  • Honestly, I can't see Hearthstone dying. It makes the most money out of every digital card game (as far as I could find on google), has been going steady for 8 years. Why would it start to die if the year before was fine and the year before that fine?

I think people don't see that it is competing monetarily with games like CoD and assume it is dead without understanding it is a card game and the average gamer does not want to wait and sit for their turn. HS has the card game demographic down and no other digital TCG competes with it. If HS dies, then I imagine so would every other digital card game.

  • Honestly, I have the exact opposite problem with the minisets... too many of the cards are cutesy.

  • Why even comment?

How do these cards work in a game with no Pot of Greed? Do they work with the other pot cards? I cannot seem to find an answer anywhere else.

  • I hope they focus focus on improving the UI, and adding basic deck building functions such as importing and exporting decks. It is a little bit silly that a card game has been released without this feature in a world where every other digital TCG has had it.

  • Do you have HSreplay installed? Sharing a game you lost might help.

  • Why are all the good skins going to battle grounds damnit

  • I feel like it is absurdly late to make a pokemon go pack lmao

  • My favorite expansion will always be Whispers of The Old Gods, simply because it was the current expansion when I joined.

Also, does anyone else only think the reason Knights of The Frozen Throne was the most successful because of the insane amount of advertisement it had??? There was constantly new media leading up to it (Team 5 got the Lich King to go to an ice cream shop??) and I was constantly bombarded with ads.

  • Sorry, I know this isn't the place to ask, but where do you guys find team comps? Wanna get back into Mercs PVP again.

Edit: Thank you, you two! Did not even notice there was that feature on this site.

  • Shadow priest has been a weak part of the meta since Dark Bishop Ben was added, and that is totally how the deck looks. I honestly think picking Shadow Priest is counter productive is your goal is to hit legend (though, maybe you pick it because it is fun).

Freeze Shaman definitely should have made the cut, the most recent balance changes have been super favorable to it. Though, the nerf to Ignite Mage should hurt Freeze Shaman's WR as it was an incredibly favorable match up, and I do not think it helps that the deck does not have the most clear win condition for the average player to use.

  • I love how every time you post it is complaining about other players.

  • I have never been stomped so hard in any card game before, I felt truly humbled. The highest I could get to was Plat V.

  • There was actually a thread about this a week or two ago with good advice.

  • Pendulum Magicians is my favorite deck in Duel Masters. Defo gonna see if I can build a copy of it IRL now.

  • There was an article posted here about it, and I believe someone in the comment section posted a way to get it. I will try to find it.

Edit: Turns out, an possible exploit was mentioned but nothing ever came from it. Maybe you can dig around some other sites to see if it is possible?

  • It was a different time. When Ben was in charge, nerfs were very rarely made, and Hunter had a really really good classic set so it could manage through a bad expac. You can see once it lost it, it dropped immediately. I do not think it is indicative of anything negative about the current Team 5.

Edit: Also worth noting, the strongest deck isn't always the most popular one. This playerbase tends to favor simpler more straight forward decks.

  • I cannot believe Un'goro had the most class variety. I was still pretty noobish at the time, but I mostly remember Pirate Warrior, Quest Rogue, and lots and lots of Vicious Fledglings.

  • I like it. Going to stick with it for a long time. I ended up downloading it like two days ago, and had a viable deck to play withing the first hour or two of me playing the game. I imagine the rewards are very front loaded, but so far it feels much more generous then HS. Though, the more digital TCGs I play, the more I appreciate HS's UI. Master Duel's UI feels very poor compared to HS (shop screen, deck builder, selecting cards, etc).
