Edit: Just checked the site out on my laptop for the first time. I had no clue my images were so obnoxiously large. They're all scaled down to fit the screen on mobile, so I'll make sure to keep that in mind in the future.
We used to have a fair amount of people who did that, so I just learned to ignore it lol. Thank you for scaling them down.
Totally fair point lol. Although, I think it hurts more that A. the brand new location card is the one being ignored, and B. it was revealed first, of all the Druid cards, so to leave it hangin' is especially cruel.
Please help me. Battlecry minion that removes friendly location and turns the hero power into this location. I don't understand how to write the text of the card.
Or is it a bad idea anyway?
So you want your Hero Power to be replaced with the effect of the location? Like if you destroyed Nightcloak Sanctum, the Mage's Hero Power becomes "Freeze a minion. Summon a 2/2 Volatile Skeleton"? That's pretty cool, but Hero Powers are not cards, so I don't think that would satisfy the prompt.
Edit: A Legendary with something like "Battlecry: Destroy a friendly location to replace your Hero Power with its effects" could be cool and powerful, but again I don't believe that would work for this particular competition.
I'll have a better idea on the balance after thinking about it some more, but holy shit is this a cool idea. My Spider spell is so lame by comparison :/
This is Petting Zoo for the Rogue, by way of the Spider from Sticky Situation. Infusing it allows you to double down on the effect, after a delay. Not sure if that's worth it or not, when you can just have the first wave of Spiders immediately :/ I'll have to think about it some more.
Edit: I also made a 3-mana version that's less akin to Petting Zoo and more like Occult Conjurer. Probably needs to cost 4, too, but I'll leave it at 3 so people can readily tell the difference in their feedback and whatnot.
When I heard about the prompt, I challenged the idea of creating a weapon that could become a location, because it didn't really make much sense to me. This is my attempt at it: the Sword of Sargeras is legitimately a (gigantic) weapon and a place in WoW, having been driven into the planet by the mad Titan himself.
"plunge the Sword into Azeroth" is a flavorful way of saying "transform into a location".
The Start of Game is to warn the opponent that you're going for it, so you can't drop the location out of nowhere.
Yeah, I know it's a mess.
No, I'm not going with it for my submission lol.
The Legendary dragon on the location looks, awful, by the way. Hopefully we'll see a legit one soon-ish so Hearthcards can fix that.
Blizzard should look into a long-term solution to all the Secret Rogue stuff they want to do; I say just make them evergreen/continuous, instead of only handing out the occasional cycle. Then we wouldn't need to leech from other classes :P
Still, your idea is cool and could be really flavorful. We just need to somehow get Mysterious Challenger into Rogue haha
Knock off the Infuse (8), upscale the stats on the Gargons, adjust as necessary and bam: you've got a unique card that (hopefully) no one will complain about.
Summoning two would put it closer to To My Side!, a card that actually has a condition (unlike Call of the Wild, which only has "pay the mana"). You would then be justified to print something similar because not every deck that wants to use To My Side! can manage the requirements. Increasing the stats of the Gargons also makes sense to me, personally, to differentiate from the standard (Animal Companion) and the time they went lower with it (Demon Companion). Altimor should be summoning 5-cost Companions!
Gwen needs to deal 10 damage, but it doesn't specify she must use Hallowed to up her Power. I wonder if people might drop her package and just go for buffs or something to give her juice without running these other cards. Haven't played Runeterra in a while, myself, but they don't seem super exciting.
Gwen came out after I stopped playing League, so she doesn't have that same "oh wow it's just like the game!" connection to make her appealing to me. The Drain scissor animation is cool, though.
Indeed: It's more akin to Nature Studies than Primordial Glyph. This adds one more to the discount versus Nature Studies, but you must use it that turn whereas with the other spell the discount carries over between turns.
N'Zoth Taunt Druid is one of my favorite decks ever, and it just got a new revive target. Between this and the Treants, looks like I'm gonna roll a Druid this expansion.

Only one Druid card left; where are my Dragons Deathrattles? :(

Congratulations to BloodMefist!
We had a three-way tie for second, too :D

Good luck to the finalists!

In Wild: summon summon summon, buff buff buff, Astral Communion, Poison Seeds :/

Less than 24 hours left to submit!
Yay for Nozdormu: no procs, no wins :/
It actually has the Nature spell school; the Arcane is a mistake on our end. It will be fixed.
I'm right there with ya :)
Don't forget that they're Whelps, as well, so this goes hand-in-hand with a certain other Legendary Dragon...

That was a great video, as usual. Super excited to play some kind of Treant Dragon Druid - that's like two of my favorite things coming together!
"Nature!" *finger guns*
