Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, but still its bizarre how they sound like they compare the quality of 3 standard packs to that of 4 GUARANTEED legendary cards.
I take everything that's free as something good, but making the quest as "Ranked Standard" is bs... It should just be "Ranked", why do people that don't play standard be forced to play the mode...
I already know that a lot of the player base don't care about Wild nor Wild players, and I'm not complaining, just pointing out that it's pretty shitty for people that don't play the mode (The same could go for the duels quest, but I'm biased about it because I enjoy the mode).
Anyways... Rexxar looks like a total badass psycho.
I'm just going to capitalize the missing T's and call it a day.
While everybody thinks about Grand Totem Eys'or and Totem Goliath, I'm more worried about when you get a full board of Mana Tide Totems and burn half your deck in a single turn lol. That's exactly intended so I'm going with that design.
Also, I feel like a lot of people think exclusively with a Standard Mode head, and as a Wild player, this card would see the exact same amount of play that Serpent Ward or Vitality Totem see, which is great, because it's a really powerful meme card that's either a highroll or a lolroll.
Thinking straight, a 7 cost pirate, in a full pirate deck, is honestly, bad. Or better said, its balanced, but in reality the only cool aspect of this would be to be able to gain some value in the late game, which in fact, if you're playing a pirate deck and made it to turn 7, you most likely won't win.
Other thing to keep in mind (disclaimer: not really), I'm a purely Wild player, and there this card wouldn't really see the light of day, at least not while the average game ends by turn 7, and I made it with the wild mindset.
@Fedrion: I didn't like the first Watch movie very much, is that an indicator for the books?
...
No, the movies (Both of them.. and the second worse...) differ a lot, and I really mean a LOT of the books, the books are better connected and have more coherence. The movie tries to summarize 3 different stories and mixes the plot on which it should be based a lot... a shame, because I personally really liked both of them.
To be more direct, no, they are nothing like the movies. The books are better 100%.
Second and third books are like a totally different series, which although makes you scratch your head, are really good books! I ended preferring the books than the second and third games.
Anybody read the "World of Watches" series, by Sergei Lukyanenko?
I just finished the last book, and got to say... Wow.
Really well explained story, incredible ambiance, really cool characters, and as almost everything in Russian novels, a lot of philosophical and political background.
If anyone wants to read a mix of sci-fi/fantasy they are really good.
That's not the point... if someone wants to pay, pay, no problem, the devs have all the rights to ask for whatever amount they want, and people can choose either if they want to spend or not.
But when you have a currency that let's you play 3 game modes, and now you add another mode that asks for (maybe) a loooooot more...
That's not good for any player.
IE.: A new player won't be able to do anything with the amount of gold you gain without having to expend real money at least 2-3 times a year.
Monetization... Are you kidding? They expect F2P players to enter a new game mode, that asks you to upgrade your "hub" with the only in-game currency that helps you in having a collection for the main game mode... So... isn't that a cash grab?
I mean, they announced it and put up 3 bundles, that are expensive as hell at the same time...
Everything seems fishy as hell... and don't get me wrong, I want it to thrive, because I'm a huge fan of Roguelikes/lites, of card games, and of progression focused games... and this? This doesn't really look good.
So... on top of being another cash grab... they expect us to use gold to upgrade anything... My god... I'm just hoping that the road to launch date is paved with changes, because as I see it right now... this IS going to blow hard...
Really a great move from Blizzard.

This card will be in battlegrounds. I can really see it working as a Tier 4 card.

Thanks all for the feedback.
The final version would be this one.
Ok, so for everyone that doesn't know.
Lament of the Highborne is a song that Sylvanas and her "choir" of banshees sing after the completion of a little sidequest.
I found interesting to put in hunter as a sort of secret package support and ultimately ended up with the best secret synergy IMHO.
I feel that if I up the cost more it would be almost unplayable.
Thanks all for the feedback.

Could be insane, could be sh*t.
The stats are based on the 4 basic totems amalgamated.
The gacha starts...
As the meme says...
Thanks! I hate it.
I'm baffled that the only one I can't find it's the "Play ball" one.
Anyone kind enough to give a hint?
Am I the only one where quest can be finished only if I LOSE the game?
Checked to see if I could complete the "Finish 3 UiS Questlines" quest, and yeah, played 3 games, lost 2, won 1, got a 2/3 on the quest lol.
Again, just the best kind of treat the community could receive.
Keep it going OoC staff!
So...
Blizzard keeps teasing that Valeera as a merc exists, but... they don't say anything on how to obtain her, right?
Thanks to all for the feedback.
I upped the cost and attack by one.

Let's see how this fella is received.
The main idea, is just a control/value card, a less aggro way for pirates to be played.
But can really grind someone if a Ship's Cannon or Skybarge is up.
