Apparently Gruntled Patron is currently banned for both standard and wild (didn't check for other modes), most likely because he could cause a infinite (or atleast cap reaching) loop with Corpse Explosion. Surely this is just a temporary solution until the next balance changes.

Lol, seems like standard packs had a way too high chance to contain signature cards. I was one of the lucky players who experienced it myself before they disabled the packs. I got like 3 signature Legendaries out of 5 packs or so. I also saw someone on reddit who got 5 of them in a single pack.

Jaraxustein is almost as cool as Mecha Jaraxxus and I heard that his animation is awesome too. I'm definetely tempted to get it, but I have yet to see a video showcase of that skin. Hopefully someone uploads one soon.
Edit: Found one. Sadly it isn't as cool as I hoped, so I'm probably gonna pass on that one.
I was hoping unholy becomes that class that floods board consistently but no outright finishers
That does describe token DH pretty well. Sure, the archetype never really was meta, but there were and are a bunch of cards for that archetype that reward you for summoning and destroying your own tokens.

Accoarding to Discord the odds of getting a new card is still the same. They just reduced the odds for a cosmetic variant by 2.5% and for getting a cosmetic avatar by 5% to make space for the 7.5% chance to get a title.
Collector reserves still have a 25% chance to give you a new card

The stranger could still give you these new chain independant quests (complete bounty X with having atleast Merc X and Y in your Party)
Why does it matter what mercs are considered active if you are not in a match/bounty, if you can't complete any tasks outside of those two secnarios anyways?

Here's what I expect, though: not only will the buyable Merc be random and many of the rolls be worthless (spend overmaxed coins on a Merc that also has overmaxed coins!), I don't think you'll be able to spend many coins at a time on the available Merc, which means the benefit will be tiny or even worthless.
It was already confirmed that only unmaxed mercs have a trade offer at your campfire
From the image it looks like you can get something around 125 to 150 coins for two seperate mercs each day. That should let you speed up your progression significantly, without skipping it alltogether.

I just noticed that one of the hero-skins is more likely to be a Bartender skin. There currently is no Headless Horseman hero where the skin could be applied to, but most importantly the portrait doesn't have a thin purple color border inside of the wooden border, unlike all of the other skins in this bash. It would also make sense that the battle bash something for each type of Battlegrounds cosmetic

Each day 2 random unmaxed mercs are chosen and are offering you to trade in a limited quantity of coins. Like how you can see in the image where you can trade renown into 150 Vanndar coins and/or 125 Guff coins.

It may have took a year, but the excess coin solution is finally here. I also think that they solved it pretty elegently in the context of the Mercs mode, which is all about grinding. Being restricted to 2 random mercs with a limited quantity of coins each day allows you to speed up your progression, without skipping it alltogether with all of excess coins players have by now.
The new task chain indepenent tasks also look great. It gives you something to do each day, even after you completed all of the task chains. Also being asked to run some unusual comps and specific old bounties makes them so much more interesting that the usual Toki task.
I've been playing nothing but Galactus decks ever since his release (as a collectible card). I'm definetely grabbing this one as soon as possible.
Future signature cards will apparently also be animated.
Yes, they will have golden-style animations.

Knull is gonna be nuts with Galactus

You can already view them ingame in the collection screen.
If you want to learn more about the creation of other DK cards and the class as a whole, then you should definitely watch this video:

The card itself seems pretty meh to me, but (un)holy is that animation awesome.

Those are a lot of corpse generators, hopefully the next reveal will include a bunch of payoff cards for them

Yeah, probably makes more sense. I'm not used to her "good" apperance as someone who never really played WoW or Warcraft 3.
A legendary Alleria Windrunner skin was also revealed in a Death Knight gameplay video.
Um, everyone who owned a Diamond Drekthar got 3000 gold when they nerfed him, which is exactly how much they spend to get him
