  • I like Guess the Weight, especially because it's currently your only card from the newest set. Maybe Wardruid Loti or Teacher's Pet? Both are nice, versatile cards but they don't have direct synergy with anything (no Fandral Staghelm or Guardian Animals, for example).

  • Just stopping by to say hello! I've seen Swizard playing this deck, and I have to say, it's one beast of a greedy-ass deck. Great if you like long adventure-type games where you just fight for the board and try to outvalue your opponent.

Might I recommend Greybough? Works well with Hadronox and Flobbidinous Floop, and you pretty much always have minions on board to get the deathrattle. Plus, I bet Zephrys the Great is smart enough to offer you Faceless Manipulator to help out there.

  • I bought a snowball, and now I can't buy another. I was thinking I could stock up on these for some major aggro. What is Snowpocalypse? The suspense is KILLING me!

  • Ok, we can buy snowballs in the shop for a "Snowpocalypse". I really want to know what this is and how it works. I want to go full-on Face Hunter and smorc all yer faces with snowballs!

  • TWO Jade Druids, and nothing with Greybough? Friends, I feel it is my solemn duty to share the following:

Summon trees! Earn XP! Impress your friends*!

*assuming your friends are impressed by having fun, and not winning games.

  • Guys, I currently have 215 snowflakes, and guess what? Each one is unique! I checked them all!

  • I have found Book of Heroes to be significantly less fun than other adventures (while still enjoyable enough), and one of the big reasons is the lack of originality. Not only did they reuse the fight as discussed above, but there have been a whole bunch of "new" cards like an Overconfident Orc that just has a different name and art, and Jaina gets a [Hearthstone Card (Grey Cat) Not Found] that is basically just a Black Cat without the Odd requirement. Unique and overpowered special cards are what make adventures extra fun, but these are just lame.

  • Thank you so much for that N64 video ... priceless.

  • Some great dialogue here, and it's good to know other folks are seeing the same thing as me.

Several people (including Flux) mentioned the importance of having downvotes, and I agree. I want to be able to downvote offensive or trollish comments.

I like the distinction between posts and decks: maybe you shouldn't be able to downvote a deck without leaving a comment. However, I don't think you should always have to comment in order to vote (up or down) if it's a forum post. I'm glad the mods have the ability to track that stuff to see if some loser is just going around downvoting everything.

What it comes down to, as some people noted, is the votes don't matter much. It's stupid to get offended if people downvote your comments, and some upvotes here and there are just a tiny bit of positive reinforcement (I upvoted everyone who has participated in this dialogue). When it comes to decks though, it's different. When I post a deck that I want people to look at and comment on, the downvotes hurt my chances of being noticed (correct me if I got that wrong).

  • First off, let's be clear: I'm not here to cry and complain "boo hoo some anonymous person on the internet doesn't like me" etc. But I've been noticing a lot of downvotes recently that don't make sense.

Example #1: I posted a deck a few weeks ago, and upvoted myself. Someone else came along and downvoted it. No comment or anything. What's the point? If you don't like the deck, offer some constructive criticism. Why was it worth someone's time to just randomly downvote a deck?

Example #2: During the card reveal season leading up to Darkmoon Faire, I went around voting on and commenting on every card, like most of you did. Every now and then someone would make an inflammatory statement and get a bunch of downvotes, or get lots of upvotes for a really funny one. Makes sense. But I saw lots of downvoted comments (mine and other people's) where there was nothing to like or dislike.

It looks to me like some folks (or maybe just one really antisocial dweeb) are just going around downvoting everything they see. Does this bother anyone else? if we're all here to discuss the game, share decks and thoughts, and even disagree with each other, doesn't this type of behavior cheapen the legitimate use of the downvote?

    I welcome your thoughts.

Ok, the trolls are now welcome to jump in here and call me a boot-licking fanboy or whatever.

BOO! HISS! You are just a fan-licking boot boy! Wait....

Dang, I was trying to keep my fan-licking obsession a secret.

  • Amen! I'm also still waiting to see if achievements can be completed in Tavern Brawls: there's a lot of potential gain for us there, especially with the current Battle of the Bans one.

  • Garrosh comes out tomorrow, right? And then Uther in just a few weeks? Sweet! I always enjoy adventures!

Should've just made all dailies 1000xp. I mean, that 100xp difference is about 15 minutes of play.

Of course, the real question would be is this really even necessary to have low rolled quests in the first place?

I completely agree. Round numbers like 1000 are much more satisfying, and it would be nice to decide to keep or chuck a quest based on what it requires, not its value.

  • I'm just going to say I love these changes. Yeah, Blizzard missed the mark BIG TIME with the rewards track, and even more so with how they communicated about it, but this is a big step in the right direction to making things better. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt (since they've given me the game I love so much), and see how things pan out.

  • Why aren't there images for the Shadowshell Informant nerf? I totally overlooked it until I read the comments here.

I was not expecting Duels nerfs, but since they're doing it, I'm surprised they left the Hunter "trigger a deathrattle" hero power alone. That is super busted!

  • Is it just me, or is that Fish going to be totally busted? Think about early game deathrattles like Selfless Hero and Fiendish Servant, plus all the big summons you can get later on. That thing could get pretty nasty.

  • Ok, now we're talking! Thanks guys for this useful info, and congrats again to Alfi for winning all that juicy XP! May Yogg smile on you my friend!

What is the total exp you can gain from achivements?

    1480

That can't be right. Did you include some that had multiple tiers (like "Deal 50 damage with Tonk" then becomes "Deal 100 damage with Tonk" for example)? If it's really only 1480 all together, that's pretty crappy

So today I finally finished all achievments (except the Yogg secret kill which is nearly impossible to set up) the 500 corrupt cards played being the last one.

Wow! I am super impressed! Good luck on the Yogg one, seems really hard to get such a random effect
