all round, coz a zero cost legendary will always be bonkers

  • Probably the shortest time a brand new BGs minion was in the game before it got removed. Didn't realise he was such a menace, but then again I barely play BGs

  • Thanks for the guide. Always willing to try a deck that has Deathwing, Mad Aspect, for obvious reasons ofc 😁

  • Oh yes, my Tavern Brawl achievements say 300% and my FAV achievements say 90% but I'm pretty sure it's around 40%.

    The whole achievements section is super bugged, and Blizzard probably don't care on fixing the bugs coz the achievements are basically pointless other than Rewards Track XP
