Seriously though, Gold is going to be our site currency that you'll earn in various ways that can be used towards site cosmetics that we'll release outside of special events. I can't tell you exactly when earning gold will go live, but everyone who creates an account will receive 10 Gold and anyone with an account prior to Halloween received a 50 Gold bonus. Premium members will be getting a chunk of bonus gold for each month they have subscribed for, and then thereafter, once more stuff goes live in the shop.
The leaderboard's results are cached, so if it doesn't update in real-time, that's why =)

How do you make a plane based around horror even more terrifying? Ask this card to give everything tentacles. You're looking for a card from a horror-themed set. Mechanically, no tentacles, but that is certainly some interesting art.
A card that will make you scream, or will hand out candy, one or the other. There are several types of counters in MTG. One could consider this card an all-day event.
This issue was resolved, and then broken again. Apologies!
I've got an update going out in a bit (I'll update here when it is live). The collection manager shares the same tech our deckbuilder has and I made two breaking changes to it. After the first one was made, I didn't update the collection manager due to forgetting about some shared code (that's why this thread was created) and then shortly after that was fixed, another breaking change was made.
Although the two share features, they only do so on the backend but not the frontend. Getting them more in-sync with each other on the frontend would be so great, though, the odds of us making a breaking change again in the future is so slim. We just completely revamped some internal APIs to help with the support of Duels.
The reason why this "[wasn't working]" was because we did not have filters setup yet for MTG. We've actually pushed out an update with filters for the title, and some backend stuff to make the whole thing faster so I'm going to consider this resolved.
It was prior understanding these boxes were fixed width and name text was supposed to make itself smaller if it would go out of bounds. Regardless, I should have used better CSS to begin with.
It is supposed to be ending when the clock dings Nov 3 Eastern timezone. Someone does have to be around to click to make that happen though so there's a chance we might go over a few minutes or so.
The shop rewards will be available for 1 week after the event, to give everyone enough time to buy anything they would like and still have candy for.
When Whispers of the Old Gods hit, they did a bunch of thematic cards that were upgraded, evil versions of themselves. Dressing up is getting a new set of art for the same character.
I think the clue works well only because there are not very many monkeys in Hearthstone, which really narrows the field down.
Some of these clues can be tough. I was present when a few very casual Hearthstone players were trying to solve some of them and it was tough.
I think in the future we'll need to go for some more obvious clues in addition to the more mind-teasers just to make sure everyone can pick up a nice chunk of candy.
Congrats on second place on the leaderboard btw =D
Our database queries for the page were garbage. There was a 3-way tie for 4,5,6 places in the compendium's magma rager award which meant based on how our queries sorted, they weren't always reliable.
I'm updating the achievement to the correct values now.
There might be some other compendium changes because of the change. Since its all in fun though, this being a bug for a few releases can slide :D

Update is now live that fixes this. I don't anticipate any further issues with the collection manager =D
Sorry about that!

In this case, the better way of doing it is:
left: 50%;
transform: translate(-50%);

Thanks for the report!

The Lich King Didn't give up! A Preventable Spooky Setback With Silence
This is definitely one of the trickier ones.
There's an effect in an older set that would be beneficial to use Silence on.

There are plenty more holidays though! I'd consider this year's Halloween event a baseline of what is to come for future events =D
I certainly don't think you are!
