Nice catch OP, my inner nerd loves such details. Would be nice to see Kazakus in dragon form and as a Highlander card. (maybe something like "hatch a dragon?"). Having said all that, I think there is like 0% chance of this happening, but let the nerd dream.
I am glad we solved this :) Have you tried the deck yet OP? I am curious how is it performing. Myself so far I have only had time to open my packs and play one game, so no idea of the meta.
Renolock will gain a very strong card in the form of Zephrys the Great, i think it will be very good. Actually, renolock is always good, it's only a matter of if the meta is good enough to make him show on meta reports. And Zephrys is even too, so my EvenRenoMecha'Thun deck will surely play him :P
Reno mage will gain 2 powerfull cards, and both give the decks more versatily. I think it will be good.
Reno priest won't change that much, his core was nerfed too hard when they made Raza stupid. How I miss my old inspire value reno priest!
Reno Hunter has a very good card in Brann (in both Brann, actually), but I don't know if playing 2 King Krush will be enough to create a deck. For a control deck you have better options on a spell hunter or in any other build based on Deathstalker Rexxar. Actually, as the reno hunter can play the death knight, it will be a good control deck :/
Reno Paladin isn't good enough. Ok, you can play a reno aggro paladin because we in wild have enough cards to make a consistent highlander aggro deck. But why don't you play odd paladin and make it simpler? Paladin's hero power isn't even that bad for an aggro/midrange deck, Finley would have been stronger in other classes like warrior. I would have loved a neutral reno finley.
Reno Druid.... well, I don't know. I don't see it as a druid thing. I'm not able to judge this. Surely there will be a lot of listes, but I don't know if anything good will appear.
Thanks a lot for your detailed analysis! Per your comment, is RenoEvenMechathun a thing? Last time I played Reno was when he was still in standard so I have no idea what type of Highlanders play in Wild, but this got me seriously interested! :)
It adds up to 31. I think you didni include extra dmg wolf and rhino get from hero power. Or am I wrong here? (honest question, no intention to mock you)
Thank you guys for all your answers! I think I will start with crafting Reno and Kazakus from Wild and Zephrys from Uldum and try it out as much as I can. I have been waiting for a push like that to start playing Wild after all these years with Standard.
Hi guys, I have a question to experienced wild players - which Highlander deck do you expect to be the strongest with new cards incoming?
I have never played Wild before, but the re-introduction of the mechanic makes me really want to try them out. Problem is, I used to dust most of my collection when they rotated out. (I am just poor, don't blame me, and it was the easiest way to stay competitive in Standard. I didnt disenchent anything from last rotatiotn though, so I have almost full collection of ungoro, knights and kobolds).
So I am really looking for predictions, which Highlander deck do you think will be the best. Probably warlock or Mage and I guess Warlock. But if I could get some thoughts on the matter from some experienced Wild Players, that would be really appreciated since I want to spend my dust best possible way while crafting wild cards.
This is such a strong quest, the reward is way too good, the requirements not so high... I won't say it's gonna be nerfed cause normally quests are hard to evaluate most of them sucked last time.
Actually, Rogue, Priest, Warrior and Mage quests saw a lot of serious ladder play. Pala and Druid quests created at least nice meme decks. Warlock quest was awfully designed but also saw at least some ladder games in tier 4 decks. Only shaman and hunter sucked in such a way that they were neither fun nor good. So I don't think it is "most of them". And the proportions will probably be more or less the same, which would be fine with 4 quests spawning good meta decks, 2-3 meme tiers and 2-3 not good enough for any purpose. Cheers!
Sir Finley of the sands is my favourite! Mostly because I missed him in standard, he has great art and I like how blizz tries to encoirage us to play highlander Pala with it. I hope they will print some support for that (like aoe maybe? May I dream?) Also, I like how balanced the card is, very strong but never broken as you cannot guarantee new HP so you have to adapt to ceratain matchups and show some skills (dreaming again?). Cheers!
I can't wait to see the Rogue plague card, now that they've mentioned that they actually redesigned it to fit the class identity. It affects the whole board, but definitely not a board clear, so what should that mechanic be? Hmmmmm.
The secondary deck is to counter control warrior, as it puts more big minions on board which are hard to remove. It is basically the only matchup for which you would need Elysiana.
I´m not completely sure about the tertiary deck, but it looks like it should enable a more aggressive playstyle, go for face and remove some smaller minions with doomhammer. In case you can play all the added cards in the same round you would be able to deal 16 damage to the opposing player.
Edit: Looked at his tweets and he mentioned that the tertiary deck is used in matchups against hunter. Still he regrets not changing it to one good against mage because he didn´t know of the leaks at that time.
Thank you very much good sir, your input is deeply appreciated.
Hi guys, could someone help me understand which variation of this deck (I mean among the 3 "versions") is meant to be good against which other decks? I didnt have a chance to watch the games and it is not clear for me.
Sorry if this is not English enough, I am not a native speaker, but I hope you get my point.

Buffed timber wolf = 4 dmg,
Rhino = 2 dmg
5xtokens = 5 dmg
Wolf's buff = 6 dmg
heropower buff = 14 dmg
It adds up to 31. I think you didni include extra dmg wolf and rhino get from hero power. Or am I wrong here? (honest question, no intention to mock you)

I think this card will finally make me want to try Wild. Crafting back all those cards I disenchanted over the years will hurt though :(

edit: typo
My bet is on Rogue plague being a Vanish reprint.
