  • Spell damage shaman will certainly love this, but its basically then Imp-losion without Darkshire Councilman.

That it can hit face is perhaps its saving grace, or otherwise its just a weaker Lightning Bolt. Since shaman also has access to Bloodlust and Storm's Wrath, getting the 1/1 minions may not all be useless.

  • Draws you cards and if you have a 5 damage weapon then this is free.

Yes, this is good. Yes this will go into all aggro rogue/warrior decks. But will it ever go anywhere else? That's another question. Risky Skipper combo is still here and not going anywhere, and rogue still has cards like Dirty Tricks and Greyheart Sage to do the same thing.

Perhaps next year this will truly shine. Until then, I cant see Risky Skipper making way for this, so its strictly going to aggro pirate warrior and little else.

  • Its power is solely that it buffs your weapon while its out, so even if you get oozed, just weapon up and it still has the same value.

Its downside is obvious: it will never be alive past the same turn this is played, which will be 90-100% of the time. There's no scenario where your opponent would rather leave this be, not even a face aggro deck.

In many ways, this card suck because the buff is not permanent. But unlike Deadly Poison, there's no reason not to just play this even with a 1 charge dagger, since it doesn't really matter. And it comes with an okay 3/3 to boot, which needs to be destroy lest you take more value off it. Also this curves nicely to Steeldancer, making the card even more vital to remove immediately.

  • Not good enough. If the game is to generate combo cards then Whirlkick Master is the name of the card.

What makes this even remotely playable is that it has stealth. So if you're running stealth rogue, you'd might consider this card, but 90% of the time you'd be playing the galakrond package, so no.

Maybe next year, when galakrond rotates. Until then just can't see anyone putting this deliberately in the deck.

  • its not really as bad as it looks. In many ways, if you need a card to support weapons rogue, then this card will easily be it.

With high durability, at 3 mana, and cards like Deadly Poison and Vulpera Toxinblade, there's plenty of ways to make this a big weapon that will hit solidly for at least 2-3 turns. Upgrade this with Doctor Krastinov for more damage and charges, and make the doctor really scary.

But what about its competitors? Hooked Scimitar does more damage but is combo reliant and only have 2 charges making it face or bust. Waggle Pick cost more mana, and have only 2 charges plus a possible tempo downgrade. If I need a solid weapon that I can buff and control the board and hit face with, this weapon will still be the better of the three.

Obviously meta dependent. An ooze will doom this weapon, and then some.

  • This is perhaps the weirdest secret in hearthstone currently.

Its probably a discover spell rather than something you'd purposefully drop into your deck. The best classes that play more than 1 card per turn, of which rogue can find a use for, would be mage and ironically rogue itself.

Its weakness is that the cards you get doesn't get discounted so its like 2 mana resource, of which Dirty Tricks is very likely just better. Worse still, your opponent will have an option to mill your cards by playing a bunch of useless stuff, making it awkward to play both galakrond and togwaggle.

But since against both rogue and mage this card is excellent there might yet be a place for it somewhere down the line.

  • Its more rogue than warrior.

Warrior already has Execute that comes 1 mana less, and warrior don't tend to have many cards in hand to make this a solid Assassinate. I will be surprised to see warrior play this card.

Rogue has access to zero mana spells like backstab, and does not already have a cheaper removal spell. So into rogue it goes, maybe as a 1 off, replacing Sap, depending on meta.

  • its a decent card, but unfortunately there's problems everywhere with using it.

Priest spells don't generally damage minions, so you're counting on your board to weaken a big target so this card can do something. Half the time, you wont have such a board to do so, and the other half of the time you'd much rather have something like Time Rip or Shadow Word: Death. Also, this cost 6 mana. So unless the thing you're aiming at has rush or taunt, you're likely just going to die after playing this card.

  • Its not really that good. Sharing the same weakness as rez priest, and you deal 3 damage to yourself.

Its a rez priest card, but as was mentioned, it shares the same weakness as the deck, so its either win-more, or you get 2 sheeps or 2 frogs you will never play. Assuming you don't just die to aggro, that is.

  • This one card is amazing because it basically covers one massive hole in any priest deck, which is its persistent weakness to OTK combo.

For that reason, I hate that this card exist. Its bad enough to lose to rng, now you can't even cheese them off with combo. And brilliantly enough they can get it off Galakrond's Wit, so that's twice the fuckry

Of course, you get to waste their resources as well, but they're fking priest. There's little to no way to end the game immediately, and nearly every card generates something else, so its like youre just cycling their cards for them.

The real question is what will happen if you play Illucia after they have played Illucia? does the deck permanently switch now?

  • That's one nice looking book cover.

Discover dragons is almost always good. Being able to discount them makes it even better. Just a solid card for priest, and I'm a little upset that this is the one card that it doesn't share with paladin.

  • Basically 2 mana +2+2 with divine shield...except the divine shield pops at the end of the turn

Strong card? well, Extra Arms was good as a 2 mana card, but that was in combo priest. Now that priest can't draw for shit, I can't actually imagine this thing being played on curve, let alone with Frazzled Freshman

  • In paladin there's plenty of reasons why you'd not be going face after playing a buff. And this one generates a massive minion that needs to be dealt with after, presumably it takes a value trade.

I'd rate this high, but I can't seem to get it out of my mind that Blessing of Kings is just a better card because its one turn sooner.

  • Too slow, but if you're playing a big deck, especially with warrior, then this is an auto include.

Consideration have to be given to the fact that it summons it out, so there's one less minion to use with Dimensional Ripper.

  • Quote From GoliathTheDwarf

They can only be seen by people who are drunk

of course it is. I expect nothing less.

Thanks for the lore. Now tell me what do those few sober people see when you're taking this pet for a walk after a nice talk with a bottle of whiskey?

  • Its a discover card, and strictly for priest.

There's some shenanigans you can do with this card in priest, Shadow Madness, Cabal Acolyte, Cabal Shadow Priest, etc.

Not something to be included into the deck, that's for sure.

  • Of all the artwork seen, this has got to be the most dull. Can't you make her look any less like someone being offered mineral water at a pool party? I shudder to think the reason why team5 went with this art instead of picking some other pose.

Aside from that, this card is just useless. Yes there's a massive tag 'lifesteal' on it, but its a paladin card, and paladins don't lack healing options. Hell, even Amber Watcher is a better card if only because its just on time with its healing. Play this, then die to aggro, because this doesn't have taunt even.

Potentially a game winner against priest, but even then I prefer Onyx Magescribe to do the same thing, and more.

  • Its Bloodsworn Mercenary fodder. Otherwise its just competition to Rampage, perhaps a better card.

Nearly useless in paladin, but can be useful in warrior since Inner Rage is still 0 mana.

  • Just terrible to be honest.

If you're behind, then 1 random 3 mana spell wont do anything, and if you're ahead then the spell can easily fix that for your opponent. Worst still you can't kill it by trading so your opponent will gayly leave it up with a smile. Looks more like a nerf to Faceless Lackey if Im honest.

The only reason for this card to be played is a masochistic desire to lose, or you really really don't want to finish that 50g quest but can't put hearthstone aside for 1 day.

  • it draws cards, and that alone is good enough to merit inclusion. That it draws cards, and can draw you more than 2, along with spells like Primordial Studies, and Lab Partner there's little reason to believe this cant draw you more than 2 cards for 2 most of the time, which is insane.

Aside from the obvious tempo mage, there's also cyclone mage that will love this card. Even combo mage can use something like this. Even spell mage can use something like this because of the aforementioned primordial studies. Just a strong card that does what its supposed to do and better.
