So why should anyone care about YOUR random feelings? What have you added to the discussion? Nothing. You've proved you're a narcissist, though, so congrats on that.
Yeah, I'm not optimistic. All the pro players on Twitter and multiple Team 5 devs are posting really apocalyptic things, essentially mourning the death of the game.
Flux, seriously... this is not the right take. Anyone who couldn't tell those cards are fake deserves to get trolled. I don't understand why you're doubling down on this being somehow bad.
They really made this extremely difficult for anyone to find a complaint with. Good on them for anticipating every community concern and addressing it before release!
This! I made a "trash" deck that I cycle new cards into to maximize my chance of upgrading every Common to Uncommon super quickly. Gotta make those early credits last!
People like you who claim you aren't coming back NEVER have the courage of your convictions. You can't be honest, not even with yourself. It's genuinely pretty sad.
To the Doomsayers: a bunch of people predict the death of the game literally every time an employee leaves. It didn't happen when Brode left, and it won't happen now. Video game companies are not dependent on single "auteurs" - especially not for live service games that have been out for many years.
You don't need to launder your frustrations with the game through the personal employment decisions of others. Own up to your own opinions.
Where are you getting your data that they make "more than enough" off of cosmetics? I have no reason to believe that's true, and lots of reasons to believe it's false (Kibler's commentary on monetization, for example).
I am voting with my wallet - I see no problem with their new monetization scheme. I was already paying real money for 4 heroes, and I'm happy to keep doing so. No has yet articulated their issue with the changes other than "I wanted to free-ride forever!"
When did I suggest you're attacking me? You're the one who defensively quoted my quite relaxed reply as if it was filled with insults. Suggesting you want the game to be more boring is an interpretation of your position, not a personal insult - I'm critiquing your position, not you yourself.
I really honestly suggest you try having more fun and getting less furious about card wording. "Stuff it in a sack" is intended to be whimsical. And now that you understand the implications of the card, the wording shouldn't negatively impact you. Have fun, and see you in the Tavern! (where I will NOT be playing Rogue - XL Highlander decks for me!)
Their job isn't to communicate clearly - their job is to create a fun experience. This card does that for me, so it's a huge success. It doesn't for you, because I guess you dislike doing research or testing something to see how it works? Good for you, I guess? But I'd find Hearthstone a lot more boring if they had to spell out every single detail of every card. The fact that other people are pedantic about Ysera doesn't mean they're RIGHT about it... just that they want the game to be as boring as you do.
You're entitled to your opinion, but you certainly haven't convinced me that there's a single benefit to what you're asking for.
How is the wording not creative? It's unique among all other Hearthstone cards, much like Mankrik.
But it also doesn't do anything surprising or unprecedented - their detailed explanation only confirmed exactly how I thought the card would work, with the exception of returning to the minion to hand instead of the board. But that detail will be on the card text (or mouseover text) of the Sack itself. In the same way that Ysera didn't explain what each of the Dream Card options were until you played it and earned them, multi-step cards have never explained everything past the first step. Why should that magically change now?
I don't disagree, but that's never been the case before with creatively-worded cards. Some things in Hearthstone require you to figure it out ahead of time (or through trial and error), and I'm actually okay with that.
20 packs is NOT statistically significant. Not in any universe. Show me the data from 10,000 pack openings and maybe we can talk.
But there's simply no incentive for Blizzard to do this. The downsides of that information leaking are astronomically higher than the financial upside of screwing their player base.
All you proved with your post is that you don't understand how probabilities work. The odds to open something are calculated in aggregate - they in no way guarantee a particular distribution over a small sample size.

I had the same question - that seems correct based on a plain-text reading of the card.
They really crushed it on the new Signature Cards. Definitely took player feedback into account in a big way!

Lil' Rag dropping to Tavern Tier 5 is a HUGE deal for those of us still desperately clinging to Elementals.
And I'm very interested to try out Elise's new hero power.

If they're playing a combo deck, and you Dredge one of their combo pieces and make it cost a few mana extra, that's game-winning.
Wow, you nailed it!
