I actually agree on the release schedule. More releases shakes things up more often.
No it doesn't, when rising tides was released the meta changed drastically, but after call of the mountain we had only one new viable competitive deck "Trundle/A.sol", same thing for momentum of power "Tahm kench/Soraka", the only time were things got shaken was due to balance change like the buff to Bastion and Lee Sin and the nerfing of several Bilgwater cards.
Like this article, very insightful, and I happen to agree with most of his reasoning except for current card release schedule, I would prefer if they go back to releasing everything in one expansion or two at max.
As long as they keep the RNG on meme cards I’m fine. I feel like Howling Abyss is honestly far less of a problem than Celestials or Bilgewater.
*Randomly gets Level 2 Sejuani* - who's a meme now?
Sejuani? that's what are you worried about? I'll take a level 2 Sejuani over a level 2 Maokai any day.
Level 2 Maokai is already leveled. He doesn't mill you. He's a 2/5 token generator with regen, and that's it. Similarly, Nautilus is already a 13/13 tough fearsome without being deep.
Hmm yeah that is pretty good. But for that amount of mana you can play They Who Endure + Atrocity much more reliably (sure it's only in one deck, but still). I feel like there are more reliable and faster win conditions. It isn't necessarily unplayable, but it definitely isn't OP. Also, it can be countered by a single vengeance on the Sejuani.
Not every deck has access to vengeance or non combat removal for that matter.
Lovely. No offence meant to the artist of the old version, I'm sure they are great, but I do think they missed the mark just slightly with the first version.
I'm glad they did this, but at the same time I feel really bad for whoever the original artist was.
"Everyone hated your work so much we're making the unprecedented move of patching in new artwork."
"But why?"
"Because your take on a 2-foot tall purple-skinned fairy didn't look human."
Why do you guys assume that the new art was done by a different artist? they could've just asked the original artist or art team to tweak their design a little.

The card say survive damage not take damage.
Trundle is very smart... by trolls standard.
Since were talking about the lore, the flavor text and full artworks of some of Shadow Isles cards ( Scuttlegeist, Mistwraith, Shark Chariot, Rhasa the Sunderer, Phantom Prankster, Soulgorger ) as well as Demacian ones ( Vanguard Squire, Vanguard Defender, Vanguard Lookout ) are depicting Demacia's attempts at exploring the lands.
Spoilers, it didn't go well.
I was hoping for a Halloween style event like the harrowing event from leagues of legends, this one is a solid skip for me.
They should have giving this spell to another region.
That's a relief
The first landmark card that got me hyped, we need more alternate win conditions.
New cards revealed, the next Targon champion is definitely going to be Soraka.
Not every deck has access to vengeance or non combat removal for that matter.

Looks like each region will be getting it's landmark, not sure that I am digging the RNG aspect tough.
Indeed, the Noxian champion is probably going to be riven.
New Bilgwater ( and one Shadow Isles ) cards revealed looks like we are getting Tahm Kench tomorrow.
What do you guys think about the Landmarks?
This was unexpected.
Riot just teased the second part of the set : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSz0IwiqD1E&feature=emb_title
So we are getting 3 new champions with this one who do you think they're gonna be ?
I know that, it still counter Flash freeze, Brittle steel, and harsh winds.
