Sea Serpent has Beast synergy that Nerubian lacks, but in this deck it plays no role so Nerubian Egg should be the better choice here unless I'm missing something.
Considering that they buff cards when they want to refresh the meta, and that we already have a (possible) meta-refresher coming in January in the form of the single player content (which, much like the old adventures, will award you with a total of 35 or so new cards), I wouldn't expect buffs before late February/March, if at all.
No official information has been given on the number of sidequests to my knowledge. My next guess would've been Epic and Rare for all good classes but Mage has one and it's Common...Hunter already has three Commons, none of them being a sidequest. I'm still going to guess two for all, but the rarities seem more or less random.
We kinda missed it in the middle of all other stuff. We'll should have a result post up after this weekend's games and proper posts before the games in the future. As of now, you can follow the brackets here. I have to say Blizzard hasn't communicated the tournament very well either, for example I couldn't find a match list for today at a quick glance.

Haven't seen any.

Yes, this one.
Congrats to the winners and my respect to the dedicated ones that went through all the cards.
I'm pretty sure I used Wild-only filter when searching decks but yeah it's clearly Standard, both versions even...y'all saw nothing!
Regardless, it's still wacky enough for me to qualify for this post.
A leak so legit I forgot to add the mana cost.
I do love me some tech cards.
Awesome, these could be very useful. Thanks!
"From the game" sounds like from the entire Hearthstone to me :D That's a card which would see play.
12 cards!? The technology is there!
Didn't even remember that :D

Good suggestion, it has been added now.
Yes, only the "good" classes get sidequests so we're only missing Paladin now.
And as Demonxz95 said, Claw is Claw. Can't blame you if you forgot that exists.
The caster was introduced as Trikslyr, not a familiar name to me either.
Less than 24 hours :o
Time to hit the panic button.
I don't think I ever got Millificent offered in my ~20 runs.
Well played Shadows with that Toxic Reinforcements caption.
As you can probably see from the comments below, the deck was still working yesterday. I now swapped it with a new version from the same author.

I totally run Zephrys in my regular Control Warrior just because I can.
