  • And to think that many people thought that Nasus was the weakest of the three ascendant champions.

  • This could definitely become a Shurima staple.

  • How is this overtuned? Don't get me wrong the card is good but in the end of the day it's a chump block that only gives spellshield to either champions or landmarks. If it was also a fearsome blocker or could give spell shield to any unit I would agree with you.

  • I like his design a lot he look like he could fit in many decks.

  • Why would it be broken? No meta deck right now is running landmark removal and yet mono Shurima isn't doing anything, not having a way to protect your Buried Sun Disc was never the issue with that deck.

  • It's good to have more cards that advance your Buried Sun Disc but for 5 mana this could have been better a lot better.

  • This is definitely a great addition to landmark based decks Hibernating Rockbear, Preservarium are all gonna love this one.

  • Looks too weak for an 8 drop.

  • So, Zilean reveal tomorrow?

  • Of course not, Noxus already got a new champion this expansion, but well be getting more Noxian cards.

  • He get's 5 star for cuteness.

  • So we have Zilean for Shurima, Irelia for Ionia and Malphite for Targon.

  • It's funny that Ionia the region who is all about maintaining balance lore wise, has been either overpowered or weak in the game.

  • That is true sadly.

  • Aggro can't beat Lissandra/trundle unless the Lissandra player got really unlucky with his draws, as for it being the best finisher in the game I disagree, Lee Sin and Nasus are just as good if not better. Finally it make sense that the watcher effect is stronger than Maokai since it's more difficult to execute.

  • Saying that game is better because it's easier to understand for those who don't play it is hardly an argument, but more importantly that definitely not true. Hearthstone keywords may be more simplistic but the game still have ton of wacky RNG effect that makes confusing watch, I still remember seeing Yogg-Saron being played and going : " WTF is happening ? "

And yeah LOR keywords do explain themselves :

Personally I would prefer they go back to realizing everything in one big expansion with champion expansion in between but that just my opinion.

Yeah, this was my point. Sorry if I wasn't being clear enough. I think that in the future when we would have 10 regions this will be possible or at least I'm hoping it will be. After all, they no longer need to introduce new regions with like 8 champions for it so there'd be fewer things to divide.

I misunderstood your words, my apologies. But yeah it would be nice if we didn't have wait for two set just for an archetype to be decent (Hello mono Shurima).

They have always designed sets in advance to splice into 3, so unless they decide to design 3 separate expansions exclusively, I think the issues will stay similar to the previous expansions.

No they didn't, both Targon and Shurima were designed to be released in the form of one big expansion, but they decided to split them into three sets because players found the three month gap between expansions to be too long. They did say that future expansions will be designed with the 3-set approach from its start.

Personally I would prefer they go back to releasing everything in one big expansion with champion expansion in between but that just my opinion.

  • Bland as she is, Sivir is better champion than Taliyah at moment.

  • I don't think that it's fair to criticize magic for it's monetization and give HS a pass because it's in a better spot now. Like years of blizzard milking it's fanbase didn't happen.
