After playing with and against Lissandra/Trundle in both ladder and gauntlet. I came to change my opinion on the deck. Long story short I still think it's top tier but I wouldn't say that it's overpowered, cheap or anything like that. Allow me to elaborate:
-The deck has a favorable match up against aggro but also has bad match up in the form of Deep, Renekton/Sejuani and Lee Sin/Zoe.
-Realistically speaking you can only pull The Matron into watcher combo late game (Turn 9 and beyond), while it is possible to pull the combo as soon as turn 8 that require you to have a Glimpse Beyond in hand to clear some space since in your field your already have a Lissandra, Frozen Thrall, Trundle and two ice pillars, this is unlikely to happen since in order to pull the combo you need all the above + Fading Memories and Spectral Matron. and don't give the whole with ramp you can get as soon as turn 7, the best versions of the deck don't use ramp cards and does that do are not even tier 3 decks.
- That being said i do think that Lissandra does need a nerf, she already generate a frozen thrall and in her level 2, make your nexus tough and give an alternate win condition. Why does she also give a AOE spell each turn for free?
I think that they want the mode to have a rogue like feel and for that requires a certain amount of RNG, also many player choose to stick with the first buff that they got as a form of self imposed challenge.
With Sharpsight getting it's own VFX, does that mean that they will introduce a new keyword for "I can block units with elusive" or am I just reading too much into this?
Fiora/Shen was my go to ladder deck. I feel that that the nerf pretty much killed her, not that I am mad about it, she was top tier for a long time, that is not something you could say about most champions.
It still a good deck but it's no longer an unfair one. As for more valuable champ I would say Zoe, she is present in two meta decks right now, Zoe/Lee Sin and Zoe/Aurelion Sol.
This could be fun to watch, and if were lucky this could make them realize that Taliyah is an underpowered champion and could use some buffs or at least buff some some cards around her.
Deep was tier one during Rising Tides but ever since Call of the Mountain it has been downgraded into a casual deck. Stat wise Deep has a very favorable match up against Lissandra/Trundle, but it used to have bad match ups against TF/Fizz, Fiora/Shen and Aphelios/Zoe. Now that all those 3 have been nerfed I expect Deep to go back to being meta again.
So they killed the Ledros into Dreadway combo. The nerfs to TF and Fiora are good but the one who took the biggest L is definitly Aphelios and it looks like deep might viable again.
Soraka has a silence ability in league should we give her the ability to generate a 0 mana hush or equinox every turn in runeterra?
This is great news.

Didn't know that our beloved meme card had such an elaborate backstory, in universe and out.
I was mostly indifferent to the KDA cards, K-Pop is just not my cup of tea but I did not hate it.
Being a metal fan I do like Pentakill but I would still prefer a lore themed event.
One year already, feel's like the beta was just a couple weeks ago.
I love the Irelia theme in the background.

I love Diablo 2 but i stopped looking forward to anythings Activision-Blizzard related a long time ago.
These straight to the point breakdowns are very much appreciated. Great work.

The buried landmarks is a cool concept but the raise key word is bit redundant since it's work the same way invoke does.
Your right on Taliyah, she rarely won me any game, I only managed to win on hard because I had a 2 mana 7/4 Leblanc with scout.

Kindred/Nasus have been my favorite deck from the expansion I am glad to see it doing relatively well.

I have been thinking the same thing, LOR having it's own exclusive champions could be a cool thing.
