There's a decent enough chance. Next year's 3 expansions have already been decided. I'm not sure if they have decided the first set of 2022 yet so a new class 2 years off Demon Hunter seems doable. Let's hope!
The third part of the year begins in December. They still have almost 2 months before the next set releases.
Expect it either the last week of October or early November. Remember, BlizzCon was supposed to be early November. They were likely planning on pulling a Battlegrounds where they announced the mode at BlizzCon and it released the following week.
I'm expecting to see more single-player content, but definitely nothing that would be an adventure. Hopefully, they can bring back a dungeon run or some new form of content
It still blows my mind how we can go over a week without deploying the site yet it always feels like we just deployed yesterday. Anyway, here's today's changelog.
Changes
Runeterra
Added card subsets.
We now flag cards based on two sets. Their primary set (Such as Call of the Mountain) and their expansion (Such as Monuments of Power)
If you search for Monuments of Power cards on the database, you'll only see those cards.
If you search for Call of the Mountain cards, you'll get COTM and MOP cards combined because they are from the same overall set.
We're also including MOP cards within the main COTM set guide.
Bug Fixes
Fixed the "Has Guide" filter on decks for Runeterra and Hearthstone.
Previously, if this was unchecked and you used any other filters on the page, it would not include decks that had a guide, only showing guide=none decks.
The functionality is now the indeed of:
Has Guide Checked = Only shows decks with written guides.
Has Guide Unchecked = Shows decks with and without guides.
The Riot API
We have starter access to Riot's Match API. We've begun collecting some data as a test and are working on formatting it. Here's the phase 1 plan.
We'll let you tell us what your Riot account name is (Such as Fluxflashor#NA1)
We'll sync your matches and match data from Riot's API.
We'll display your matches and give you some basic, personalized stats on a dedicated page.
We'll give you the option to make your match stats page public. Private is the default.
All data we will display on the site will be anonymous unless you opt-in to showcase your matches on your public profile.
Phase 2 is more stat details.
On deck guides, we'll tell you what the winrate of a deck is using data we've compiled.
We'll let a deck author decide if they want us to publish their personal stats on a specific deck they submit to the site. This would appear above the guide that they may or may not write.
I don't have an ETA on it all. We need to get further approval from Riot to increase our API limits. As of now, we can only collect data for 100 matches every hour, which is the match history for 5 different accounts. It isn't great, but we understand they need to do this.
Not a whole lot going on for PC Gaming or even Playstation/Xbox (At least right now). Even hardware isn't looking too thrilling yet. Some decent prices on SSDs, but nothing extreme. It might be worth waiting until Black Friday in November unless you need something now.
There are only so many things we can post about when you might be interested in a whole other section of things. Some great deals on Lego (Sponsored Link) which can make for some great holiday gifts (or for yourself!)
Heya! First, thanks so much for supporting the site!
All our PayPal transactions get manually verified before Premium gets applied to your account. It is definitely not ideal, and I could have sworn we had a note of this on the premium page (it must have gotten removed when we did a huge update to it, going to need to get that back), but I can now say you now have access <3
Glenn Rane is easily one of my favourite artists. Though that isn't why he was spotlit today for record's sake.
Some of his earlier work with World of Warcraft was The Burning Crusade box art and the Lich King Key Art which are both amazing pieces. Then of course, one of the most iconic pieces of all time, The Lich King which was done for WoWTCG and made it into Hearthstone.
I love that Runeterra is getting MTG's Enchantments. A bit different of course but the idea is there.
I'm curious if they're only going to be going after existing archetypes or try to use Landmarks to introduce some new ones. New deck playstyles are always rad. It's also nice that they are going to update some Call of the Mountain cards to work with (or against) Landmarks.
If you missed it, Riot did a whole showcase on "what's next" for the game.
100% going to be the Book of Heroes gang for the near future. If that extends to the battle pass too, it's going to make for some serious disappointment.
They aren't going to announce details on that until the start of a new Hearthstone year.
I'm going to lock this thread. No need to bump it with a response like that.
You have the next 4 days since this ends on October 20.

People will always complain about Murlocs. Poor adorable little buggers.
The first round of updates done.

Definitely go and take a look at all the deals yourself though. (Sponsored Link - As an Amazon Associate, Out of Cards earns from qualifying purchases.)

The article is a bit bare right now, we're working on it!
Not a clue but I can tell you it wasn't in Riot's press release so I highly doubt its accuracy.
They've said we've have two smaller 40 card expansions after Call of the Mountain came out. K/DA definitely not a small expansion.

I have a strange feeling we're going to see a lot of people holding onto at least something to target landmark removals :D

Also a huge fan of Wei Wang (I have a huge 56 CM x 120 CM of this piece)
It's a low time investment for a hero that can be used every time you play so it's definitely worth it!
Leveling in WoW is quite easy too, so there's that going for it :D
MTG has both! A regular enchantment is played and it stays on the battlefield. An enchantment that has the "Aura" subtype is attached to a permanent.
Ajani's Welcome, as seen below, is an example of a regular enchantment, or what Landmarks are.
Knight's Pledge, on the other hand, is an Aura and it attaches to a creature permanent.
I love that Runeterra is getting MTG's Enchantments. A bit different of course but the idea is there.
