When I got this minion, I immediately went to Warlock. Being able to toss in every delay card on top of my kill conditions was hilarious. I won out 3/1 games against aggro because of the increased health as well. By the time control-lock was established, my aggro opponent was gassed and gave up.
I think that this will continue to see a lot of play with mid-range and control decks. I'm still on the fence as to whether or not Highlander decks will try this due to the fact that you only run 1 copy of a card and often times you need a way to get to it. Although the idea of being able to Reno back to 40 life in classes other than Priest is pretty awesome.
The one deck I've yet to try with this minion is High Priest Thekal Paladin. Getting 40 armor, playing Giants really early, and then being able to restore your health as you draw into your deck makes that kinda hilarious
I discovered that! I put him in a Warlock deck to try out and... it took 5 million years to pull off, but with the extra 10 life and additional control cards I put in, I was able to pull of some funny combos. Supreme Archaeology with Cruel Dinomancer and Soul Fragment package delivered. It just took FOREVER.
MY question on this is if you get multiple copies of the card, or draw multiple cards with the Infuse? It reads like you'll get multiple copies of it, but I'd like to know for sure.
a lesser Cruel Taskmaster that stays on the board? Sounds like it could be fun. If it can target opponent's minions as well, this is a good early game sniper
I'm curious as to what would happen if you just played a standard 30 card deck with this to get the health boost? I'd imagine that you'd have to fill the next 10 cards or it will say it's an invalid deck.
I do think that miracle decks could/would use this to get more health at the beginning to help them not die to aggro so quickly. But who knows.
I really like this actually. Questline Hunter may not be Tier S anymore, but support for it would be appreciated. This does that. The issue with Questline Hunter is that you may run out of gas and are forced to integrate other mechanics to make it thrive. The Naga draw packages, and now damage package, will find a great home on it. It's basically Kill Command with legs
How doesn't this work with Vanndar Stormpike? I'm seeing this a Dredge ANY card, minion or spell. So if you have spells that are higher cost or you drop this before Vanndar it's solid, right?
I would tend to disagree with that. The improvements on Deadly Arsenal though are pretty solid. The cost is lower, albeit by one. The Dredge allows you to choose which card you want, to maximize the damage output. And the Dredge sets you up to draw as well. So while it may not be the best card DH or other classes may have seen it is still improved.
Honestly, as long as I can finally mass disenchant all my stuff without worrying how much I'll be losing on another nerf is all I want. I can see the power play for the cards that are being discussed, but I just can't stand hardy with any of them.
The buffs on the other hand, as a die hard lock player, I am hoping to get some gnarly stuff out of this. I know it won't be anything crazy enough to bump it to a tier 1-s level for standard, but at least it could be playable
Its a known bug that should have been addressed in the recent patch (you can read it in the patch notes). Its actually infamous, along with the nellie bug. The moment you dont see the discover option come out you need to immediately restart hearthstone, otherwise you'd be seeing lots of mouse-overs but your turn never really ends (which signals that something went wrong). On mobile this is especially deadly.
Guess this one slipped past the patch. Either that, or you encountered this before the patch went live.
I had it happen a couple of days ago and again after the patch. Still no response from Bliz on my report thoug
I reported a Bug that I encountered the other day and wondered if anyone else had experienced this. I was playing a Curse Warlock deck and dropped Brann Bronzebeard followed up by Queen Azshara. I was able to get the first battlecry, but then the game just stopped responding. I was on my mobile(Android) when it happened. I Saw the rope and then by the time I got to actually play again, my opponent had gone 2 turns and nothing on my side.
Has anyone else experienced this? I have not seen it happen with any other classes yet, but I still reported it because I was able to repeat it.
Nerf target. It's health is too high for that effect in a meta (standard and wild) that we have right now. At the least, you're getting a weenie minion wipe for one turn, playing another pirate to fuel Questline Warrior, or even DH or Shaman being able to hit things multiple times in a turn and hitting the board a few times... It's just too good

double barrel shaman! I love it. Combining the much hated Devolve and the loathed Evolve into one... totally hilarious

If you are able to somehow make it invulnerable for a turn... or even get Divine Shield on it, then it's brutal
2 for a 4/5 that you need sacrificial offerings... fun mechanic for DH

Really strange way to play Thief classes I must say
Priest's love of getting Legendaries will never end. Which is a boon and a hindrance.

Malygos Druid just gave me herpes

Gods I love these things~ Please never stop making these.
