It really is. I sincerely think that the R&D at Blizzard dropped the ball on this one.
...That... or they intentionally made it ridiculous in an effort to curve new players into the game with something that doesn't necessarily need a lot of cards or knowledge about play style to win.
Is Eydis Darkbane necessary to the deck? Or is she more of the additional pressure for your opponent? It seems that unless you have a substantial amount of mana/spells to work on it, she'd be a hell of a target when she hits the board.
I like it when they do this. I think it helps people that are returning to the game and new players to help build up cards that will be used in standard for the next year.
This deck has been helping me climb ladder with all the decks that are designed to draw. Warlock is almost an autowin, but Demon Hunter just dies, especially if you can get armor built up. All the Outcast cards in DH just help them draw into your bombs.
I think that there will still be a lot of play with Open the Waygate. In Wild, there are just so many options to get cards into your hand, an increase of only 2 spell requirement will have little to no impact.
The other balance adjustments are as expected. Although, Kael'thas Sunstrider goes off one turn later, will still be a pain to deal with..
Bloodbloom feels almost unplayable now because of this though, it has effectively destroyed the majority of combos used with it.
I have been playing this deck all day and beating the hell out of every Warlock deck (which is the majority of my opponents). Seriously, great build and great counter for the current meta.
The only thing that put a stop in my progress was hunter, which I'm willing to chalk up to bad draws on my end.
I want to try that Warlock on, but I don't have Prince Taldaram. I've been debating crafting him for a while, but I'm the idiot that feels like if I craft a card that I'm going to be using for my favorite class/deck, it HAS to be golden. And 3200 can be a stretch
And I would be ok with that. I cannot imagine anyone that is playing druid WOULDN'T want that. Can you imagine having 10 excess mana and Kael'Thas on the board?
I don't think that they would increase the cost of the reward card solely based on the fact that all other quest rewards from Un'Goro remain at 5. Blizzard, as much as they like to claim that they mix things ups, still holds a number of things still. Keeping the quest rewards aligned at 5 I think would be one of them.

... I'll put my tin foil hat back on now.
Totally will give him a shot now. That's a pretty solid idea I have to say
Zoolock here I come...

This seems solid enough, but a lot more set up than before. But, that is the way of the nerf

This is what happens when no one has the ability to lead effectively and no personality...

Unpopular Opinion:
I am remiss that Baku and Genn were HoF'd before we got to use them in the Year of the Dragon sets

I was actually curious if that would happen. Makes me even more happy that I could run my golden one in my DH build
At least there is "confirmed" alt art for Demon Hunter at 1k wins. Still 100x better than Rexar
I'm looking forward to playing the Egg Warrior deck. That looks fun.
At least with the quarantine, the R&D at Blizzard is looking to make things interesting for us.

I've never played with him in battlegrounds, so i don't know how impactful his ability was. Was it a problem?
Indeed... it saw play in that ONE deck. I've see this card in several decks... now it will be isolated, at best, to one deck.
