yes, if you're worried you're winning a little too easily, just play this and simulate russian roulette, because why not.
Your opponent should likewise emote thanks as this eventually kills you not least because you lost the roulette, but proceeded to play a nasty 1/6 for 3.
You're supposed to instantly concede when your opponent plays this. 5 stars all round.
Jokes aside, this is decent in paladin for that elusive secret paladin deck. Reminds me of Dalaran Crusader, and maybe that 1 mana difference can really make it shine.
Decent stats, cleave, and its a beast. Very good stuff.
But outside of given rush, this is just an arena card. And I wouldn't put this in my deck just to make guardian animals sometimes work. But the potential is there, and in hearthstone that's already above average for a card.
Its a 3/6 for 4. Almost certainly going to survive on curve, and if spellbursted, it becomes a nasty taunt minion.
Paladin, priest and maybe warrior can make full use of it. Its a dragon too, so maybe in hunter? but dragon hunter doesn't always have the means to trigger the spellburst.
I assume that it has 'elusive' itself, or otherwise this is hot trash.
If your opponent can't clear your board the last turn, you make it even less likely they can do so this turn.
Basically turns rogue, warrior, and priest into a shishkebab of having cards that cannot be played. I can see this eventually being nerfed if it turns out that it makes priest unplayable in all shapes and form. Aside from the possible priest grief, this has potential to just change deck building in hearthstone altogether.
I can see team5 changing the description to 'your other minions' at some point. Keep all your copies folks, this one's broken as hell.
Nothing else I can think of. Its still a tempo loss at the end. And jeeves was in a meta much less threatening that the ones we're seeing nowadays where aggro can kill you within 5 turns.
Its a card that allows you to hero power for nothing, trumping its cousin [Hearthstone Card (water boy) Not Found] by miles.
But in what deck would a hero power for nothing be useful? Maybe in hunter, with Phase Stalker being so handy. Maybe in zoo, where being able to get 1 more card without losing tempo is actually not too bad.
In most cases, this is just a filler with a small niche that can be useful, maybe, sometimes.
I love the card, the theme, but I still think its too niche. Maybe face hunter or beast hunter can use this, but drawing a card for 4 mana isn't really what I call efficient.
Had this been a straight up inspire card then yes, its just strong enough to be a good niche. But its effect only works once, so it can't even be a soft taunt. Just not good enough, which makes me sad.
Lol. Its a high powered card that will only realistically be seen in shaman and mage.
Is it strong? Yes, but then again, if there's spell damage on board wouldn't you rather, you know, cast spells?
So its a small niche for tempo mage, but potentially very strong. I personally dont think it'll ever see play, since its proven with cards like Animated Avalanche that any expensive card that doesnt affect board will likely just be too slow.
I already have problems including Kargath Bladefist into my decks because of fking priest, so this one's a nice little inclusion that allows me the chance to do so while also denying priest a win condition.
Besides which, a rush minion will almost always be useful to warrior, whether its aggro or control.
Is the effect strong? Yes. Will it see inclusion? No.
Messes with your Corsair Cache is bad enough, it needs to be triggered to be good, will only work once, and there's already a huge amount of weapons that are currently filling up warrior's hands. Will this ever replace cards like Ancharrr, Livewire Lance, or even Wrenchcalibur? Not likely. And even in aggro warrior, face is the place, not minion trading.
Perhaps you'd think that you can leave it up and spellburst later? Well, if it doesn't get oozed, your opponent will play around it like crazy, and you will still need to contrive a spell to be played, so its not strictly good without any more resources spent.
As mentioned above (i havent watch the video myself) kripp thinks its good because it bypasses the Lord Jaraxxus tempo issue. That's fair. But then again, it doesn't change the fact that you'd maybe just die after playing jaraxxus anyway.
Discovering demons is always tricky, especially since the truly good demons are all dhunter cards. I personally think this is trash, but am open to be proven wrong.
On paper this looks nuts. But the real question would be 1) is it better than Earthquake and 2) is it better than Walking Fountain.
On both counts my answer would be no. Even if it fully heals you back, its not likely to kill anything, so in reality you've just bought a Frost Nova that only sometimes prevent you from dying.
Walking Fountain heals for a mere 8, but will mostly remain on board and it can usually be counted to to make at least 1 kill. And Earthquake straight up kills most minions, the reason for playing an AoE. I'd rather have an AoE that does the job, than delay death by a turn.
Mercifully, this actually works with Arcane Watcher, or otherwise its no different from playing a minion with spell damage.
Combos very well with Ras Frostwhisper without further need of other minions to add to the AoE. Also curves well into Molten Blast. Just a solid synergy card, really. Its chief deficiency would be that 1 damage on turn 2, where its not likely to do anything to affect the board.
Basically its Small-Time Buccaneer all over again. But this has the problem only really being possible inclusions into aggro shaman and tempo mage.
So perhaps that's good enough to make those decks work, and to make this card utterly hellish.
Has rush, and for 8 mana goes twice. Otherwise its a removal for 4 mana. Not too bad.
But likely its either a murloc deck or bust. Just too expensive in most classes. Might make a slight niche inclusion into libram pally.
Or if Robes of Protection proves too much, then this card is nearly just an auto include into most control decks.

Guardian Animals, certified great with this card.
Decent stats, cleave, and its a beast. Very good stuff.
But outside of given rush, this is just an arena card. And I wouldn't put this in my deck just to make guardian animals sometimes work. But the potential is there, and in hearthstone that's already above average for a card.
1/1 for 0.
A small niche in warlock with Demonfire maybe?
Otherwise, a poor inclusion. Can't even work with Magic Carpet, sadly.
Very strong and sticky. Too bad its slow as hell.
Unless cheated out, this is useless.
I assume that it has 'elusive' itself, or otherwise this is hot trash.

Slower than Vulpera Scoundrel. Yes that's it. Just play Vulpera Scoundrel
What else it there is to say? It discovers a spell, which is good. But at 5 mana, which means you're taking a major risk here.
Unless casino dhunters are here, not likely to ever see play outside of being discovered itself.
Oh poor Jeeves, got outclassed at last.
face hunter, tempo dhunter fodder.
Nothing else I can think of. Its still a tempo loss at the end. And jeeves was in a meta much less threatening that the ones we're seeing nowadays where aggro can kill you within 5 turns.

Its not really that bad. But is there any reason why you'd play this instead of shaggy?
Maybe to chance a good taunt from another class? Too risky. And this has the problem of being a 2 mana do nothing as well.
Discover a minion to go to town with. Why not?
