I've now tried 5 times with Chrome over two days, once with Internet Explorer and once with Safari, and I get exactly the same issue each time. It's especially weird considering I have submitted to the last two competitions without issue.
Is there any alternate way I can submit? Time is rapidly running out.
The best we've been able to figure out is that there may be a limit to how much text is allowed as a description. Other than that, we don't know of any other issues that may be causing this.
Unfortunately there isn't another way to submit. We wouldn't be able to include your card in the voting pool without going through the competition system.
I've tried to submit my entry three times, but I keep getting this error, even though the timer has 32 hours left. Does anyone know what's going on?
We've had another report of this from another user - I couldn't replicate the issue myself, I was able to submit a card just fine, but I'll get this looked into
By releasing it early, you give everyone a chance to unlock the class so that they can play it immediately when the expansion launches, rather than having to wait to get through the story first.
I imagine staggering the release will also help alleviate potential server issues.
Of course, this doesn't excuse not being able to at least fight the Innkeeper as the Demon Hunter, even if it was just with a pre-built deck.
It wasn't quite clear that you wouldn't be able to use the cards at all until the 7th at first - we've updated the post to make it clear that you can't use them anywhere until the expansion releases.
We haven't quite gotten to this one in our reviews yet, but I just love it. Being able to selectively cast a few spells from a plethora of options seems like a really fun card to play, and I think choosing being one big spell and several little ones will be a real test of skill.
With Demon Hunters soon to be upon us, it only seems fair that they get some more Demons to hunt! Demon Hunter and Warlock are already chock full of them, so let's give the other classes a chance to play.
You must create a minion that has the minion type Demon
Your card must be a class card for any class except Demon Hunter or Warlock
Hordaki has asked for us to summon some demons, so we're happily obliging this week.
As always, I can be reached through Discord or here on the site via PM if you have any issues to report.

Do you have at least two copies of a (non-Legendary) card, across non-golden and golden?
If not, you will open non-golden or golden copies until you own two.
If you do, you won't open any more copies until you've collected two copies of every card of that rarity in that set.
Once you own at least two of every card in the set, there is a second check in place.

So the game gets you to two of every card first, then fills in the gaps in your non-golden and golden collections. Of course, the rates are still the same on finding those cards in packs. Once you own two of every card in a set at that rarity, subsequent pulls will be completely random (even if you disenchant cards).
Those are the effects of cards, not the actual cards themselves. So for example, the Blur one is denoting that your hero is under the effect of Blur. Practically everything in Hearthstone, from cards to card effects to card buckets, is coded as a card.
If you set "Collectible" to "Yes" they'll no longer show up.
I think the average player is more likely to enjoy random effects than a pro is.
Extremely random effects swinging games in your favour feels good if you're not a great player; mitigating the effects of randomness by building your deck correctly feels great for players of any skill level; overcoming or playing around some random effect can also feel great (though admittedly this does feel bad if you fail to do that); even just playing a bunch of random cards for fun as you mentioned is super fun, since games are always different.
I was one of those campaigning for unnerfed Yogg though, so I may be biased =P
I don't believe they ever stated that every class would get one. Neither Shaman or Rogue has one - Shaman I can't really say why, but Rogue certainly has a nice split of 5 Secret cards and 5 Stealth cards, so maybe they just didn't feel one fit.
Baku and Justicar will upgrade your Hero Power to give +2 Attack, while Genn will do absolutely nothing. (Source)
Finley will be able to offer the upgraded Demon Hunter Hero Power. I think it's implied that OG Finley will offer the Basic Hero Power as well. (Source)
The wording is sort of vague, but I believe you won't be able to use Demon Hunter in any Dungeon Run style adventure. Any adventure that has you building your own deck is fair game. (Source) (As an aside on this one, I believe they've said in the past that they don't intend to update the Dungeon Run style adventures with new cards. Each is intended to be experienced 'as it was', so to speak. I don't feel like trawling to try and find a source for that one, however.)
It is the most played Neutral card in the game according to HSReplay - 40% of decks, over 10% more than second place, Maiev Shadowsong.
Competition Theme: TAUNT, INSECT!
linkblade91 is Taunting all the time in Wild - apparently we're encouraging that kind of behaviour this week!

Competition Theme: The Price Of Power
We're looking for powerful minions this week - so powerful, in fact, that they come with a drawback to offset them.
For the purposes of this competition, Dormant is banned.
MathU wanted to see some cards that traded power for a price this week, so get those deals flowing!

Fully Grown is very similar to some existing cards, but it's definitely brand new, since it features the keyword counter mechanic.

We do actually know that Overgrowth will only give one Excess Mana... kind of.
The tweet that claims this also claims that it does this 'just like Nourish', which is of course incorrect, but I'd be inclined to believe it anyway.
If you're obliterating new players, you'll quickly gain MMR and no longer be playing against new players.

Duplicate protection will check the following:

Ah, you're right! I got so stuck on thinking of it like Tracking that I misread it as the top three cards, rather than just any three.
Still technically correct that eventually you'll draw the other cards, but the issue isn't as immediate as I might have made it seem =P

Class card vs Neutral, so it doesn't count

Yes, but Classic cards aren't allowed for this competition

Zephrys will offer Demon Hunter Basic cards (so no Kayn Sunfury). (Source)
Based on the information available, I feel confident in saying that Whizbang will offer you Demon Hunter decks.
I also feel confident saying that Demon Hunter won't join a MSoG gang.
I have no source on either of those ones, though.
